KLEIN
I am very concerned about the number of unsound rears I saw today in the ring. One dog growled at me, but rest were fine in temperament. Some lovely youngsters coming along bodes well for breed.
PD (7) 1. Kimber & Bridgen’s Wychlea Ludo at Stonelight. 6mths black with excellent outline, proportions body and construction, balanced true spitz head with lovely oval dark eyes & v good ear set. Just needs time to settle in front, excellent rear gait. V promising. 2. Morgan’s Kismet the Maestro. 11mths and at that ‘in-between’ stage for body - needing more time to develop it. Having said that, he has harsh, straight off standing coat and excellent tail set. V good expression, but ears could be a bit higher set. Not going v well in the rear today, but nice side gait. 3. Bradshaw’s Kismet Lord of Misrule with Yslann. 11mths lovely wolf-sable/white parti, with an exquisite spitzy expression and head. Harsh straight stand off coat, v good tail, moves well, but is just a bit too tall for breed, a shame. Body currently lacking in substance.
PGD (2) 1. Jones’ Lusam Zeus. 19mths wolf sable with desired almost square outline. Excellent shoulder and forehand for this breed. Under his harsh textured coat he is lacking a bit of body development but he is well ribbed back with short loin. Has attractive head and preferred his eye shape and earset over 2. 2. Trendle’s Lusam Tuff Talkin’. Losing coat fast but still nice body shape. Moves with drive and briskness front and back. Prefer the head properties of 1.
LD (6) Strong class, rate first three of excellent quality. 1. Allison’s Terelatim Windy Miller. Cream sable with excellent outline and balance. Lovely head, dark eyes & well used/set ears. V good to go over having a compact body well ribbed back & excellent tail. V good bone, legs & feet, not settled at all initially on the move, in the challenge he finally put his mind to the task enough for RCC. 2. Johnston’s Dourhu Dynamic. Lovely black with excellent body, short strong loin, v good ear set but eyes are a bit full and need more ‘fill’ under them. Presents lovely outline, v good neck and tail set is excellent. Excellent harsh jacket completes picture. 3. Bradbury’s Wychlea the Buzz Word. Excellent quality throughout but naked on the day. Another time perhaps. Excellent movement, among best in entry.
OD (6) 1. Grayer’s Ch Terendak Irish Cream at Delgray. Incredible WOW! factor from this d with his immaculate presentation. Under that wealth of coat on this cream is excellent body shape and proportions. Excellent tail, lovely bone and tight feet, non-stop shower, he has lovely expression & pigmentation. On the move impresses for his rear & side gait. CC/BOB. His wonderful showmanship got him shortlisted in the group, well done. 2. Harrop’s Grovelyn Cream Tease. Here is a lovely balanced male with excellent true spitz type head. 7yrs and showing it a bit now, but still so good to go over, short backed short coupled, high set tail, excellent harsh jacket, correct front not too wide. Moves true all directions. 3. Serman’s Roydenzone Cortese Among Tymy.
PB (8) 1. Bradbury Wychlea Aimy Voom. Excellent quality black b just 6mths with lovely head/expression. Again, like PD, true spitz head proportions & balance, beautiful dark oval eyes, excellent ears, excellent shoulder & forehand, lovely body. Just needs to settle in front, has excellent rear gait. V promising, lucky breeder with this b being litter mate to PD winner! 2. Hughes’ Lusam Lucy in the Sky with Candease. W/sable b with excellent body; coat developing well, v good tail, pleasing construction & balance & movement. Prefer eyes and ears of 1. 3. Johnston’s Stormavon Silhouette of Dourhu.
JB (3) 1. Bradbury’s Wychlea the Duchess. V precocious 6mths b of exceptional quality. Already quite mature, so I hope she doesn’t come on much more. Another excellent spitz type head, beautiful forequarters, excellent body shape & proportions, excellent bone, legs & feet, coat is developing well for her age and her movement is such a joy to watch. It was her front action which was the deciding factor to make her BP. 2. Serman’s Tymy Time and Tide. Longer bodied but v good quality. Currently out of coat but hides nothing & has a pleasing body. Moves well, will do better once back in coat.
PGB (6) A different class. 1. Tyler’s Lusam Hera. W/sable with excellent conformation. Small, almost square shaped girl with short couplings & v good coat texture, not v settled on the move. 2. Sheasby’s Edburton Hint of a Tint with Wychlea. Orange/sable out of coat but v good to go over. Excellent harsh jacket, v good body, excellent tail, almost square outline with v good neck & body substance. Not settled on the move either. 3. Beck’s Nardik Sugababe.
LB (3) 1. Gillies’ Kartmel Whirlwind. Excellent quality black b with desired conformation; bouyant temperament; presents lovely outline. Under her v harsh straight outer coat is an excellent body. Would prefer ears a shade higher set. Excellent tail.
OB (6) 1. Morgen’s Edburton Fox Trot. 4yrs b who is not in her best party frock but, wow, the desired size, shape, outline, balance, conformation and movement I look for in the breed. Lover her head, the true spitz type, lovely forehand, legs & feet, excellent body & tail, moves so true, I could forgive the lack of coat today. CC, her third, well done. 2. Taylor & Bonser’s Dourhu Black Velvet. Black b who just didn’t want to be here today. Excellent body. V good front, lovely tail but not as compact as 1. Prefer ears and front action of 1. Excellent coat & tail. In the challenge, pulled her socks up sufficiently for RCC. 3. Banfield’s Atroya Winter Surprise.
