German Spitz Mittel
I found the Mittels more even in quality with closer decisions in some classes. I found measuring them interesting, colour & balance can deceive the eye, some I thought small were bigger than I thought & one I thought big was well under the measure, I shall continue to measure!
PD 1 Runfold Krafty Kidd, 9 months, full size but very well balanced & sound, excellent head & ears, scored in balance over 2 but I hope he does not grow on; 2 Spellcast Turban Legend with Runestone, 10 months black, has a lot of type, flat skull. Ears a little too large, not quite the rear action of 1. These two had the finish to go over a very nice baby; 3 Abbicheroh Bay. JD 1 Liubice Crazy Diamond for Caolita, white, stood out here, beautiful shape & balance & carried it well on the move. Nose pigment could be darker. Excellent coat texture, sound & typical on the move, excellent head & ears, I thought him an outstanding young dog. CC, his first, & BOB; 2 Nosregor Kateandy Moogydino, 12 months brown, beautiful size, shape & balance, correct on the move. Needs time for rib, body & coat; 3 Zephon Rubiestar. PGD 1 Wyndlee Yin of Sobriety, b/w, very stylish, typical & balanced, excellent coat texture. Stop a little deep & could be a little flatter in the skull, but had the balance & movement to win this class, in lovely form; 2 Desaria Loka mit Beaulion, b/w, preferred his head to 1, but not quite the leg length for perfect balance, very sound & typical in carriage; 3 Caoilta Nemesis. LD Good class headed by two excellent whites. 1 Rossfort Caractacus from Liubice, very typy with beautiful head & eyes, really good mover. Not in his best coat but I loved his head & movement, pressed hard; 2 Rossfort Xcel among Bulabs, excellent moving white with good coat texture. Slightly preferred 1’s skull & eyes, but he has excellent balance & carriage, in better coat than 1, should do well; 3 Nosrecor Fernando. OD 1 Ch Druitz Corncracker For Team Spitz, sound & balanced all through, just full of type, excellent movement & carriage. Not quite in his best coat but I liked him immensely. RCC; 2 Desaria Flash Gordon at Brookwell, choc/s, excellent type, coat texture. Not quite the accuracy in front of 1 whose head I preferred but like all from this kennel is full of quality & presented to look a picture; 3 Daraydala Secret Squirrel.
PB Excellent class. 1 Nixtev Lexis, what a lovely prospect for the future, pressed for top spot, 8 months white, lovely all through, feminine & balanced, good bone, sound & typical on the move with lovely carriage. BP; 2 Rossfort Wendika, 6 months, not quite as forward but beautiful shape & balance, great showgirl, full of Spitz type & carriage, beautiful balance, in great form & like 1 should have a great future; 3 Nixten Liberty at Jansanleis. JB 1 Nixten Kameo, wonderful mover, easy winner here, not in full coat but square & balance. In the challenge not as collected with a new handler but has great type & quality; 2 Galvizach The Choirgirl at Beaulion, longer cast & needs more body to balance her. Excellent head & ears, sound & brisk on the move; 3 Nixten Libertine. PGB 1 Runfold Joojoo Bee Doo, bigger stamp but within the size, would like her a little more feminine but full of shape & type, excellent carriage on the move, excellent bone, in great form; 2 Wyndlee Chandera Dotty Potty, parti, much smaller mould, lovely type, excellent coat texture, head & eye appeal. Would prefer a little more bone & substance on her; 3 Splimah Penny Lane in Wyndlee. LB 1 Rossfort Xanadu from Liubice, a little heavy in body but won on bone & substance, excellent movement & carriage; 2 Studholme Loving Lass, feminine & very typy. Bang out of coat & body. Lovely head & eye. Will look a different bitch when in form & have better days; 3 Shelayne Christmas Cracker. OB 1 Ch Nosregor Bewitched for Musique, lovely brown with balance & great carriage, good head type & neat ears, square & with good leg proportions. Tends to turn her feet out when standing but very good on the move. CC; 2 Ch Desaria Destiny, 7 years brown, feminine, lovely type, ultra sound. Just a little larger than 1 & I preferred the ears of 1. Lovely quality, great carriage. RCC; 3 Danacks Winny The Witch. FRANK KANE
