Critique

It was sad that I had to take over from E Dickinson as this would have been her first appointment to award CC’s in the breed. I hope she is feeling better now, though no consolation.

PD.
(3). 1. Andrew’s, Porterbel Sirius Black from Runfold. A smart 9 months old black dog, pleasing in head and expression with an overall good outline. Sound in quarters but just needing to finish in body.

JD.
(2). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Trikor Treat. 13 months old. Another black dog and a  picture in outline and good overall construction. Good head carriage. Perhaps a little light in eye but in general good allround.

PGD.
(4). 1. Trendle’s, Lusam Crispin Blunt. This dog has so much to offer, outline, carriage and a good body and sound construction. Well ribbed with good quarters. Lovely action and coat condition. Just a pity he is oversized. 2. Hill’s, Enzo Z Temnych Noci at Clfelin (Imp). A happy dog but not the soundness and construction of the winner. A little upright in shoulder which in general spoiled his outline. Pleasing in body with good bone and size. He made the most of himself on the move.

LD.
(4). 1. Palmer-Jones’s, Stonelight Dashing Denzel. A lovely dog to go over. Like his head, eye and carriage. This 4 year old has a well set neck, correct in coat and sound in quarters and action. Just a little light in body. Res CC. 2. Metcalfe’s, Flactum Domino. A little heavier and not quite the outline, but well ribbed. Sound quarters and good coat. Moved a little wide on the day. 3. Dickinson’s, Wychlea Pickle.

OD.
(6). 1. Highmoor’s, Ch Kartmel Legolas. This black dog stood out when he entered the ring. He has the outline and style with sound construction. Good head and carriage, neck and topline. Correct in tail set and ribbing. Good coat and correct action. CC. 2. Serman’s, Ch. Tymy Tymajusting. On the day, though much to like, he hadn’t the presence or outline of the winner. Correct in angle and ribbing but lacked a little in finish on the day. 3. Trendle’s, Lusam Tuff Talkin.

PB.
(3). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Marnie Brown. A 9 months old brown bitch who took a little time to settle but once she did showed her virtues in action. Good head carriage and pigment. Correct in ear set. Strong well put together body. BP. 2. Porter’s, Porterbel Magical Minks. Though 11 months old not the body or maturity of the winner. A feminine lady in head and expression. Good carriage and pleasing in side gait. Needs time.

JB. (8). 1. May’s, Chilite Painted Feather. For me this bitch stood out. Lovely outline and  excellent carriage and style. Feminine head and loved her expression. Sound in body and quite mature for 15 months. Good coat and best in action. RCC. 2. Highmoor’s, Kartmel Bootilicious. Not the body or coat of winner on the day but well put together. Need more time to finish but pleasing in action with good carriage. 3. Serman’s, Tymy Tymarekiya.

PGB. (5). 1. Hill’s, Edburton Llyngoes at Cyfelin. A smart bitch with a good outline and carriage. Liked her set of ears and super eye but just failed a little in dentition. Good top and tail,  ribbing and quarters, coat and a pleasing action. 2. Porter’s, Porterbel Ruby Tuesday. Not this young lady’s day. She stood with a sloping topline and failed most of the time to make use of her ears. Pleasing in body, bone and angles in quarters and on the move pulled herself together quite well.

LB.
(3). 1. Breen’s, Kylecroft Symphony. A bitch sound in general construction which generally fitted the standard. Correct in topline and tail, bone and ribbing. 2. Andrew’s, Claran Flipside. A smaller bitch who I found a little full in eye. Feminine through and quite pleasing in action.

OB.
(5). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Aimy Vooh. A bitch who commanded the ring the moment she entered. Correct in size and type with good style and quality. Feminine in head, expression, body and well proportioned. Well presented and the best in action. CC and BOB. 2. Duncan’s, Silver Ghost Sh CM. Much to like in head and carriage with good ribbing and bone. A little longer in back than winner and on the day lacked in undercoat but moved quite well. 3. Kotvaltova’s, Czech Ch. Zaira Z Temnych Boci.
