Critique
MPD. (1). 1. Gillies’, Kartel Dark Dream. Cute little dog. A bit apprehensive on the table but of a nice type and build. Head is typical Spitz in design and has enquiring expression. Moved ok for one so young.
PD. (3). 1. Morgan’s, Kismet the Maestro. Another attractive puppy very self assured and confident. Balanced head, with dark well placed eyes and topped by neat ears. Good front angulation. Firm body and strong rear movement. Moved easily over the damp grass. 2. Goodwin’s, Roydenzone Alfie Moon. This young man did not like the grass very much which is a pity as he is lovely to handle and shows himself off to advantage. I am sure he will have better days.
JD. (4). 1. Serman’s, Tymy Tic Toc. What a handsome boy with a gleaming coat, fox like head qualities and presented in ideal body condition. Well constructed throughout and moved accordingly. A little more maturity and he could do well. 2. Chambers and Rogerson’s, Nosegor Hot Shot for Musique. Lovely head, ample neck. Not quite the outline of winner and he was a bit naughty on the move. Shown in good form and coat. 3. Iveson’s, Carive Chunky Monkey.
PGD. (4). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlee the Buzz Word. This one took my eye on entering the ring. Compact outline and short coupled body with correct textured coat. Well set on tail. Super head with intelligent expression. Stood fore square to show off his virtues to good effect. Steady mover and enjoying the day. 2. Tendles’s, Lusam Tuff Talkin’. Attractive colouring. Head handles well and has desired outlook. Lovely body. Moved with ease. 3. Warriner;s, Timberwolf Jumping Jack.
LD. (7). 1. Beard’s, Ticapon Meritus Victor with Hosweth. A sparkling exhibit. Walked into the ring as though he owned it. Short cobby body, good legs and feet. Balanced head with quizzical expression. Presented himself well and covered the ring with style and purpose. RCC. 2. Highmoor;s, Kartel Legolas. Nicely tapered head with correct eye and ear placement. Neck set in well laid shoulders. Good body and rear end. Moved so easily over the grass. 3. Johnston’s, Dourhu Dynamic.
OD. (7). 1. Wright’s, Ch. Orion’s Mirror Image. What a super dog. Head of correct shape and proportions with dark oval shaped eyes and neat high set ears combining to give that exquisite outlook. Strong neck, good shoulders, short back and lovely feathered tail. Straight legs and well arched cat feet. His movement was free and flowing. Presented to perfection. BOB. 2. Chambers and Rogerson’s, Ch. Printzagems Bill Double You. In slightly less coat than winner but shares many of the same attributes. I am sure he challenges the winner on many occasions. A very worthy Champion. 3. Serman’s, Roydenzone Cortese among Tymsy.
MPB. (6). 1. Storm’s, Stormavon Spirit in the Sky. Beautiful cream coloured bitch. Classic head pattern, obliquely placed eyes and high set on ears. Looks great in profile and on the move, travels like a veteran. Correct angulation front and rear. Nicely boned straight legs and neat cat feet. One to watch. 2. Johnston’s, Stormavon Silhouette of Dourhu. Litter sister to winner and the same attributes apply. Though winner just had the edge on movement on the day, but I am sure they will change places many times in the future. Will watch their progress with interest. Very promising babies. 3. Beard’s, Nosregor Bright Spark of Hasweth.
PB. (4). 1. Kimber and Bridgen’s, Stonelight Giselle. Well built young lady, who really made the most of herself. Foxy head with cheeky expression. Lovely body shape. Covered by full coat and carrying a well plumed tail. Moved with style. 2. Blake’s, Dellafear Prosperina. Lost out to winner on movement, don’t think she liked the grass much. Nice type, square shape. Good construction and showed herself off when standing. 3. Beck’s, Nardik She’s the One.
JB. (3). 1. Dickinson and Robinson’s, Ternedak Bubble Cream via Powelin. Cream bitch in super coat. Sweet head with loads of charm. Firm body, straight front and plenty of drive behind. 2. Metcalf’s, Timazel Co Co Cahnel of Flactem. Another attractive lady who I am sure will have better days. Typical Spitz head and body shape. MOved ok. 3. Hawker;s, Uptownd Girl D’Arlanic.
PGB. (3). 1. Gillies’, Kartmel Whirlwind. Well presented exhibit in prime condition. Coat shining and well toned body. Moved with aplomb and show of her attributes to advantage. Movement steady. 2. Serman’s, Shetlock Infatuation among Tymy. Very nice bitch but unfortunately not in her best dress. Is a super type and her movement was a joy to watch. Will have better days. 3. Beck’s, Nardik Sugababe.
LB. (2). 1. Furber’s, Holbain Heaven Sent. Eyecatching colouring. Pleasing head qualities with the darkest of eyes. Good front and straight legs. Solid body and correct coat texture. Stylish mover. Strong contender for top awards. 2. Metcalf’s, Flactem Dreaming Rose. Pretty bitch, well made and moved ok.
OB. (8). 1. Kimber and Bridgen’s, Stonelight Periwinkle. Could not resist this sweet little lady not a flashy exhibit but, completely balanced throughout and her construction was second to none. It was a pleasure to watch her move. Just needs a fuller coat to complete the picture. Well schooled in the art of showmanship. Pleased to award what turned out to be her crowning certificate. CC. 2. Furber’s, Holbain Snow Fox. Another smart moving bitch and so well presented and pushed so hard for the top spot. Close up to winner on breed points, but had to settle for the RCC on the day. 3. Highmoor’s, Ch. Printzagem Vedi.
