KLEIN: Breed type was what I was looking for and movement was high on my thoughts too. The breed standard asks for miving without exageration from any angle and straight coming and going - viewed from side effortless brisk action retaining topline. This I found was lacking. Another was coat, the breed standard is clear here. - a dog without may well be well made, but it could be any breed without the profuse coat the breed standard asks for.
PGD. (3). 1. Furner’s, Holbain Star a Twingling. Black and white in full coat. Well constructed and moved well. Ear set good and lovely size. Square dog with good shaped head. RBD. 2. Furber’s, Oberitz Cosmopolitan at Holbain. Lovely dog to go over. Moved well not as square as first. 3. Beard’s, Ticapon Merirus Victor with Haswith (Imp).
OD. (6). 1. Hawker’s, Ch. Chilite Navajo. Chocolate and white. Sound to go over and moved sound too. Good square shape and well boned. In excellent condition. No question that he was a German Spitz - alert and that sparkle in his eyes. BOB. 2. Serman’s, Roydenzone Cortese Among Tymy. Black and white lovely harsh coat, good condition. Nice shoulders, well sprung ribs good bone. Very close decision to make just lost out on movement.
PB. (2). 1. Breen’s, Haswith Shady Lady at Kylecroft. Very much a baby not in coat yet but lovely shape. Moved well once settled. 2. Sermna’s, Haswith Fade to Grey among Tymy. Well constructed not as good as first but much a baby too. Good head and ear shape, should mature nicely.
PGB. (6). 1. Reynold’s, Holbain Parti with Biddle. Beautifully turned out in full coat. Well constructed and moved sound. Not as square as my Best of Breed but should do well in future. Lovely expression and dark eyes. Had that sparkle that a lot where lacking on the day. BOS. 2. Metcalf’s, Flactem Dreamin Rose. Beautiful dog to go over in good condition and nice coat. Lost out on movement. Hope this settles as she should do well. 3. Bradbury and Lamming’s, Wychlea Bee Bopalulu. OB. Trendle’s, Lusam Beatty Romanze. Black in full coat. Lovely head and expression. Nice shape ears and well set. Good construction, moved well. Well ribbed up and square. RBB. 2. Serman’s, Roydenzone Chianti among Tymy. Chocolate and white, beautiful shape and condition. Well set ears and nice shape. Moved sound front and rear. Had to nit pick in this class. Not as well ribbed up as one. 3. Haker’s, Chilet Bushbaby.
