Critique
KLEIN: PD. (2). 1. Johnston’s, Dourhu Dynamic. 9 months old black showing in full coat and presenting a square outline. Balanced head with alert expression and neat well set ears. Sound construction and showed well throughout. Positive movement covering the ground well. RBD. 2. Dickinson and Robinson’s, Terendak Bubble Top. 6 months old cream. Nicely proportioned head with good pigmentation and alert expression. Good size and overall outline but did not have the substance of first. A little unsettled on the move.
LD. (2). 1. Dickinson and Taylor and Ventura’s, Terendak Bubble Baileys. Cream of good size and substance presenting a balanced outline. Shown in good coat with sufficient length of neck to complete the overall picture. Nice tight feet and sound movement. 2. Caldow’s, Livlandean Yin and Yang. Black and white parti shown in full coat. Good substance and body shape with correct angulation. Firm topline maintained on the move. Alert expression with good ear set. Pushed first but unfortunately not moving quite as well on the day.
OD. (2). 1. Wright’s, Ch. Orion Mirror Image. Cream with lovely balanced outline in good coat and having sufficient substance. Proportioned head with good dark eye and neat ear set. Correct boning to quarters with good angulation and tight feet. Showed well and moved out with purpose. BD.
PB. (2). 1. Dickinson and Taylor and Ventura’s, Terendak Bubble Cream. 6 months old cream of good size and substance but presenting a super outline. Lovely head and expression and never stopped showing. Well laid shoulders and good hindquarters. Moved out with ample forward reach and good drive from the rear, covering the ground effortlessly. Really pulled out all the stops and on this performance should go all the way. BOB and BP. 2. Westwood’s, Jigh and Mighty. Brown and white parti just short of her birthday. Unfortunate to come up against first in such good form. Showed well but not quite the overall balance and head properties of first. Well set quarters with proportionate boning but not as positive in movement.
JB. (1). 1. Breen’s, Hasweth Shady Lady at Kyecroft. This young lady had left her coat at home, but was well made with attractive and balanced head properties. Good positive movement and when her coats comes back should have a promising future.
PGB. (1). 1. Caldow’s, Zwart Oploeien Van Promising Garden in Livlandean (Imp). Black showing with profuse coat. Well made with good angulation and covering the ground well. Would have preferred a little more all round to complete the picture.
OB. (4). 1. Wright and Ruotsalainen’s, Int Ch. Vilitens Dianna (Imp). Impressive black showing in full bloom with balanced head and attractive outline. Well put together with good angulation and proportionate boning to quarters. Unfortunately on the day her movement did not come up to the standard her construction would have suggested. RBB. 2. Caldow’s, Kartmel Ferrycrossing to Livlandean. Black who on the day had started to blow her coat. Pleasing head and expression with dark eye and good ear set. Well laid shoulders and of ample substance. In full coat would have given first a run for her money. 3. Westwood’s, Oldcharm Eartha from Llychlyn.
