Critique

KLEIN: I would firstly like to thank the exhibitors for bringing so many lovely high quality dogs under me. Certainly if this is the overall quality of the current Mittel stock it can only be good for the future. Movement is still a problem in both sizes with some dogs moving wide or hackneyed at the front or with very slack rear movement. All dogs went under the measure. Only a few mouths gave cause for concern and a small number were light in body. However I was pleased with the movement and construction of all my winners. Some classes were so strong that those placed will change places on many occasions.

MPD. (4). 1. Holmes’s, Holbain Shimmer. Cream dog coming into nice coat. Well constructed both front and rear. Well set tail. 2. Goodwin’s, Roydenzone Alfie Moon. Chocolate baby lovely shape with excellent front. Moved well just needs time. 3. Pearson’s, Rimazet Maximillian.

PD. (2). 1. Sermay’s, Tymy Tic Toc. Shaded black. Compact young dog in good coat and condition. Very well constructed, stood foursquare. Moved well from the rear. BPD. 2. Hill’s, Chilite Blue Chip at Cyfelin. Another quality dog in good coat. Just prerred the front angulation of the winner as a little steep in upper arm. Nice tail set and neat feet.

JD. (5). 1. Kimber and Bridgen’s, Stonelight Drunken Duncan. Young black dog not in full coat. Lovely balanced outline with sound construction. Good ear carriage and expression. 2. Dickinson and Robinson’s, Terendak Bubble Top. Cream dog in full coat, beautifully presented with lovely head and expression. Good dark well set eyes. Not as positive in movement as winner and slightly down on pasterns. 3. Trendle’s, Lusam Tuff Talkin.

PGD. (3). 1. Highmoor’s, Kartmel Legolas. Black dog good harsh coat. Moved soundly. Large ears, slightly marred on otherwise excellent head. Lovely mouth. 2. Morgen’s, Edburton Freddy Fox. Red dog finer throughout than the winner. Neat ears and feet. Good construction. Moved well.

LD. (6). 1. Allison’s, Oberitz Galaxy Romeo. DCC. Very sound dog, good construction with well laid shoulders. Good straight front with neat feet. Lovely head and expression. Moved with drive from the rear. BOB. 2. Trendle’s, Lusam Charlie Dobby. Cream dog, nice coat and condition with a good body. Neat ears. Well constructed, moved soundly. 3. Quayle’s, Kartmel Vianden.

OD. (8). 1. Naylor’s, Ch. Tymy Desert Hawk at Aniday. RCC. Very glamerous dog. Well put together and moved very well. Lovely head and expression. Nice eye and neat ears. Good tailset. 2. Furber’s, Wizaland Dr Papalou at Holbain. Chocolate and white parti colour. Very sound dog, excellent construction. Moved well. Just preferred the expression of the winner, but still a high quality dog. 3. Allison’s, Chilite Nitelite for Oberitz.

MPB. (5). 1. Warriner’s, Timberwolf Chocolate Chip. Lovely feminine young bitch. Balanced throughout. Good front with nice eye and expression. BP. 2. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Mazie Fantaize. Pretty baby with coat just coming through. Lovely balanced outline with short back and well set tail. Stood foursquare, nice on the move. 3. Temple’s, Rinazet Zephyr.

PB. (4). 1. Hawker’s, Chilite Spirit of Night. Mature young bitch. Lovely head and expression. Nice dark eye with neat ears. Tail carried well. Drove well from the rear. Neat feet. 2. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Hass That Jazz. Baby at her first show. Lovely outline. Needs her coat to complete the picture. Well placed dark eye. Good head pattern. Well set tail. 3. Sermay’s, Tymy Time and Tide.

JB. (5). 1. Furber’s, Holbain Snow Fox. CC. Lovely cream bitch who took my eye as soon as she entered the ring. Balanced throughout. Moved very well. Lovely head pattern with good pigment and mouth. 2. Dickinson and Taylor and Ventura. Terendak Bubble Cream. Another quality bitch. Beautifully presented. Slightly longer in loin than winner. Well carried tail. 3. Hawker’s, Chilite Okeechobee.

PGB. (6). 1. Temple’s, Dovetrees Loquacious Mit Rimazet. Very sound red bitch in good coat and condition. Well constructed with well set ears. 2. Allison’s, Oberitz Glamour ‘n’ Glitz. Quality bitch not in full coat. Lovely outline. Nice head and expression. Good well placed dark eye added to good Sptiz expression. 3. Warriner’s, Tegwell Star Attraction of Timberwolf.

LB. (8). 1. Kimber and Bridgen’s, Stonelight Periwinkle. Blue bitch totally out of coat but so full of overall quality. Could not be denied her first place. Showed off her lovely balanced square outline. Moved very well. Good head pattern. 2. Temple’s, Dovetrees Loquacious Mit Rimazet. 3. Goodwin’s, Roydenzone Flo.

OB. (8). 1. Hawker’s, Chilte Bushbaby. Heavily coated mature bitch not showing her age at all. Syperb construction and moved very well around the ring. Nice head, good mouth with full dentition. RCC. 2. Trendle’s, Lusam Beatty Romanze. Finer black bitch. Good front and aft with neat feet. Nice head pattern. Moved well. 3. Allison’s, Oberitz Touched by Magic.
