Kleins Leeds 2019
Thank you to Leeds committee for the invitation to judge GSK and to the exhibitors for the pleasure of judging their dogs. On the day I had a few concerns with movement and bites, and some excessive tear staining. I was very satisfied with my main winners and it was encouraging to see others with great potential for the future. My CC winners both had what I was looking for, overall breed type and outlook, substance, correct height to length ratio and sound movement. The bitch’s beautiful head proportions just gave her the edge for BOB.
PD 2 (0). 1 Mr and Mrs Chambers Musique Born Legacy. Eye catching white dog in sparkling profuse well textured coat ,not hindering his outline. Good head proportions with excellent pigment. Well set neck and body development sufficient for age. Sound front and wellset tail, could tighten a little in the rear assembly but moved out well. BPIB. 2 Mr & Mrs Gepp-Cox & Miss Cox’s Manzamas Pearl Diver (Swed Imp) TAF White dog with pleasing head, sufficient neck, not as not as compact or mature in body as 1. Showed well once settled
PGD. 1 1 Miss L Rogerson’s Nosregor Willhe Doo , he certainly will in many respects. Typical outline, good head proportions, pigment and expression, well set neck, balanced angulation. Moving a tad wide in front in the challenge but covered the ground well in profile.
LD 3 (1) Mrs Jackson and Mrs Minshall’s Perrymere Just Bertie JW Cream with good head proportions, pigment, clean eyes and well set correct ears, sufficient neck, balanced angulation and firm body, correct double coat, moved well in both directions to show off his virtues RDCC 2.Mr & Mrs Highmoor's Musique Rave On. Well coated black dog with masculine head, well set neck and firm body and loin. Not as true coming towards me as 1.
OD 3 ()) 1 Lewis’ Indizak Hakuna Matata at Louchelle Cream sable 6 year old dog I have judged previously and today was on top form and stood out immediately with his well balanced outline, correct off standing double coat, and sound movement. On handling had well placed ears of correct size, clean dark eyes and excellent pigment. Would like a tad more length of muzzle but has correct flat skull and great expression. Neat feet, good front and mature well developed body, very compact with short broad strong loin and muscled rear. Excellent height to length ratio. Gave his handler everything and did not put a foot wrong. DCC .2 Mr Pearce and Mr Francis’ Ir. Ch. Longsdale’s Cool Rider. Very typy 21 month old black dog. Excellent head in all aspects, well set neck and correct height to length ration, balanced correct front and rear. Not as developed in body and loin as 1 at present and unfortunately on the day badly distracted by a change of handler, once settled must have a bright future..3. Mrs J and Misses l L & S Moir’s Jansanleis Loud and Proud.
SBD or B 2 1 Mrs Slack’s Fecimus One Of Us Good double coat on this orange sable bitch Good mouth and head proportions, Well developed body and loin and showed herself to advantage. 2 Mrs and Miss Agar’s Musique Crème De La Crème. PB 4 (1) Mrs &Miss McPherson’s Kismet Night Fury. Black bitch with well proportioned head and good eye shape and placement.. Slightly reluctant to be handled at first due to a previous scare, but responded well to kind hands and eventually stood firmly to be examined.
