Critique

I would like to think the committee of LKA for their invitation to judge. Although there were a number of absentees on the day I had some really nice dogs to go over. All made the measure.

MINOR PUPY DOG 1 ENTRY NO ABSENTEES

1. MISS ROGERSON’S NOSREGOR WILLHE SURPRISE U.
Lovely balanced black puppy of just 6 months. Correct size and substance for age. Carrying wealth of profuse straight coat. Super head shape with correct bite, neat well placed ears and oval dark eye. Good body proportions and musculature. Moved well for one so young. Should have a bright future ahead of him. Best Puppy.

1. MR & MRS CHAMBER’S MUSIQUE BORN LEGACY.
15 Month old white who has matured into a lovely sound and well balanced individual. Good for size. Masculine wedge shaped head with dark eye and well placed ears, correct bite. Good fitting coat of correct texture and good length. Lovely body shape with strong straight well boned legs at front and rear. Well carried tail giving super square outline. Moved with good brisk action. Showed non stop to take the CC.

POST GRADUATE DOG 1 ENTRY

1. MISS BECK’S NARDIK WIZZARD
18 Month cream/white who was a little unsettled at first. Correct head. Nice dark eye though a little round in shape. Well placed neat ears. Good neck into well placed shoulders and level back good tail carriage. Short coupled body covered by profuse coat. Moved well at the rear but needs to tighten a little in front.

1. MRS JACKSON AND MRS MINSHALL’S PERRYMERE JUST BERTIE JW
Another really nice male who has much going for him. Shaded Cream with good pigment. Well bodied with clean neck and shoulders. Stands full square and has the correct desired outline with well carried tail. Neat correct feet. Good double harsh well fitting coat. Nice shaped head with good expression. Was seriously considered for top honours but although moving correctly at the rear was a little wide in front movement today.

2. MISS ROGERSON’S NOSREGOR WILLHE DOO
Cream who also has a lot to like about him. Well balanced with good body shape giving square outline. Correct carried tail. Nice wedge shaped masculine head, good ears and eye shape. Tended to stand a little 10 to 2 at front but moved soundly. Showed really well.

OPEN DOG 7 ENTRIES 2 ABSENTEES

1. MESSRS PEARCE & FRANCIS’ IR CH LONGDALES COOL RIDER
Black who is really nice to handle and go over. Correct head pattern with nice dark oval shaped eye, neat triangular high set ears, correct bite. Moderate length neck leading into well placed shoulders, soundly ribbed neat body, straight back and sound well muscled hindquarters giving correct square outline. Moved with the desired brisk side action and straight coming and going. Had to give way to the glamour of the junior winner today RCC.

2. MR & MRS CHAMBERS MUSIQUE QUILO
Well made pale cream shaded white who has plenty of substance. Lovely head and expression with dark eye correct ear placement and size. Correct bite. Good body shape, straight topline and high tail set giving pleasing outline. Moved steadily out and back.

3. MRS C SERMAN’S CH PRINTZAGEMS LATE ARRIVAL FOR TYMY

1. MESSRS PEARCE & FRANCIS’ CH LONGDALE’S WILLIE WIN JW
9 Year old cream looking good for his age. At the top end of the size range but made the measure with ease. Typical spitz head, eyes slightly rounder than desired but nice masculine expression, good mouth. Body has good balanced moderate angulation and is short coupled giving correct square outline. Good feet and legs allowing him to move with correct brisk action. Lovely coat shown in immaculate condition.

1. MRS SLACK’S FLECTIMUS ONE OF US
15 Month orange sable who moved really well. Neat feminine head with good mouth and eye . Ears well placed but a shade round at the tips. Firm sturdy body over neat feet and straight legs. Shown in full coat of good texture. Showed non stop for her young handler.

POST GRADUATE BITCH 2 ENTRIES 1 ABSENT

1. MRS BRAY’S POMMARY ZARA
Cream sable not too happy in the ring but eventually settled to show a sweet feminine head with correct bite and ear set. Carrying really heavy coat and too much weight made her look a little unbalanced when standing but moved ok.

1. MISS SHEPHERD’S FLECTIMUS THE GOOD FAIRY.
Sable carrying brown pigment which was compatible with coat colour. Pretty head with good eye shape and ears. Moderate neck length into moderately angulated shoulders and rear. Balanced short coupled body. Stood full square and showed nonstop for her handler. best mover in the class today.

2. MISS ROGERSON’S NOSREGOR GIRL ALMIGHTY
Black of smaller size but well balanced throughout. Body well made and short coupled but with more angulation at front and rear and thus covered more ground than one. Pleasing wedge head of correct proportions with dark expressive eyes. Lovely well fitting coat of good texture.

3. MRS AND MISS PERRY’S LONGSDALE’S LITTLE BIRD WITH FERRYBELLE

Super well made black with gorgeous head, dark oval eye, great pigment. Excels in breed type with balanced and well made body. Neck of correct length, firm even top line, good angulation and correct high set tail. Coat presented in terrific condition. Moved really well in all directions. CC and BOB

2. MRS BRADBURY AND MRS SERMAN’S OBERITZ TOPSY TURVY FOR WYCHLEA
Another well constructed black who has many of the attributes of the one above. Attractive head and feminine expression but slightly wider eye set and lighter eye than the winner. Well constructed body with high tail set giving good outline. Moved lovely in profile. RCC

VETERAN BITCH 1 ENTRY

1. MR AND MRS TRENDLE’S CH LUSAM PARTY POPPER SH CM
Particolour who belies being nearly 14 years of age. She retains her compact well made body with super square profile. Neat head and expression with correct oval shaped eye. So fit for age and therefore moved extremely well. Could not be denied Best Veteran in breed.
