1. Serman’s Ch Rochedo Bill The Badger by Tymy. Quality black/white particolour of 10 yrs. Soundly constructed lad who presented such a good outline with correct length of neck to balance, nice short back with firm topline, excellent ribbing, short loin and curled tail set on high. Most attractive head; masculine with good breadth to skull, good proportions, moderate stop, dark eye, ears set on high and clean cheeks. Pleasing angles front and rear and stands nice and straight in front on rounded, cat-like feet. Moving briskly with good carriage. Quality coat of excellent texture. Just beginning to show signs of his age in his face but could not be denied the RCC here today along with Best Veteran.
2. Jackson & Minshall’s Ch Holbain Just Like Bill. 9 yr old cream and another with lots to like. He appealed for overall type and presented a lovely compact outline. Quality head and expression with fairly flat skull of nice breadth, excellent eye and ear, good skull to muzzle proportions, clean cheeks, moderate stop and correct dentition. Moderately short neck, firm topline and tail set on high but winner had the edge in outline for me. He stands on small, cat-like feet and moves out briskly on the go around but preferred the down and back action of winner. Quality coat and very well handled.

1. Beck’s Nardik Wizzard. 3 yr old cream/white particolour. Up to size but pleasing to go over. Moderately short neck, firm topline, well rounded ribs, firm loin but a fraction longer than the ideal, high set curled tail. Nicely proportioned head with good breadth to skull, medium stop, dark expressive eyes, small ears set on rather high and correct scissor bite. Correctly angulated and stands straight in front on good feet. Moving briskly on the go around but could be firmer when going away. Profuse coat. Very well handled.

1. Bradbury’s Wychlea Percy Vehere. 2 yr old black who greatly appealed for type and he has the most delightful head and expression. Good skull to muzzle proportions, correct breadth to skull, moderate stop, oval-shaped eyes which are obliquely set, excellent ears for both size and set, clean cheeks and correct dentition. Moderately short neck, firm level topline, well ribbed back, short loin and tail set on high. Pleasing angles front and rear but elbows could be closer to the chest and standing somewhat wider in front. Moving so well in profile and nice and true when going away. Abundant coat of good texture.

1. Rogerson’s Nosregor Willhe Surprise Ya. 2 yr old black. A lively lad who greatly appealed. I thought him a correct type, good for size and he presented a super compact outline. Correct length of neck to balance, nice short back with level topline, excellent ribbing, moderate tuck-up, short loin and curled tail set on nice and high. Correctly proportioned head with lovely expression; nice breadth to skull, moderate stop, dark oval-shaped eyes which are obliquely set, super ears, clean check and correct dentition. Well made all through, standing straight in front and firm hindquarters with well let down hocks. Moving freely with typical brisk action of the breed and making the most of himself at all times. CC & BOB.
2. Jackson & Minshall’s Ch Perrymere Just Bertie. Cream approaching 4 yrs. Smaller boy all round than the winner and another who presents a nice square outline. He pleased to go over with moderately short neck, firm topline, well rounded ribs which extend back, nice short loin and tail set on well. Attractive head of good proportions, dark eye but not quite the shape of winner, small ears set on rather high, clean cheeks and good dentition. Moderate slope to shoulder, straight forelegs and nice cat-like feet. Moving a tad wider than preferred when coming towards and rear action not that of winner. Having said that he moved out well on the go around.

1. Beck’s Holbain Honey Bunny. 7 yr old orange/white particolour. Feminine girl who was good to go over. Nice and compact with correct length of neck, short level topline, ribbed well back, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Head of good proportions with nice breadth to skull, moderate stop and ears of correct size and set. Eyes good for colour but somewhat rounder than preferred. Nicely constructed with moderate slope to shoulder, straight forelegs, very good feet and firm hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle and well let down hocks. Happy showgirl.

1. Andrew’s Claran Black Diamond. 15 mth old black who won this class with some room to spare for me. She scored for overall type and presented a lovely compact outline with moderately short neck, firm level back, moderate tuck-up and curled tail set on high. Ribcage extends well back and is developing nicely for age and she has a nice short loin. Feminine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, fairly flat skull of good breadth, moderate stop, oval-shaped eyes of good colour and correct set, small ears set on well, clean cheeks and scissor bite. Moderate angles fore and aft, standing straight in front on good feet and firm rear with well let down hocks. Moving out briskly with good carriage. Just a tad closer behind. RCC.
2. Rogerson’s Nosregor Sister Sledge. Just over 12 mths old, this cream is a completely different type to the winner and really raw right now and appearing somewhat high on the leg. Wedge-shaped head of good proportions, good eye and ear, clean cheeks and correct dentition. Pleasing neck, level topline, good length to ribcage, short loin and curled tail set on high. She moves out briskly in profile, is true when going away but needs to tighten in front which hopefully will happen when she fills out. Well handled.

OB (4,0)
1. Serman & Bradbury’s Oberitz Topsy Turvy for Wychlea. This 6 yr old black won what was a rather mixed class. She scored for type and was so good to go over. Moderately short neck, level topline, pleasing rib, moderate tuck-up, firm loin and curled tail of good set. Feminine head and expression with correct proportions, fairly flat skull of good breadth, moderate stop, excellent eye for shape, colour and set, small ears set on rather high, clean cheeks and scissor bite. Moderate angles front and rear, standing nice and straight in front on cat-like feet and firm hindquarters with hocks well let down. Moving soundly with correct brisk action. Abundant coat of good texture. CC.
2. Hall’s Nardik Inky Dinky Doo. 5 yr old brown/white particolour who is a completely different type to the winner and carrying more coat. Another who is totally feminine with attractive head; good breadth of skull between her small well set ears, medium stop and clean cheeks. Eye of good colour but shape could not match that of winner. Enough neck, nice short back with firm topline, nicely rounded ribcage, short loin and tail set on well but not always using it. Moderate layback of shoulder, straight forelegs, excellent feet and firm rear with moderate bend of stifle. Moving briskly and true both coming and going.
3. Mellor’s Nirvarna Sunset at Bellapip
