GERMAN SPITZ - KLEIN
Thank you to the Society for their kind invitation. We were in a very pleasant corner ring which allowed us to keep out of the hot sun and all the exhibits coped really well with the heat. Not a very big entry which was marred by four absentees. I have never withheld a top award before and was so sad to have to do so but on the day the female exhibits present did not meet the necessary standard. PD 1 Rosco’s Hurricane (Lampen & Wilson) At ten months beginning to mature into a really impressive male. In beautifully presented coat of a nice clear colour. Excellent mouth and pigmentation with lovely dark eyes. Well placed ears which he used nicely. Correctly made in front and standing on good feet. Has a short compact body with good spring and depth of ribbing and an excellent tailset. Moved very typically in both directions and sparkled in the challenge to earn the CC & BOB. JD (2,1) 1. Fecimus We’re On The Ball (Trendle) Thirteen months profuse good textured black coat. Typical in head with good bite, defined stop and good skull. Smaller in eye than some but pleasing expression. Nicely boned with good feet, well sprung, short in back and has a good tailset. Full of himself, good on the move but footfall somewhat wider in front than the rear. OD (3) 1 Ch Radajasa’s Henri Fiocca At Delgray (Grayer) Big enough, really nicely constructed and pleasing head, darkest of pigment including his eyes. Nice neck, well ribbed up and carrying his tail well over his back. Immaculately presented white jacket of correct texture and length. Moved out with great style and not disgraced winning the Res CC. 2. Longsdales Dance With Me Trebettyn (Williams/Pearce/Francis) Pretty parti-colour which is very typical in head. Nice muzzle to skull relationship, being a bit lazy with his ears today. Well up on his toes. Good ribbing and excellent tailset. Would have liked him to carry more weight. 3. Ch Musique Born Legacy (Chambers). VB (3,1) 1 Cyfelln SolitairE (Hill) 12 years and still very positive on the move. Her pale coat was sadly lacking today. Pleasing head and expression with dark pigment. Good Ear Set. Well Ribbed And High Set Tail. 2. Jayfeather Parti Light (Kettle-White) ll years and coming into a new parti-colour coat. Nice muzzle and skull but her ears are somewhat widely set. Good for body and pleasing on the move. PGB (2) 1 Hollirox Wishing On A Star (Moon) Pretty coloured orange brindle with a pleasing head with good muzzle and skull and dark eyes. Her ears are somewhat large. Neck, front and ribbing all OK and stands on tight feet. High set tail. Decent on the move in both directions. Res BB 2. Delgray’s Bootilicious At BrookwelL (Saunders). Tiny white exhibit with a sweet expression but tendency to convey the image of a Pomeranian. Very compact and well ribbed. Not as positive in either direction as the winner of the class. LB 1 Kismet Valhalla (MacPherson) Light cream brindle in good coat. Pleasing in head with lovely mouth and pigmentation. Nicely used, well set ears. Compact with good ribbing and high set on tail. Carrying rather too much weight which had an adverse effect upon her front movement, fine going away. Felt that a little more bone and substance would give a more balanced appearance. BB.
