Critique

KLEIN Thanks to Bath committee for the invite to judge and for being such nice people. The happy lively breed which I am used to seems to have turned into dogs that look bored senseless on the whole. The conformation of the breed has deteriorated, with bad movement, lack of bone and Pom like heads, upright shoulders, front very wide and out at elbows. A very mixed bunch and disappointing to say the least. Loved my CC winners and RCC winners as well as the placings in Open dog and bitch.

MPD. (2). 1. Hutcheson-Boules’, Timberwolf Velvet Moon del Vocerode. Cream sable. Had lovely movement, good shoulders and rear angulation, balanced. Square dog well presented. Head needs to mature for me. Nicely made. Well deserved BP.

PD. (1). 1. Holmes’s, Oberitz Doktor Allwissend. Cream dog, lovely dark pigment. Nice wedge head and good ear set. Good thick coat.

JD. (4). 1. Stannard’s, Lusam Davey Dingle at Ulmarra. 17 months old cream. Lovely dark pigment, ears well set and good shape. Square in shape, good bone. Moved well. 2. Hill’s, Em z Temnych Noci at Cyfelin (Imp). Lovely markings in head. Well presented. Good bone, nice and square shape. Attractive ears and ear set. Attractive head. 3. Beech’s, Chilite Black Magic avec Sankarah.

PGD. (5). 1. D’Agostino’s Orion Storm Warning. 2 years old cream. Moved sound. Presented in full coat and looked lovely. Nice markings n head. Nice short and square. 2. Dyer’s, Wychlea Sailor Vee at Javarm. Black. Delightful head, good shape. Nice square dog. 3. Holmes’s, Holbain Shimmer.

LD. (2). 1. Clark’s, Chilite Rapajo. Black dog huge coat, well presented and well handled by such a youngster. What a lovely dog to go over, everything fits nicely together without bits sticking out here and there a delight. Good bone. Movement fantastic. Nice ears and set well. Nice wedge head. What more can I say? Well deserved RCC.

OD. (8). 1. Naylor’s, Oldcharm Black Knight. Black in full coat in great condition. Superb to go over. Lovely bone. Wedge head and neat ears and good ear set. Movement matched what you went over, lovely. Well ribbed up and nice spring of ribs too. Second time out for this boy but definitely one to watch., A well deserved CC and BOB. 2. Wright’s, Ch. Orion Mirror Image. Cream dog all the showman. Well presented. Square short dog. Lovely pigment, nice ear set and lovely shaped head. Good bone. Nice spring of rib. Can see why he does so well. 3. Allison’s, Terelatim Windy Miller.

MPB. (1). 1. Hill’s, Oberitz Lady Illusion at Javarm. Cream baby with a sweet expression and head. Short and square. Coat needs to mature. Nice ears and set well. Nice conformation.

PB. (4). 1. Dyer’s, Oberitz Lady Illusion at Javarm. Light cream, good thick coat. Nice conformation all over. Moved well. Well balanced dog. Nice wedge head. 2. Cook’s, Goldritz Sleepflower. Light cream presented well. Very unsettled on the day. Nice bone, good shaped head and ears, lovely dark eyes. Shame something has upset her earlier. 3. Beech’s, Oberitz Katrineelje for Sandokara.

JB. (4). 1. Kimber and Brigden’s, Stonelight Octavia. Very showy cream bitch. Has that sparkle that a lot lacked on the day. A little gem. Nicely made. Lovely head and ears. Moved well. One to watch. 2. Dyer’s, Oberitz Lady Illusion at Javarm. 3. Morgan’s, Lusam Love in the Mist.

PGB. (5). 1. Allison’s, Orion Chocolate Brownie at Paulgeo. Cream in full coat, nice and thick. Nice wedge head. Moved well allround. Lovely bone. Dark pigment. 3. Shipeden’s, Terendak Bubble Topping at Skerryness.

LB. (4). 1. Holmes’s, Holbain Emily Jane. Black coat, needs to improve, but had a nice shaped head and ears. Square little bitch. Well made. 2. Beck’s, Nardik Sugababe. Cream in full coat, nice and thick. Attractive spitzy head.

OB. (5). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Aimy Vooh. Black bitch who’s coat gleamed in the sun. In lovely condition. A true Spitzy head and ear set. Beautiful square shape, nice movement. Lovely conformation all over. Showed that lovely Spitzy happy go lucky attitude. No one else to touch her. CC. 2. Storm’s, Ch. Stormavon Spirit in the Sky. Can see why she has done so well. Lovely looking feminine bitch. Well presented in full coat. Good shape head and ears, shoulder and rear angulation well balanced. Moved well. Nicely balanced. RCC. 3. Trendles’, Ch. Lusam Beattie Romanze. A little gem in full coat. This 7 year old still holing her own. Nice head and ear set. Moved well, showing the conformation is good.
