KLEIN I would like to thank the committee for inviting me for this appointment and the exhibitors for providing the quality entry that awaited me. The icing on the cake was watching my BOB Klein take G1 later in the day.
PGD. (2). 1. Wright’s, Sunny Vom Chandrapura at Orion (Imp). 14 months old striking bright orange. A colour we do not see very often in German Sptiz. Short compact body. Ample substance for size. Alert expression. Brisk mover. Cleverly handled to curb his exuberance. Would prefer a more typical head. 2. McDonald’s, Kismet the Kraken of Glandonald. 14 months old sable and white parti. Completely out of coat. Good body. Preferred head of winner. Nice expression. Good for breed type. Lovely outgoing Spitz temperament. Really enjoyed his day out but did nothing to help his handler either standing or on the move. Would like to see him in full coat and with his mind on the job.
OD. (5). 1. Dickinson and Taylor and Ventura’s, Ch. Terendak Bubble Baileys. Mature, glamorous cream. Caught my eye as soon as he entered the ring. Lovely square outline. Very well balanced. Excellent head and expression, well placed ears which he used to advantage. Excellent tailset. Profuse coat of correct texture and beautifully presented. Effortless brisk mover. Never stopped showing. BD and BOB and I was thrilled to see him take G1. 2. Bradbury’s, Wychlea the Buzz Word. RBD. Masculine dark chocolate. No mistaking his sex but not a trace of coarseness. A dog I have much admired from the ringside and wasn’t disappointed on going over him. Lovely outline, stands four square, sound, balanced construction. Good head, mouth, ear and eye. Lacking in coat but what he had was of correct texture. Full of himself and really played his handler up on the move. 3. Beard’s, Ticapom Meritus Victor with Hasweth (Imp).
PB. (5). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Aimy Vooh. BP. 10 months old black. Though she would be my winner as soon as she entered the ring. Lovely outline. Feminine head, lovely Spitz expression, good bite. Excellent body and substance. In good coat and condition. Very sound on the move. 2. Pontin’s, Breuddwydni the Sorceress. Pretty chocolate sable. A real baby and very immature at just 6 months on the day. Nice outline, sweet expression, good head, ear and eye. Needs more body and coat. Little overawed with the whole experience but when settled showed she could move well. Hope to see her when fully mature. 3. Hawker’s, Chilite Savannah.
OB. (4). Very close decision between first and second. 1. Bradbury and Lemming’s, Wychlea Bee Bopululu. BB. Feminine dark chocolate. Another excellent Spitz from this kennel. Lovely square outline. Good mouth head and expression, nice dark eye, well placed ears. Correct harsh coat. Showed very well. Just had the edge on front action over seond. 2. Furber’s, Ir Ch. Holbain Snow Fox JW. RBB. Showy, eye catching cream. Presented a nice outline. Moved very well behind and in profile. I’m sure first and second will change places foten. 3. Hawkers’, Chilite Okeechobee.
