Critique

Thanks to all the sporting exhibitors who accepted me as a substitute, I v much enjoyed my time with you all.

PD (1) 1 Sermans Tymy Timajusting, balanced 8m lad currently sporting a sable coat with a heavy black overlay, width to his skull with fairly neat ears placed high, expressive oval eyes, enough stop with sufficient fill under eyes to complement his wedgy muzzle, good pigmentation, clean neck set well on decent shoulders down to tight feet, ribs well sprung & far enough back to give short firm loin, level topline & tail set high, hindquarters in balance with front, easy true willing mover, BPD.

JD (2) 1 Garretts Flactem Boot N Toot at Dajelilne, orange sable from a smaller mould, soundly constructed with width to skull but not quite the balance in muzzle, best of fronts & feet, clean neck, v short coupled & well ribbed, tail set & carried high, moves with precision.

OD (5) Best class of the day & a real pleasure to judge. 1 Dickinson, Taylor & Venturas Ch Terendak Bubble Baileys, compact cream shown in best of coats, excels for overall balance with firm body properties & good leg length, his head is most attractive being masculine with an ideal wedge shape from his broad clean skull through to his sufficiently filled muzzle, neatest of ears carried high, clean strong neck into well laid shoulders & straight forelimbs, short & level backed with firm loin, tail set high on correct croup, sound rear, moves true in perfect harmony with his quiet handler, a well deserved BOB in good company. 2 Wrights Ch Orion Mirror Image, another cracking cream shown in top form & not easy to separate these two, just felt 1 had the edge on overall balance, moves well & does everything his expert handler asks, RBD. 3 Kimber & Bridgens Ch Wychlea Ludo at Stonelight.

PB (4) 1 Kimber & Bridgens Stonelight Octavia, at 8mths thought this cream a little stunner, self assured & in great form, presents a compact balanced outline with delightful feminine head & all its properties well laid out, excellent front & tight round feet, well rounded ribs of good length, high tailset completes the picture, moves well as you would expect from her construction, put her back on the table in the challenge as a double check & confirmed her to be every bit as good as I felt she was earlier so could not be denied BB in quality company, also BP. 2 Melvilles Kartmel Satin ‘n Lace in Galkerah, white shows well & in good coat, not the compactness of 1 & needs to settle on the move, scored here on good high tailset & carriage. 3 Fields Stonelight Olivia.

JB (2) 1 Metcalfes Flactem Four Pleasure, brown sable & quite the livewire, balanced head with dark oval eyes well placed, straight forelimbs & fair neck, touch longer cast, tail carried high over level topline, extrovert but sound moving.

OB (5) v nice class. 1 Storms Ch Stormavon Spirit In The Sky JW, another v showy cream, feminine all through & in good quality coat but felt could have been groomed to better advantage, neatest of ears set high on skull of sufficient strength, moderate stop & correct length to muzzle, clean neck into well laid shoulders, mature in rib & body with tail set high, sound rear with which she demonstrated typical action, RBB. 2 Kimber & Bridgens Ch Stonelight Periwinkle, blue with distinctive haze over muzzle, balanced head with lovely oval eyes, excellent forequarters down to tight cat like feet, good length to leg, strong clean neck into level topline with correct croup giving high tailset, free easy mover. 3 Dickinson, Taylor & Venturas Ch Terendak Bubble Cream via Polielin.
