Critique

Klein  I apologise for the confusion about measuring and what to do with the oversized ones, but I simply don’t understand why do you expect judges to measure dogs if the size shouldn’t matter? In a breed like this, with several size variations, each one should fit in the limits, otherwise it is another variety. In the FCI countries we can move kleins to mittel and vice versa, according to the result of measuring. I understand it is not easy to breed for correct size, when there can be other size variations in the background, but actually, it is not the judge’s problem. Besides, we who are used to the FCI judging system, don’t consider disqualifying or withholding the awards as a big deal, it happens all the time. We have other similar breeds as well, like Poodles and Dachshunds. I feel very strongly about this, that one should always follow the country of origin. There is no need to create different types and change the standards in other countries. Everybody’s life would be much easier, if we had similar rules in every country. Anyway, there were several really nice Kleinspitzes and I thank all the exhibitors for their good sportsmanship.

PD
(3) 1. Chambers’ Holbain Benny for Musique, a cream dog, well constructer, good size, good coat, dark eyes, Res Best Dog and Best Puppy 2. Andrew’s Porterble Sirius Black from Runfold, black, bigger and stronger than 1, but still needs more depth of brisket, good coat and  colour. 3. Leadbetter’s Limberg Silver Moon.

JD
(2) 1. Clarke’s Sronelight Enzo, strong, correct proportions, good coat and  colour, one of the canine teeth not correctly placed. 2. Leadbetter’s Limberg Silver Moon, very small cream dog, somewhat feminine, not in full coat, moves close in front, still needs to mature.

PGD
(2) 1. Morgan and  Carr’s Kimacrests Carte Diamond, a big but very nice cream dog, well angulated, beautiful coat. 2. Trendle’s Lusam Chrispin Blunt, too big and heavily boned, heavy in head, beautiful coat and  colour.

LD
(3,1) 1. Jones’ Lusam Zeus, a grey dog in full coat, good size and proportions, good bone, moves well. 2. Clarke’s Chilite Rapajo, bigger and heavier than 1, black with some grey shade, moves very well.

OD
  (4) 1. Kimber and  Brigden’s Ch Wychlea Ludo at Stonelight, a very well constructed black dog with excellent coat, moves very well but a just little wide in front, somewhat narrow underjaw, BOB. 2. Trendle’s Terendak Bumbleberry.

Vet
  (2) 1. Ch Lusam Beatty Romaze, a black dog, short compact body, well constructed but carrying too much weight. exc. shoulder and  front, moves very well. 2. Trendle’s Lusam Charlie Dobby, short and compact, shows his age in hind movement.

PB (2) 1. Thomas’ Gamegards Christmas Fairy, very pretty cream, not the shortest one but well constructed and moves very well, res. best bitch. 2. Leadbetter’s Portable You’re a Diamond, a short-bodeid liverand white, a little upright in shoulder, also hind angulation could be better, doesn’t settle to move properly.

PGB
(3,1)1. Morgan’s Lusam Love in the Mist, a small liver bitch, out of coat, short head, undershot mouth, hind movement not quite sound. 2.Avent’s Lusam Little Sprite at Paulgeo, a cream bitch, far too fat, the skull is rounded, large eyes and  ears, long soft coat, undershot mouth.

LB
(1). Pontin’s Breuddwyndni Witchcraft, a liver feminine bitch, still a little light in general impression, lacking underwool and so her coat lies flat, well angulated.
