Critique

GERMAN SPITZ
KLEIN We commenced in the outside ring where the grass was rather long for a small breed but most exhibits coped really well, and when we moved the bitches inside due to the cold and rain there was little difference in the length of grass so it proved to be the same for everyone. Thank you for the sporting way in which my decisions were accepted.

MPD. (2).
1.Hawker’s, Chilite Tomahawk. Impressive 7 months old b/w parti in fabulous coat.Lovely masculine head and nicely balanced throughout. Well boned legs with good feet. Plenty of spring to rib and excellent tailset. Full of confidence on the move and maybe a shade bouncy, but true going away.
2. Allison’s, Oberitz Renegade. Very immature black baby who found the wind something of a trial. Good head and eye and perfect mouth. Good topline but only prepared to put his tail up when on the floor. Once he got the hang of it he was good on the move.

PD. (6).
1.Chamber’s, Holbain Benny for Musique.Beautifully trained white in lovely coat and good body condition. Head benifitted from his lovely small ears and dark eyes.Really well ribbed back and on well boned legs and nice feet. Good level topline which he held on the move.
2. Andrew’s,Porterble sirius Black from Runfold.Pleasing, true Spitz head on this black which had excellent balance. Used his neck well and had good topline and tailset.Moved somewhat erratically but in short spells showed off decent action.
3.Holmes’s, Oberitz Prinz Charming.

JD.(3).
1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Trikor Treat.A lot to like about this black. A lovely head with good ears, good mouth and well developed stop. Expression just spoilt for me in one of such dark colour. Well proportioned with good leg length in relation to body depth and has the ideal angulation at the rear. Moved well.
2. Hughes and Forrester’s, Candease Back to the Future. Elevated from his fourth place in Puppy.Another black with pleasing muzzle to skull relationship. Just a shade large in ear.Well proportioned body and good topline.Needs to gain in confidence. Moved ok.

PGD. (3).
1. Trendle’s, Lusam Chrispin Blunt. Such a well constructed exhibit with the best of angulation both fore and aft. Pleasing head with correct colour and shape of eyes, neat ears and super expression.Balanced outline with good spring to ribs. Well boned legs and excellent tail set. Moved very well indeed.
2. Morgan and Carr’s, Kimbacrests Carte Diamond. Cream in good coat condition. Pleasing skull though maybe a shade fine in muzzle.Head somewhat dominated by his ears. Lacking in width in front but adequate spring of rib. Good width to hindquarters and good tailset. Moved okgoing away.
3. Hill’s, Enzo Z Temnych Noci at Cyfelin (Imp).

LD. (4).
1.Stanndard’s, Lusam Davey Dingle at Ulmarra. Judged this one as a baby and liked him then. Pretty coloured brindle with the most lovely head with all parts combining to give great expression, perfect mouth, eyes and ears. Correct angulation at both front and rear and has the curved ribs and short couplings to form the best shaped Spitz. Excellent on the move in both directions and I was delighted to award the CC and BOB. It was a great surprise to me that it was this breeders first ever CC.
2. Palmer-Jones’s,Stonelight Dashing Denzel. Not disgraced to stand second to the CC winner and was awarded the RCC. Similar in head and style to winner. Black with compact body, good legs and feet. Best of toplines and tailset. Not quite as positive on the move and could have had a little more coat.
3.Hawker’s, Chilite Smokin Joe.

OD. (6).
1.Highmoor’s, Ch. Kartmel Legolas. Well up to size black with a lovely head, best of necks and good topline. Well sprung body and good depth of brisket. An excellent mover and in well presented jacket. His pigmentation just not quite right to appeal to me.
2. Serman’s, Ch. Tymy Tymajusting. Silver shaded black who wasnot in the best of coats on the day. Pleasing head with good mouth, dark eyes and neat ears. Would benefit from a tad more depth to rib but compact in body and has pleasing tailset. Well trained and moved steadily and tidily.
3. Kirby’s, Terendak Bumbleberry.

MPB. (2).

1. Bradbury’s,Wychlea Marnie Brown. Gorgeous bright coloured full coated brown with the bestof heads, toning pigmentation, lovely eyes and ears and with ideal skull to muzzle relationship. Everything in proportion and good width all through. Best of toplines and tail and full of confidence. Nice on the move, dare I predict an excellent future.BP.
2. Allison’s, Oberitz Raven.Somewhat overawed black baby who was unlucky to meet winner on such form.Sweet head, well shaped body and good tail which she would only use on the floor where her confidence returned enough for
her to show me good movement.

PB. (3).
1. Wright and Storm’s, Orion Music of theNight. Black with lovely head, good eyes and mouth. Neat well set ears. nice neck leading into good topline. Good depth and length to ribcage and short coupled.Finished with good tailset and nicelyplumed tail. Moved well. Another that surely must just improve with age.
2.Hughes and Forrester’s, Candease Blithe Spirit. Brown in good coat and condition. Correct muzzle with good width of skull but slightly spoiled by large ears. Nicely spring body and good feet and bone.Acceptable tailset.
3. Leadbetter’s,Portable Your a Diamond.

JB. (5).
1.Highmoor’s, Kartmel Bootlicious.Another very typical black with pleasing head and the neatest of ears which helped her to this spot. In reasonable coat and showed well for her handler. Improved angulation would enhance her action.
2. Trendle’s, Lusam Parti Popper. Bigger b/w parti which is well made all through.Pleasing mouth, eyes, muzzle and skull. Extremely attractive and pushed hard here but just a little exaggerated on the move.
3. Hughes and Forrester’s, Candease Blithe Spirit.

PGB. (5). 1. Dyer’s, Oberitz Lady Illusion at Jacarm. Well coated cream with typical head piece though being neater in ear would enhance her outlook.Good tailset and topline to compact body. Moved rather well going away.
2. Holmes’s, Oberitz Fiery Fox. This lady’s coat is returning and when it is full she will trouble the rest. Very nice head type, nicely set on neck and well angulated both front and rear. Good mouth and excellent pigmentation. Moved well.
3. Hill’s, Edburton Llyngoes at Cyfelin.

LB. (5).
1.Wright and Storm’s, Orion Absolutely Fabulous. Beautifully coated white. Lovely balanced head with everything in the right proportions. Good mouth.Excellent topline and tailset. Pleasing angulation at rear and moved well.
2.Allison’s, Oberitz Fairy Magic. Pushed hard for top spot. Cream parti in nice coat. Sweet head and expression. Good construction both front and rear with the best of curved tails. Nicely balanced and moved well.
3. Hughes and Forrester’s, Dourhu. Cocaholic at Candease.

OB. (6).
1. Bradbury’s, Ch. Wychlea Aimy Vooh. Two lovely black headed this strong class and I am certain they change places frequently. Winner just scored in compactness and her lovely front construction. Head of the best type with lovely shaped
eyes, neat ears and well shaped skull. Well sprung body with short loin and the best of tailsets. Demonstrated really good brisk action to win the CC. In the challenge for BOB she did not project herself quite as well as the male, who was also a tad better in coat.
2. Dyer’s, Ch. Wychlea the Dutchess. Another of excellent quality and I see both have the same sire. In lovely coat. Many of the same virtues including neat well set ears. Good bone and tight feet. Moved well. RCC.
3. Duncan’s, Silver Ghost Sh CM.
