Critique

klein A low but in the main decent quality entry. No oversized dogs but a couple at the top end. Only one bad mouth but a lot of dirty teeth, no wonder so many German Spitz lose their teeth at an early age. Rear movement could be better and one or two wavy coats. Only a couple of domed heads.

JD (3,1) 1 Highmoors Wychlea Trick or Treat. Well balanced black dog with a good spitzy head, nice earset and correct eye shape. Enough bone and body. Moved nicely both ways and kept a  good topline. Stands well with a good outline. Neat feet, well set tail. Harsh double coat. 2 Chamber’s Holbain Benny for Musique. Beautifully presented white with an excellent double coat. Nice wedge head and erect earset. Correct mouth and good pigmentation. More rounded on ribs than the winner and slightly wider in front. Compact and short coupled, moved steadily.

LD (2) 1 Stannard’s Lusam Davey Dingle at Ulmona. A lovely, well balanced cream sable carrying a super double coat. Excellent outline with a well boned body. Compact and very well constructed. consequently moved really well and with purpose. A gorgeous head with small, neat ears, correct bite and of correct proportion. A pleasure to go over this lovely dog and a well deserved Res CC. 2 Clarke’s Stonelight Enzo. Very well conditioned dog but not as purposeful on the move as the winner, and slightly close in the rear. A nice wedge head with goo earset and nice eyes, correct bite. Good bone and body and a harsh, straight coat.

OD (6) 1 A very nice class and one in which places will, I’m sure. change about regularly. 1 Highmoor’s Ch Kartmel Legolas. This dog pulled out all the stops on the day and showed at his best. Alert and lively, carrying a very good head, masculine but not coarse. Neat, erect and small ears, correct bite and sparkling white teeth. Very good bone and body and put together so well that he moved correctly both ways. Harsh black coat in excellent condition, correct tailset and neat, cat-like feet. DCC and BOB.. 2 Clarke’s Chilite Rapajo. Well presented and handled black. Moved well but not quite the presence overall of the winner.  Nice head, good eye and correct mouth. A strong wedge head, but slightly wide set ears. Well boned, compact dog with a good coat, nice tailset and plenty of body. 3 Serman’s Ch Tymy Tymajusting. 

PB (1) 1 Bradbury’s Wychlea Marnie Brown. 10 month old youngster that showed well for her age. Well balanced and of a very nice outline, compact but not too short. A pretty head with small, neat ears, correct mouth and pigmentation. Enough bone and body and well put together. Moved quite steadily both ways. Carries a promising double coat. Best Puppy.

JB (3,1) Two very  nice blacks, but both very much out of coat, consequently hiding nothing. 1 Highmoor’s Kartmel Bootilicious. Quite square and well proportioned with a nice spitzy head, good eye and small, well set ears. Good bone and body, good high tailset. Coat still coming. Moved reather unsteadily. 2 Wright and Storm’s Orion Music of the Night. Sadly blew her chances by refusing to move properly. A pretty and nicely proportioned head with erect, well set small ears, correct eye shape and bite. A well put together body with nice bone. Compact but not too short and with correct construction hould move well. Harsh coat coming on.

PGB (4) 1 Trendle’s Lusam Parti Popper. A very striking black and white parti colour with the good bone and body and lovely outline one has come to expect from this kennel. Good and well proportioned spitzy head, correct ear set and size and nice eye shape. Compact but not too short and moved out nicely, keeping a level topline. A little close at the rear going away. Super quality, harsh straight double coat. 2 Pidgeon’s Stonelight Eleisha. Attractive and feminine, well balanced cream. Correct eye and bite, erect ears and a nice wedge head. Enough bone and body and is well put together and moved quite steadily both ways. A little immature as yet. 3 Dyers’ Oberitz Lady Illusion at Javarm.

LB (5) 1 Breen’s Kylecroft Symphony. Very nice cream who moved as well as any on the day. Brisk, effortless and correct both ways. She’s so well constructed with a good wedge head, a little strong but of correct proportion and with small, well set ears and nice eyes, good bite. Very thick harsh coat but not quite finished yet. 2 Cook’s Goldmitz Sleepflower. A very pretty, feminine white with a nice head, small ears, nice shaped eye and a good mouth. A good, almost square outline, well boned and nicely put together. A little erratic on the move. Looked lovely and a well put down lady. 3 Allison’s Orion Chocolate Brownie of Teralatin.

OB (5,1) 1 Dyer’s Ch Wychlea the Duchess. A very well put together black lady and in full bloom on the day. Quality coat just at its best and beautifully presented. Alert expression on a very nicely proportioned head with nice ears and set, correct bite, medium sized oval eyes which are well placed. Well balanced and put together, and moved straight coming and going. Showed to her best on the day and made a lovely picture. CC. 2 Wright and Storm’s Orion Absolutely Fabulous. Lacking slightly in coat on the day and needs a little more maturity. But what a delightfully feminine lady who will, no doubt, do very well. Excellent proportions, almost square and well boned and bodied for size. A pretty wedge head with neat, small erect ears, good dark eyes and correct bite. Moved with panache, straight coming and going. Maintained a good topline, well set tail. Harsh, pure white coat. Res BB. 3 Serman’s Shetlock Infatuation Among Tymy.
