I was happy with my main winners but several points need attention. Several level bites, a few with weight issues, but mainly hocks should meet the ground at 90 degrees when standing. They were all over today.
MPD (1) Duncan’s Stonelight The Ginger Man,
r/s 6 month male, pushing the measure, excels in head type & body, very sound with well set tail, well presented. PD (2,1a) 1 Bradbury’s Wychlea Rhonday Vooh, coatless but joyous black male, very sound on the move when settled but his high humour caused some high stepping, good to handle on the table with enough reach of neck & well set tail, masculine outlook. JD (1) 1 Halligan’s Icabel Shine On, parti up to bodyweight, short coupled with good profile, brisk mover but wide in front. Muzzle & eye well shaped but back skull rounded. Neat ears. YD (1) 1 Witheld. PGD (2,1) 1 Dawson’s Whity Jet, r/s of nice size & overall shape, good back skull but short muzzle, well set ears, well set tail, moved choppily. LD (3) 1 Andrew’s Porterble Sirius Black from Runfold, super head & expression on this nice sized dog, good profile & stood foursquare, good reach of neck & well set tail, bone OK for size but he still has some maturing to do body wise. Not in full coat, but when moved he was as sound as they come. RCC; 2 Whity Jet; 3 Dixon’s Mrs E Flactem Bongo Fury. OD (6,1) 1 Kimber & Bridgen’s Ch Wychlea Ludo at Stonelight, well matured black boy with huge well presented coat, well proportioned head & eye, lovely profile when you knocked the coat out of the way, excellent body & well constructed. Moved a little narrowly, but briskly. CC & BOB; 2 Metcalfe’s Flactem Domino, very short coupled parti dog with mature outlook, good on handling, well presented with high set tail & good head. Preferred movement of 1; 3 Chambers’ Ch Nosregor Hot Shot for Musique.
MPB (1) Moir’s Stormavon Sky Flyer to Jansanleis, cream with black points, exceptional pigment, well shaped skull, ears a bit wide, very big good quality coat, hopping a lot on the move but front seems to be OK. PB (6) 1 Bradbury’s Wychlea Isadora Ball, loved this bitch puppy despite her somewhat lack of undercoat, fabulous square shape & totally balanced, beautiful head with a Spitzy outlook, good reach of neck & leg length, straight, brisk movement. Seriously considered for CC, but just not enough coat on the day. BP & RCC; 2 Metcalfe’s Flactem Nightspot, cream girl, longer cast than 1, big well presented coat, feminine head with nice expression. Tail started to flag after I placed her, hocks need watching; 3 Hawkins’ Flactem Spinaround at Zarnika. JB (2) 1 Thwaite’s Timberwolf Izzy Bizzy Lizzy, despite having a novice handler who needs to perfect her table & ring handling, this bitch moved in a straight line all the time. As sound as they come, good body properties but not in full coat, she is up to size but has a well proportioned head & well set tail. Love to see her properly handled & prepare; 2 Storm’s Stormavon Scotch Mist, flashy cream with excellent pigment, smaller but longer cast than 1, pretty head, extremely well presented & handled, good on side gait. Preferred rear of 1, moving & standing. YB (2) 1 Tullis’ Radajasa Double Fizzion, beautifully prepared white, again with dense black pigment, kind head & expression with good length of foreface, balancing back skull, which is missing on some of the other bitches today. Firm body on handling & well knit solid loin, well handled. CC; 2 T Izzy Bizzy Lizzy. PGB (2) 1 T Izzy Bizzy Lizzy; 2 Halligan’s Northern Light at Icabel, full coated, happy girl, up to weight, good in profile but throws the front on the move, head OK but short in the foreface, very full coat tending to wave a bit. Well prepared being beautifully clean. LB (3) 1 Andrew’s Dusty Midnight Sky over Runfold, short coupled black, very Spitzy head with lovely proportions & earset, good straight mover. Needs a little more coat to complete picture; 2 Hill’s Edburton Llyngoes at Cyfelin, cr/s with very dense pigment, lovely on the move, stop too defined but an otherwise nice bitch. Moved truly & briskly, this longer topcoat really does need more undercoat to complete the picture; 3 Thwaite’s Timberwolf Izzy Bizzy Lizzy. OB (6,2) 1 Wright & Storm’s Ch Orion Absolutely Fabulous, white with exceptional pigment, good to handle on table & presenting good outline. Preferred leg length to body proportions of my eventual winners; 2 Francis, Pearce & Storm’s Ch Stormavon Silhouette, cr/s presenting a good outline, good overall head shape but eye a little open, moved very well & nice to handle; 3 Temple’s Rimazet Zephyr.
