KLEIN Thank you to Midland Counties for the appointment I was pleased with the entry. Mouths were not a problem. Eyes and ears were more of a problem as it became increasingly hard to find the oval eye and small triangular and high set ears asked for in the standard. Watch those feet as some were quite wrong for this bred.
PD. (6). 1. Hawker’s, Chilite Nite Spirit. Quite a mature 7 months old black. Very nice wedge head with correct eye shape and ears. Good neck into moderate shoulders and level topline. Front angulation good including forechest with enough bone for size. In my opinion would prefer him to be slightly higher on the leg. His abundant coat was beautifully presented and he moved well. I just preferred the overall balance of the bitch for Best Puppy. 2. Allison’s, Oberitz Sunshine. Red sable baby of only 6 months. Super wedge head with well filled foreface. Nice eye shape with smallish ears set on high. Ideal make and shape with masculine outlook. Moved well. 3. Serman’s, Tymy Tymex.
PGD. (7). 1. Haywards’, Holbain Cool Fool. Freshly coated brown patri of ideal size with immense charm. Lovely head and expression with correct eye. To be hypercritical although his ears were high set and alert at all times I would have preferred them smaller to be ideal. Super topline with good tail carriage and strong enough bone for his size. Beautifully presented in tip top condition. Moved really well. RBD. 2. Halligan’s, Icabel Shin On. Really nice head and expression on this brown parti. Correct eye and best of ears of the day. Ideal size with good angles and enough bone for his size. Moved well enough. 3. Rogerson’s, Flactem Try and Catch Me.
OD. (4). 1. Pearce and Francis’s, Stormavon Special to Me. Sable and kinda took my breadth away. Top for size and no mistaking his sex. Super wedge head with the darkest of eyes and high set alert ears. Moderate neck into correct shoulders and firm topline with high set tail. Well angulated with good ribs and short loin, well off for bone. Super round feet bit to be hypercritical he needs to tighten in pasterns. Beautifully presented and a born showman. BD and BOB. 2. Trendle’s, Lusam Tuff Talkin Sh CM. Wolf sable who is a great shape in good coat. Correct wedge head with really dark eyes. His rather large ears spoil his expression. He is a very soundly made dog with super substance and good movement. 3. Leadbetter’s, Limburg Silver Moon.
PB. (5). 1. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Isadora Ball. Black coming up for a year and is almost out of coat. Fortunately she is of ideal size and balance so managed to get away with having less than some of her contemporaries. Ideal wedge head with correct eye and ears. Slightly more than moderate neck and well laid shoulders. Having less coat than normal accentuated her good topline and tail carriage. Good depth to chest and well off for bone. Correct cat feet. Moved really well. BPB, BPIB and RBB. I belive this class win gives her her Junior Warrant. Well done. 2. Leadbetter’s, Pommary Pasty Klein. Red sable of 9 and a half months. Not in fullest of coats but it is in good condition and well presented. She is porportionally very nice with good length to legs. Her wedge head is well balanced with dark eyes. She moved well. 3. Hills’, Tymy Tourbilloin of Kilima.
PGB. (6). 1. Allison’s, Oberitz Astrobee. Black in full bloom. Absolute stunner. Ideal for size with everything in the right place. Super eye and expression with small high set ears. Enough bone for her size. Altogether a very feminine outlook. BB and BOS. She pushed the dog hard but couldn’t quite match his showmanship. 2. Asher’s, Wychlea Lady Saphie. Another very nicely headed and made bitch. Good bone and substance and ideal for size. Very well presented and moved well. 3. Bradbury’s, Wychlea Marnie Brown. A super trio.
OB. (3). 1. Serman’s, Bonneavid Treacle Tart among Tymy. Black who is in-between coats. Nice wedge head with dark oval eyes and although her ears are high set they are slightly large. Good for make and shape and of ideal size. Well off for bone and substance. Moved well. 2. Hawker’s, Chilite Okeechobee. Black with abundant coat which was beautifully presented. Good wedge head with correct dark eyes but found her ears to be rather low set. Moderate neck and shoulders. Firm topline but just too long in the loin. Well off for bone and substance and nice feet. 3. Trendles’, Lusam Super Spats.
