Critique
German Spitz (Klein) LD (2,1) 1 Hamer's Dajelilne Charmander Of Clarmer. Excellent temperament and training, showing to perfection and coat beautifully presented, with a full off-standing outer coat. Lovely, almost square in outline with level topline and high-set tail. Movement true and sound, balanced angulation front and rear, brisk and effortless in motion.Best Of Breed. In the challenge for Best In Show, I thought the Klein superior in mouth, almost square outline, off-standing coat and in movement. The mittel judge preferred the undeniably more breed-typical head shape and proportions of her Best Of Breed and was delighted to see the referee judge support her choice. PB (1) 1 Avery's Aveka Carbon Copy. Slightly longer than desirable in loin, coat rather sparse and flat due to shedding, but very positive in temperament.Dark, obliquely set oval eyes, reasonable width to flat skull, moderate stop, muzzle tapering to form a wedge-shaped head with correct scissor bite. Movement sound, but giving the appearance of double-tracking by her insistence on turning to look at her owner rather than straightening out and facing in the direction she was moving.Best Puppy JB (2.1) 1 Hamer's Lasaulettetipp Top Tilly Of Clarmer. Outstanding for compact outline, balance, level topline, high-set tail, showmanship combined with off-standing coat showing excellent quality, texture and presentation. Unfortunately the skull tended somewhat towards an apple dome, inevitably combined with a deep stop and frontally placed, rounded eyes. LB (5, 4) 1 Moir's Stormavon Sky Flyer To Jansanleis. Slightly longer in body than some and very much out of coat, but well constructed with balanced angulation and sufficient layback of shoulder and length of upper arm to ensure that the elbows are vertically below the withers.Level topline correct tail-set and carriage, enough reach of neck to carry the head well. Wedge-shaped head of balanced proportions, dark oval eyes obliquely set not too far apart, clean cheeks, tight flews, black pigmentation. Movement parallel coming and going, showed well. Reserve Best Of Breed. Vet B (1) 1 Avery's Kartmel Breezer. Compact outline, well laid shoulders, sufficient length of neck, balanced proportions to wedge-shaped head, well placed, small triangular ears, correct scissor bite, good black coat with black nose, eye-rims and lips. Moved well though a little grumpy about it and dropping tail more than was desirable. Best Veteran
