Critique

It was a great honour to be invited, and I would like to thank the committee  for the privilege and the exhibitors for a glorious entry of 77 Kleins.  Together with the judge of Mittels, Mary deats, we agreed on the Klein boy,  Stannard's Ch Lusam Davey Ding At Ulmarra for BIS.

VD (4, 1) 1 Chambers'  Ch Nosregor Hot Shot F Musique. 9 year old brown dog, right up to size, but so  well balanced, good skull to muzzle, slightly bold in eye, well built front and  rear, correct rib, excellent topline, brisk and easy mover. 2 Mole's Ch Molead  Moonbeam. Deep gold dog, attractive head, lovely eye, good topline and tailset,  well laid shoulder, good rib, sound, well made rear, beautiful coat. 3  Trendle's Lusam Charlie Dobby. Lovely size cream, just a touch short in muzzle  for me, good eye, level topline, nicely angulated and quite sound in front,  super coat.

MPD(4) 1 and BPIB, Wright's Orion Shockwave. 6 months cream,  good mid size, good skull, correct stop, nice dark eye, well angulated in  front, good bone and feet, correct topline and tailset, sound, well made rear.  2 Dickinson's Paulgeo Abbots Boy. 7 months, wolf sable boy, showing lots of his  extrovert temperament today, lovely balanced head, super eye and expression  with good ear, well made front and rear, head of good size, just at the typical  bum high stage. He has so much promise. 3 Holmes &Leadbetter's Birlington  Bert Of Bow. 7 months gold sable, lovely eye, good rib and topline, he is of  good size and balance but needs time.

PD (1) 1 May's Ayupduck Bees  Knees. Very stylish 10 months cream, attractive head, just a touch short in  muzzle, well shaped eye, good shoulder, correct topline, not just as compact as  I would like, super coat.

JD (3, 1) 1 Stannard's Ulmarra's Hot Toddy.  Just up to size wolf sable dog, so well balanced, correct in neck and topline,  lovely head, eye and ear, good rib, well angulated front and rear, sound both  ways with a brisk gait, quality coat. 2 Serman's Wyndlee Twizzel Stick By Tymy.  Mid size black with a lovely eye and good ears, correct in neck and topline  with well set tail, good rib with just enough tuck up, nicely angulated, sound  rear, quite stylish but a little too much lift in front, good coat. 3 Mole's  Chilite Shooting Star. Good size, deep cream, well shaped dark eye, just not  quite the muzzle length for me, good topline and tailset, unsettled on the move  today, beautiful coat.

PGD (6) 1 and Res CC, Francis, Pearce  &Tullis' Icarus Von Zwergen Konig. Good size white with super outline, good  head, super dark eye and correct ears. A pleasure to go over, well made,  strongly muscled with everything in the right place, stylish going round with a  super sound rear, just not quite as precise in front, nevertheless a lovely dog  in excellent coat. 2 Hourd's Stonelight Rafferty's Rules. Cream boy of correct  size, again a delight to go over, but just not quite the outline of the winner,  lovely head with beautifully shaped, dark eye and good ears, sound rear in full  coat. 3 Beck's Nardik Tiger Woods. Full coated black of good size, good skull  and ear, but rather short in muzzle, well placed shoulder, good rib, topline  and tailset, sound, beautifully angulated rear.

LD(7) 1 Morgan's Cyfelin  Jack Frost Ahlenagen. Gold sable boy, impressive in outline and of good size,  balanced head with dark, well shaped eye and correct ear, well angulated front,  good bone and feet, just a little deep in rib and a touch overweight, super  topline and tailset, sound, well angulated rear, full coat. 2 Norkett's  Applebanks Thruppence. Correct size, well balanced gold, eyecatching on the  side but a little unsteady in front, attractive head, good ears, lovely bone,  neat feet, correct rib and topline, well set tail, good rear. 3 Allison's  Oberitz Sunshine. Beautifully marked gold sable dog of good size and  proportions, the most beautiful eye and expression, well put together  throughout, stylish on the side in full coat.

OD(8, 1) 1 CC, BOB and  BIS, Stannard's Ch Lusam Davey Dingle Ulmarra. Gold sable dog, just right for  size and balance, correct neck and topline with well set tail, lovely head, eye  and expression, so well put together, seen in his soundness and style, good bone  and feet, full coat. 2 Bradbury's Ch Wychlea Rhonday Voc. Up to size black dog,  good head with balanced skull and muzzle, dark well shaped eye, well built  front and rear, good topline and tailset, correct rib, in full coat. 3 Wright's  Ch Minigarden Emil Lovely Boy. Eyecatching white dog in very full coat, goodd  neck, topline and tailset, attractive head, dark eye, very pleasing to go over,  stylish mover.

VB(8) 1 RCC and BVIB, Dyer's Ch Wychlea The Duchess ShCM.  Beautifully balanced, good size black, totally correct in head, correct eye  shape and colour with good ears, correct neck, topline and tailset, well laid  shoulder with correct upper arm, balanced with her rear giving her the correct  brisk, sound gait, good rib, full coat, lovely girl. 2 Wright's Chilite  Midnight Magic. Nice size black with good head, well shaped eye, and good ears,  level topline, correct tail, good rib, sound well made rear, very full coat. 3  Trendle's Ch Lusam Beatty Romanze. Attractive blue bitch, lovely head and eye,  well made front and rear, correct neck, topline and tailset, good rib, lovely  bone and feet, stylish mover.

MPB(5, 1) 1 and Res BPIB, Wright's Orion  Still Here. Attractive cream bitch with lovely outline, good head, beautiful  eye shape, good ears, well built front and rear, good topline and tailset,  stylish on the move, just a little unsteady in front. 2 WrightChilite Indian  Shadow. Good size, brown with well balanced head, correct eye and ear, well  laid shoulder, good bone, level topline, well made, sound rear, good coat. 3  Penwarne's Sheldamar Voodoo Doll. Very eyecatching shaded black of good size,  super head balance, lovely eye and ear, well made throughout, stylish and  sound.

PB(2) 1 and Best PB, Eades' Seirian Solitear. Brown bitch of good  size, well balanced with a lovely extrovert temperament, well balanced head,  lovely eye and ear, good shoulder, balanced upper arm, good bone, correct rib,  well set tail, sound rear, good coat. 2 Allison's Oberitz Cocoa Bean. Dark  brown, lovely size, level topline, well set tail, attractive head, well shaped  eye, nicely angulated front and rear, quite stylish on the move, good coat.

JB(4)  1 Hamer's Clarmers White Cotton Candy. Very attractive cream bitch, lovely  neck, topline and tailset, well shaped dark eye, good ears, correct balanced  front and rear angles, good bone, correct rib, sound and quite stylish, in good  coat. 2 Metcalf's Flactem Midnight Blues. Pretty, petite shaded black, lovely  eye, just a touch short in muzzle, good to go over with correct topline and  tail, sound rear, good coat. 3 Beard's Wyndlee Tilly Mint.

PGB(10, 2) 1  Hill's Cyfelin Rudna Juliet. Up to size gold bitch, correct head properties,  dark eye, good ear, correct neck, topline and tail, a very eyecatching bitch,  short of coat but nothing to disappoint when going over her and sound both ways  with a brisk gait. 2 Wright's Chilite Lunar Moon. Nice size gold bitch, again  balanced in head with dark eye which was just not quite the shape of the  winner, satisfying under the hand, level topline, sound, well made rear, full  coat. 3 Avery's Aveka Carbon Copy. Lovely headed black with a correct eye shape  and colour, well put together and sound when settled.

LB(8, 1) 1 Storm's  Stormavon Sky's Pink. Very eyecatching, deep cream of good size with a correct  outline, balanced feminine head, beautiful eye and good ear, so well put  together with excellent upper arm, good bone and neat feet, sound both ways,  brisk and easy, good coat. Chambers' Printzagems Viva La Diva For Musique. Good  mid size black bitch, correct skull and ear, fair muzzle, lovely eye, correct  level topline, well set tail, well placed and angulated front with matching  rear, correct rib, sound rear, a little unsteady in front, good coat. 3 Hughes  &Forrester's Tymy Quicksteps To Candease. Well balanced black of good size,  beautiful eye and expression, good skull with correct ear, just a touch short  in muzzle, well put together overall, sound rear, well presented.

OB(11)  1 CC, BOS and RBOB, Francis &Pearce's Ch Rimazet Serafino Of Longsdale JW.  Brown bitch, never put a foot wrong, impressive in size and outline with well  balanced feminine head, correct eye shape and colour, correct ears, so good to  go over, seen in her sound, brisk gait, in full coat. CC. 2 Penwarne's  Sheldamar Spell On Voo. Exciting black with beautiful head, eye and expression,  balanced front and rear angles, correct rib, topline and tailset, well muscled,  sound rear, good coat. 3 Serman's Tymy Footsteps JW. Very pretty black of good  size and proportions, attractive head, well shaped eye, good ear, very pleasing  to go over, stylish on the move, good coat.

Brace 1 Glenys Bradbury.  Matched dog and bitch, so similar in type, moved in perfect harmony.
