We were able to take advantage of a good ring & despite the noise of the various gratings under the carpet the exhibits coped with the hubbub of the hall very well.
VD (2) 1 Trendle’s Lusam Crispin Blunt, black, lovely dark eyes, typical in head & expression, good neck, topline & well carried tail, in proportion & moving well, in extremely good condition & enjoying himself; 2 Highmoor’s Ch Kartmel Legolas, nice black, excellent mouth proving that teeth can be retained in a small breed. Typical head & body proportions fitting well together, in lovely coat & carrying tail nicely. PD (4) 1 Hawker’s Chilite Running Bear, brown/w parti, in lovely coat of correct texture, good mouth & pigmentation, well developed in skull, pleasing front construction. May stand a little wide in front but positive. Bone straight & toes point in correct direction. Well sprung in rib, level topline, correct tail carriage, good action; 2 Pearce & Francis’ Longsdale’s Willie Win, still has some developing to do in head which will then balance with his ears. Mouth & pigment fine, neck & topline nice & firm. Could have more length to ribbing & needs to fill in front to perfect his stance; 3 Highmoor’s Printzagems Zak Icelett. JD (1) 1 Serman’s Rochedo Bill The Badger by Tymy, pretty parti, something of a handful. Pleasing in head type, good mouth & pigment, excellent length to ribcage, head carried nicely, good tailset, nicely boned legs & neat tight feet, moved fairly well when settled. PGD (4) 1 Stannard’s Ulmarra’s Hot Toddy, beautifully coated sable, great pigmentation, lovely in skull & muzzle proportions. Ears just spoil the overall look. Well supported on good legs & feet, well ribbed up, pleasing angles at both ends, good tail carriage, moved pretty well; 2 Eades’ Seirian Mr Bojangles, very pretty coloured brown, toning pigmentation, pleasing in skull & muzzle. Expression spoilt by rather round eye. Somewhat upright in upper arm which means his elbows are not in against his ribs & also affecting front action. Level topline, plume carried nicely though set on could be improved; 3 Davies’ Edburton Braun Fox at Wychlea. LD (6) 1 Norkett’s Applebanks Thruppence, lovely headed orange, super expression, correct width of skull, nicely placed ears, good mouth, correct angulation at front, neat legs & tight feet, sufficient turn of stifle & excellent action. Well sprung in rib & high set on of tail. RCC; 2 Kemp’s Orion Black Dazzle at Yanlan, typically headed black, nice eye colour & shape, neat in ear & pleasing for neck, good topline & tail carriage, quality exhibit. Not moving as positively as 1; 3 May’s Ayupduck Bees Knees. OD (3) 1 Highmoor’s Ch Printzagems Verve, jet black, lovely head & expression, well developed in skull & nicely shaped muzzle, well constructed in front, the best of angles, tight elbows, neat legs & good feet, excellent spring & depth of ribcage, holds topline all the time. Pleasing rear angulation, moved out well in both directions, beautifully presented. CC & BOB; 2 Cook’s Goldritz Stole The Sun, glamorously coated cream, good head, nice bone. Just a shade wide in front which means he did not move in the same tracks. Lovely high set tail carried over a well proportioned body. GCD (1) 1 L Crispin Blunt.
VB (2) 1 Morgan’s Lusam Love In The Mist, what a showgirl, in excellent coat & condition. A little steep in stop but otherwise a lovely head, nice body proportions, well boned, standing on tight feet, nice on the move. PB (6) Very nice class where the very young ones were so underdeveloped in comparison with those that are nearly a year old. 1 Bradbury’s Wychlea Vixen In The Dark, at almost 11 months this one is all of apiece already. Lovely balanced outline, the best of heads, dark eyes, good mouth & soft expression, nicely angulated in front, well ribbed, excellent tail set & carriage, the best of movers in both directions. BP; 2 Avery’s Aveka’s Estrellita, nicely marked b/w parti, very nice head, skull developing nicely & good muzzle shape, godo mouth, pleasing in neck & topline. Could benefit from a higher tailset. Nicely angulated at both ends, moved very well for one so young. Hope as she fills out she will sort her stance, this comment being applicable to many in this class; 3 Hill’s Cefelin Titania. JB (2) 1 Trendle’s Lusam Toodle Pip, lovely coloured sable, the best of construction that is so evident from this kennel. So much to like about this youngster, good neck, topline, tail carriage & pleasing on the move; 2 Wright’s Chililte Indian Shadow, has all the hallmarks of the kennel that produced her. Lovely head type, good mouth, toning pigmentation, well sprung in body & kept her shape on the move which she did nicely going away. PGB (4) Unfortunately I did not consider the rear action was quite typical on two exhibits in this class. 1 Hill’s Cyfelin Rudna Juliet, such a well proportioned & truly typical example of the breed, excellent head type, lovely neck, correct topline, well carried tail. Moved in typical style in both directions. I thought she was just lovely & coming into great condition but she was not so keen on me. RCC; 2 Eades’ Seirian Solitear, brown, lovely quality coat of correct texture, the same outlook as her kennelmate. Neat in ear. Just a little short in neck but decent body & excellent tailset & carriage. Not overly boned but neat tight feet, moved nicely at rear; 3 Misra’s Orion Dance With Stars. LB (8) 1 Morgan’s Lusam Maybe Baby at Ahlenagen, well proportioned sable who caught my eye immediately, so typical in head, correct skull, good eyes & triangular ears without exaggerated tips. Lovely mouth, excellent ribbing, firm topline, good tail set on & carriage, lovely legs & feet. Set off rather wide but settled down to decent action in both directions; 2 Highmoor’s Printzagems Temptation, nicely coated b/w parti, very similar head type to 1. Good mouth, excellent balance, nice in body & pleasing markings, quality exhibit who moved very well; 3 Delve’s Claran Pavlova. OB (6) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Ch Rimazet Serafino of Longsdale, showy brown who has graced this top spot on many occasions apparently. Lighter weight than some & maybe on the small side but she makes up for this in personality. Perfectly handled to get the best from her & she gives her all constantly. Well up on her toes & maintains her shape at all times. CC; 2 May’s Ayupduck Queen Bee, black, tiny white points that have to be ignored when she moves as it appears her feet are not on the ground. Pleasing in head type, balanced in outline, good ribbing, liked the shape of her feet, moves at the right width in both directions; 3 Moir & Moir’s Ch Stormavon Sky Flyer to Jansanleis. GCB (2) 1 Trendle’s Ch Lusam Parti Popper, I love the type of this one but in her first class she was playing around on the move. Holds topline well & carries herself with some style. Just wish she had smaller ears.
