What a shame there were only puppies in one of the 4 puppy classes. I do hope this breed is not reducing overall as they really are such delightful dogs.
MPD & PD (0). JD (4) 1 Hamer & Hamer’s Clarmers Diamond Mischief, lovely headed black who moved really nicely. Could have a darker eye but this is always more obvious in a black. Nice in front, well sprung in rib & stands four square; 2 Dyer’s Oberitz Melting Point at Javarm, a more petit example. Nicely proportioned head, good mouth, well boned. Would like a bit more all through. Didn’t retain her width on the move; 3 Pearce, Francis, Williams & Williams’ Longsdale’s Lets Go Trebettyn. PGD (1) 1 Morgan’s Ahlenagens Fancy That, attractive cr/w parti, in excellent coat. Well up to size. Good pigmentation, dark eyes & good mouth. Excellent body & rear angulation. Could have a bit more in front. Excellent showman & moved OK. LD (1) 1 Jackson & Minshall’s Holbain Just Like Bill, in beautiful coat & condition, correct for size. Has pleasing head properties & excellent pigmentation. Found him rather tied in front but ribbing OK & nice angles at the rear. Well carried tail & confident on the move. OD (4) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Ch Longsdale’s Willie Win, I don’t think I have seen this boy before but from, the same stable & mould as Jen the current star. Well balanced cream though he did stand long on the table. Loved his very typical head but would prefer smaller ears. Nicely made all through. Great tailset. Moved a shade close at the rear. Great coat quality. CC & BOB; 2 Serman’s Rochedo Bill The Badger by Tymy, b/w parti who left most of his jacket at home. Lovely head though some may prefer a finer muzzle. Good pigment & mouth. Neat ears, Good bone & feet. Shows well & nice on the move; 3 Norkett’s Applebanks Thruppence.
MPB (3) 1 Penwarne’s Oberitz Vertigo at Sheldamar, new to this & not 100% on table to start with but soon OK. Totally confident on the ground & so she might be as she is nicely made throughout. Sweet expression, head developing well. Good bone & spring of rib, good tailset, moved really well. BP; 2 Williams’ Foxy Nose Zahra at Megahra, pretty cream with unfortunate stains around her eyes & was not totally happy with her front construction but the rest is OK. Good bone & feet. Better going away than coming towards; 3 Norkett’s Applebanks Skye At Midnight. PB (0). JB (2) 1 Hamer & Hamer’s Clarmers Diamond Bear, very typical in head with eyes which tone with her pretty chocolate colour. In between coats. Nicely boned & well ribbed. Good tailset. Could be a bit wider in front which was clear on the move. OK going away. PGB (3) 1 Dyer’s Oberitz Sinful Delights at Javarm, nice type brown who is particularly well balanced. Good topline & tail, moved out nicely, stood a bit awkward in front at times but very attentive; 2 Hamer & Hamer’s Clarmers Gems ‘A Diamond, I really liked this girl except for her outlook. What a shame. Well constructed in front, nice body & bone, good topline & tail, moved reasonably well; 3 Yemm’s Seirian Mrs Brown. LB (1) 1 Hamer & Hamer’s Clarmers Caramel Surprise, liked her immediately coming into a quality cream jacket. Good muzzle & skull ratio, neat ears, dark eyes, good bone, correct structure at both ends with proper angles. Good on the move in both directions & a happy shower. CC, her first I believe. OB (4,1a) 1 Bradbury’s Wychlea Vixen In The Dark, jet black of lovely balance & type. A shade fine in bone but nicely made all round. Lovely expression, good shower & moved nicely. RCC; 2 Hughes & Forrester’s Tymy Quickstep to Candease, another black with balance & style. Not in the best of coats today & does lack angulation at both ends. OK mover; 3 Rogerson’s Terendak Desirabubble.
