Would like to say thank you to all the exhibitors for their entries, there may not have been many spitz but there were some quality spitz & some not so good. I was a little disappointed as some of the dogs let themselves down, & one exhibitor finely decided pick up their RCC. I was very pleased with my final result in both Kleins & Mittels.
MPD, PD & JD (0). YD (1) 1 Beard’s Wyndlee Cam En Bear, brown, still needs to mature, nicely shaped head with good eye & ear placement, front & the back angulation typical of the breed, carried tail well & strode out well on move. PGD (0). LD (1) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Longsdale’s Woody Win, brown, a dog that has taken a long time to mature & still needs a little more time, masculine head of good shape, ear well placed, nicely arched to neck, straight topline with well placed tailset, pleasing outline, little unsettled on the move. OD (6,1a) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Fin Pasifixin Riki Martin, black, well what can I say, this boy came into the ring & just stood out, head of excellent proportion, dark eye of correct shape, ears well placed, moderate length neck, good topline, tail carried well, ample body with good bone, front straight with cat feet, correct texture to coat. Movement on the continental side, overall this boy just filled my eye. CC & BOB; 2 Wright & Halligan’s Nardik Eclipse, black, another very nice dog, correct wedge to head, nicely filled under dark eye, small ear but with his coat brush so high at the back of head spoilt his expression & outline a little, strong shoulder nicely placed with sufficient body, moved out OK, very close to the winner. RCC; 3 Jackson & Minshall’s Holbain Just Like Bill. GCD (1) 1 Spence’s Stormavon Sandpiper with Spencerian, cream, not in good coat, head OK, surprised to see he still had back dew clews, did his best for his handler.
MPB (1) 1 Conway’s Pommary Day Dreemer for Suzitzu, black, very naughty, her first show but managed to go over her, lovely head, dark eye, well bodied with good bone, very erratic on the move. PB, JB & YB (0). PGB (2,1) 1 Garwood’s Buffmyster Star Of The Show, b/w parti, neat little girl, nicely marked, feminine, head with correct wedge, good eye & ear gave lovely expression, well placed shoulder, straight front, well bodied, moved soundly around the ring. RCC. LB (1) A. OB (2) 1 Garwood’s Printzagems Tantalize, black, very smart eyecatching bitch, dark eye, well placed neat ear, very feminine wedge head, well placed shoulder with sufficient bone & body, moved with grace keeping her shape around the ring, pleased to give her BCC; 2 Hamer, Hamer & Cree’s Ch Clarmers Caramel Surprise. GCB (1) Withheld, I withheld this bitch because she would not let me assess her, I ask for her to be moved so she may settle & tried again to no avail, although you judge on Standard, it was a GC as well, one wonders?
