Critique

I would like to thank the Committee of the German Spitz Club Of Great Britain for their hospitality and my Stewards for their help. I was delighted that my BOB, Ch Longsdale ‘s Dilemma went BIS and that my BP, Radajasa’s Greta Zelle was awarded BPIS. A couple of dogs who need to gain confidence and one dog that really wasn’t happy at being examined so was penalised accordingly, all other dogs displayed the true spitz temperament.

Veteran Dog (2 1abs) Ch Oberitz Cosmopolitan At Holbain, 15 ½ years old cream, lovely to see this oldie enjoying his day out, correct head, neat well placed ears, excellent tail set, in good condition, steady mover, very attentive to his handler and a credit to his owners.

Minor Puppy Dog (1) Radajasa Casanova, attractively marked sable & white parti, just 6 months old, pleasing head & expression, good eye, straight front, neat catlike feet. Needs to settle on the move and I hope he has finished growing.

Puppy Dog (2) 1st Indizak Shades Of Winter In Candease, attractive puppy, correct head giving desired expression, correct bite, good bone & substance, well-schooled in showmanship, steady mover. 2nd Indizak Red Winter, orange with coat of the correct texture, wedge shape head, neat ears & good tail set, appealed for breed type but needs more confidence on the table & did not settle on the move.

Junior Dog (4, 1abs) 1st Kelmarin It’s A Wookiee At Georgeglen, substantial well balanced brown, correct wedge shape head, neat ears, good front, level topline, typy throughout, excellent muscle tone, not in full coat but what he had was of the correct texture, attentive to handler. 2nd Indizak Fields of Winter, orange, ample bone & substance, dark eye, correct ear placement, neat catlike feet, happy chap who needs to settle on the move. 3rd Chilite Pima Indian.

Post Graduate Dog (2, 1abs) 1st Longsdale Devil In Disguise With Trebttyn. Compact white dog with excellent black pigment, correct bite, dark eye, well bodied with good bone & substance, neat, well used ears, presented a square & balanced outline, shown in quality coat of correct texture.

Limit Dog (2) 1st Jansanleis He Rocks My Boat To Claran, masculine cream dog, wedge shape to head, correctly placed & well used ears, good front, level topline, excellent tail set, brisk mover, just needs more coat to complete the picture. 2nd Indizak Hakuna Matata At Louchelle, cream sable, compact smaller framed dog, good bite, correct texture to coat, attentive to handler and good on the move, preferred head and overall bone & substance of winner.

Open Dog (4, 1abs) 1st & CC Ch Holbain Just Like Bill. Mature cream dog, presented a square & balanced outline, masculine head with neat, correct ear placement, dark eye/pigment which gives desired expression, correct bite, well laid shoulder, excellent tail set, correct texture to coat, ample bone & substance. Was unsettled and distracted at times but did sufficient to win the class and CC. 2nd & RCC Goldritz Stole The Sun, exuberant, showy, mature cream dog, beautifully presented in full coat of the correct texture, similar comments apply as for 1st but despite being given several chances simply refused to settle and co-operate with his handler on the move in the class. 3rd Chilite Shooting Star

Veteran Bitch (3) 1st Ch Lusam Parti Popper ShCM, 11 year attractively marked parti, square balanced outline, feminine head giving desired expression, short coupled, excellent tail set, hard muscular condition and out moved some of the younger dogs on the day. 2nd Edburton Llyngoes At Cyfelin, 11 year old sable, shown in excellent coat & good condition, firm body, good front, attentive to handler both moving & standing, 3rd Dajelilne Kiss N Tell From Indizak

Puppy Bitch (1) Radajasa Greta Zelle, BP & BPIS well grown 6 months sable & white parti, attractively marked, typical head, excellent neat ears, good front, bone & substance, moved well for one so young.

Junior Bitch (3, 1abs) 1st Claran Daydreaming, 2nd Printzagems Third Degree By Wychlea

Post Graduate Bitch (7, 1abs) 1st Oberitz Happy Hour Von Wilzhund, caught my eye as soon as she entered the ring, feminine bitch with excellent bone & substance, square balanced outline, correct head with sweet expression, neat well used ears, level topline, presented in gleaming condition with coat of the correct texture, pushed hard for CC but had begun to fade a little in challenge and not as positive in front action as CC winner, RCC, 2nd Jansanleis Hope N Glory, cream bitch, correct head, neat ears, straight front, attentive to handler & showed well, 3rd Cyfeline Pease Blossom

Limit Bitch (8, 1abs) 1st Nosregor Lies N Deceit black bitch, well-constructed with typy head & expression, good bite, straight front, level topline, cat like feet, shown in firm condition, moved OK but not as animated as the CC & RCC winner, 2nd Longsdale Leave A Little Luv, attractive, pretty sable bitch, smaller than I would prefer but so well constructed, ultra-feminine head, neat ears, attentive to handler & a brisk mover, 3rd Cyfelin Solitaire

Open Bitch (6, 1abs) 1st CC, BOB & BIS Ch Longsdales Dilemma stunning black bitch, beautifully presented as always from this kennel, balanced square outline, feminine head with lovely expression, correct eye, neat well used ears, straight front, well laid shoulder, excellent tail set, neat cat like feet, firm body with good muscle tone brisk mover with correct texture to coat, totally at one with her handler, never stopped showing & simply demanded the CC & BOB. So, pleased she went BIS later in the day. 2nd Oberitz Firebee, mature black bitch, another with pleasing head, straight front, well bodied, level topline, lacking a little in coat but what she had was of the correct texture, brisk mover who was attentive to handler, 3rd Lusam Toodle Pip
