Critique
German Spitz Breeders & Owners Club held an Open show where BIS was It Ch Clarmers Diamond Mischief, Klein; RBIS, Oh My God av Ostretunet; Mittel; & BP, Nixtev Wolfrick, Mittel.
Many any thanks to the Officers & Committee of this show for inviting me to judge these charming breeds & for the hospitality shown. Temperaments were excellent, & the exhibitor’s sportsmanship was very evident. I found that movement on a few was not the best & 2 exhibits had level bites. Only one Mittel lifted the measure a little, in fact in bitches I would have liked more size. The Klein entry was extremely poor but this was offset by an excellent Mittel entry & only 2 absentees.
KLEINS – JD (1) 1 Beard’s Wyndlee Cam Enbear, 17 months choc/red. Pleasing head with good eye & well placed ears. Short coupled making for nice balance & conformation. Level topline & moved well both ways. RBD. OD (2,1a) 1 Harmer’s It Ch Clarmers Diamond Mischief, 2 years black who was my star of the day. He caught my eye immediately with his super outline & balance. Lovely head, dark eye, good pigmentation, well used ears, harsh coat, with nick neck into well placed shoulders & excellent well ribbed body & substance. Held his topline very well, moved well both ways & presented in tip-top condition. BD, BOB & BIS.
OB (2,1) 1 Harmer’s Ch Clarmers Caramel Surprise, 5 years cr/s with lovely feminine head set off by good ear placement, dark eye, good pigment, nicely boned, with good conformation & plumage & moved out well and. Although she stood alone, was very worthy of BB & RBOB.
