Critique

I am sorry for the delay in submitting the critiques. An incident had been recorded on my voice recorder and it was needed elsewhere but it has now been returned to me. Thank you to the committee for the invitation and to my excellent stewards for their attention. It was not a large entry but I had some super dogs in both sizes. Thank you exhibitors for the opportunity to judge your dogs.
I am not a fanatic about size at either end of the spectrum but found quite a few dogs in both sizes pushing the measure or lifting it. In general I will prefer a well balanced dog pushing the measure to an unbalanced short legged one going under it, but it is something to be mindful of as it ever was Temperaments were excellent and though some dogs were out of coat most had enough to gauge the quality.

PD (2 1) 1 Mrs V A Dyer & Mrs S Orr Musique Wishful Thinking. Good start to the day with this very attractive stand alone well developed brown puppy. Square in outline, does not need to grow any more but may well drop a little when his front settles. Correct head pattern with flat skull, good eye shape but could be a tad darker, and well set nice size ears. Front needs to settle a little but plenty of time. Ribs well sprung, and well ribbed up, . Tail, well set and carried. Good rear angulation, A bit bouncy on the move so not easy to assess but saw enough. More closely knit than the best bitch puppy at present which gave him BPIB
JD (2 ) 1 Musique Wishful Thinking 2 Mr R & Mrs L Sutherland Chilite Chogan Black dog of middle size, deeper in stop than 1, neat ears. Eye could be more oblique, good body proportions and well knit. Angulation was well balanced and movement OK side on but a bit close going away. Well coated.
PGD (1 ) 1 Chilite Chogan
LD (2 ) 1 Mrs J Misses L & S Moir Jansanleis Loud 'n' Proud. White dog of nice size with excellent head proportions, dark oblique eyes, well set ears and good pigmentation. Balanced angulation giving strong steady movement in all directions. Well presented spotless coat of good texture and length. RDCC Just lost out on maturity for DCC.
2nd: Chilite Chogan
OD (2 1) 1Mrs C L Hull Wyndlee Cam En Bear With Clarmer. Stood alone but on handling I was impressed with this dogs all over quality. almost square in outline, balanced head with broad flat skull well set ears and good eye shape, good bite and fill in. Strong neck fitted well into his excellent shoulders and straight front, qualities that are hard to find Correct bone for size and neat feet. Mature body with spring of rib and broad loin. Well ribbed up. excellent muscled rear angulation... He carried his tail well and all this with his sound and purposeful movement in all direction gave him the DCC
: VB (3 2) 1 Mr R & Mrs Trendle Ch Lusam Parti Popper Sh.CM Have judged this evergreen Parti girl before and delighted to see her again. Loved her all over qualities of balance and excellent body properties. Harsh texture to her double coat and an attractive head and outlook. Moved out well.
PB (1) 1 Mrs R Godridge Isilme Lady Of Rivendale Promising sable, nice head with good proportions of muzzle to skull, well set ears could be smaller. Dark eye could be more oblique. Correct set on of neck and well angled shoulder. Development of body reasonable for age. Firm muscled rear and moved out well. Another who may settle in size as she develops.
JB (2) 1 Mrs F Grayer Radajasa's Nancy Wake At Delgray. Attractive white, correct outline with feminine head and expression. nice eye, ears could be a tad small but most importantly they were well set. Excellent pigmentation.. Stands well behind. and has a good side gait carrying herself proudly with firm topline.2 Mrs Y Hall Nardik Inky Dinky Doo Different smaller type, brown and white parti, not so well up on the leg, feminine expression but deeper in stop than 1. nice body and moved out well.
PGB (7 2) 1 Mrs S Bakers Clarmers Ruby Red. Brown bitch with an attractive head and expression, good balance of muzzle and skull, well set ears, neck fits well into her shoulders, good set on of tail. Well muscled with balanced angulation which allowed her to sail around the ring holding her topline and pushing the RCC winner hard. 2 Mrs R Godridge.Isilme Dazzle Me Lots to like about this sable girl with a strong balanced head and dark eye. Good outline, neat front and muscled quarters. Well set tail, moving soundly and holding her topline. 3 Mrs & Miss Tullis Radajasa's Greta Zelle
LB (2 2)
OB (3 ) 1 Mrs & Miss J & R Tullis. Ch and Ir Ch Radajasa Double Agent Nyx. Cracking white bitch, neat and compact standing foursquare with great outline, lovely feminine and balanced head with broad skull and good foreface, excellent pigment and dark eyes, nice size and set on of ears, strong neck and good shoulders and straight front with neat feet. Mature well rounded body and short strong loin, tight tail set and firm well angulated quarters with hocks well let down. Sparkling coat and condition, Sound mover in all directions and fully aware of her importance she just edged out the DCC winner to gain BOB.2 Mrs R Godridge Lusam Teazy Weazy Another I have judged before as a youngster and she has matured into a lovely feminine compact bitch with a broad skull and good foreface skull balance, lovely dark eyes Well set ears.. Good neck and shoulders and solid mature body Good balance of angulation front and back and good bone. Can lose concentration but pulled it all together in the challenge to show off clean sound movement to win the RCC.3 Messrs Francis and Pearce and Mrs. K Quin Longsdale Leave A Little Luv
