Critique
GERMAN SPITZ - KLEIN
Always a pleasure to judge the breed. I found more than a few which were too low on the leg for breed balance taking away from the square or almost square requirement. Many thanks to my stewards, Barry McCartney and Mike Harris.
PD 1 Pearce & Francis' Longsdale's Blame It On Me. quality 7 mths cream, well boned and with good head, his ears could be a little smaller, in good coat, at the moment a little long for balance, dark eyes which are a little large, moved briskly and accurately.
JD (4) 1 Sutherland's Cyfelin Man In Black. 14 mths black, best for balance in this class and carries his good outline, he needs to firm up in front, his handler could make more of him in presentation and on the move, but I liked him for his squareness, eyes and general type, coat texture just coming in. 2 Pearce & Francis' Longsdale Heat Of The Moment. 11 mths brown, presented in lovely form, he scores in head, eyes and ears and has a very good body and coat. A little longer than the winner and at the moment his movement is narrow, but full of quality. 3 Jackson & Minshall's Perrymere Just Bertie.
PGD (3) 1 Rogerson's Nosregor Willhe Doo. 2 yrs old white dog of excellent balance with correct outline, good head and eyes and ears. I'd prefer just a touch more bone but he has enough for his size, very good rear movement, could be firmer in front. 2 Andrew's Claran Kiwi. 3 yrs, wolf sable, a touch longer for balance, he is a good mover at both ends and has excellent coat texture, stop a little too pronounced. I preferred the head and proportions of the winner. 3 Hayward's Chilite Desert Fox.
LD (5) 1 Dyer & Orr's Musique Wishful Thinking JW. 2 yr old brown dog appealed for balance and stride which is typical and accurate, squarely built, he has a good head but his ears are a little large, in good coat, won Res CC on balance and front action. 2 Mole's Bob Th
e Soldier At Molead. Parti, almost 2 yrs old, squarely built and moves accurately, he hasn't the finish of body or the tailset of the winner, good ears and eyes, a little deep in stop. 3 Sutherland's Chilite Chogan. OD (6, 2) 1 Lewis' Indizak Hakuna Matata At Louchelle ShCM. 4 yr old shaded cream dog of excellent balance, not in full coat but I liked his movement, head and ears and carriage. Won CC, his second. Full of type, just needs finish to his coat and should gain his title. 2 Serman's Ch Printzagems Late Arrival For Tymy. 3 yr old black, a little shorter on the leg than the winner and not quite as accurate in front but I liked his head and eyes and chest. 3 Dyer's Ch Oberitz Curiousity At Javarm.
PB (4) 1 Orr's Radajasaes Black Pearl With Sobriety. 8 mth old black. I liked for her squareness, bone and carriage, her ears could be a little smaller and she can tighten a little in front, full of type. 2 Allison's Oberitz Out Of The Shadows. 8 mths cream, a very good mover and scored in ears, she looks a little long for balance at the moment but is full of quality and destined to do well. 3 Moir's Jansanleis Sheez Sassi NAF.
JB (1) 1 Moon's Galvizach Ellexia. 13 mths, squarely built with good chest and ribbing and topline, good skull and ears, her eyes are a little round, tends to crab on the move.
PGB (4, 1) 1 Godridge's Isilme Dazzle Me. 3 yrs wolf sable, she is a little heavy in body and a touch long for balance, but scored heavily in movement and carriage, her ears are a little wide set and eyes a little bold. 2 Bayliss' Kysiena She Who Wears Fur At Karmajen. 2 yr old parti, scored in head and ears but not confident on the table or settled on the move, a pity. 3 Moxon's Chilite Cochina At Thirldene.
LB (4) 1 Andrew's Claran Court Of Dreams. 18 mths, stood out here for balance and movement, very good headpiece and good eyes and ears, not in full coat but full of breed type, Res CC, close up and should gain her title. 2 Hall's Nardik Inky Dinky Doo. 2 yr old parti, well boned and squarely built with good leg length. I liked her head but not the eyes or ears of the winner, good mover, a little more neck would help her. 3 Rogerson's Nosregor Girl Almighty.
OB (5, 2) 1 Bradbury's Ch Wychlea Purple Image. 19 mths black, beautiful shape, square and balanced by good leg length. Good head shape and good eye shape. To be hyper critical, she could be a shade darker in the eye but this is trivial in comparison to her many qualities. Not in full coat and her tail could be thicker but I loved her for type and quality. CC and BOB. 2 Wright's Orion Chloe May. 3 yrs cream, larger bitch with very good head and eye, a good mover, she will look more balanced when back in coat, carries herself well. 3 Rogerson's Ch Nosregor Lies N Deceet.
