Critique
A small entry but luckily some quality Spitz were present. Dog CC and BOB was a first for him, at his first ever show too I was informed. Bitch CC a well deserved third and qualifying CC
PGD (2) ABS: 0
1ST: DYER’S LONGSDALE KNIGHTSHADE AT JAVARM Good size and has a pleasing “Spitzy” head. A nice wedge shape to skull and muzzle, defined stop, with tightly fitting lips. Enough neck, angulation correctly moderate all through. Carried his tail well, high set and nicely curled. Just enough coat.
2ND: GARDNER’S GALVIZACH MANDALA AT DARAYDALA Masses of coat which was well groomed, harsh and double in perfect condition. Has a slight tendency to side-wind moving, and unfortunately he looked oversize for a Klein. Shown beautifully and in great condition.
LD (2) ABS: 0
1ST: GRAYER’S RADAJASA'S HENRI FIOCCA AT DELGRAY CC BOB A cracker, alert and showing extremely well. Good head and his eyes were oval and dark, Neat, truly erect ears, good in front, bone and feet of the best. Level back, short firm loin, Excellent tail, really good straight action showing the bustling movement so much desired. In the most beautiful gleaming, sparkling coat too!
2ND: SUTHERLAND’S CYFELIN MAN IN BLACK Teeth badly need attention, they were really dirty. Otherwise a pleasing head and eyes, good sharp expression. Looked good for size but no measuring today. In lovely coat for the time of the year. Tail well over a good topline. Moving very close in rear but perfectly sound in front action.
OD (4) ABS: 0
1ST: CHAMBERS MUSIQUE BORN LEGACY RES CC Smart boy, showing his square outline off beautifully. Stands on good legs and feet, short coupled, high set tail. Excellent moderate angulation. In magnificent coat, and he moved well all round. Should make up to champion easily. Half brother to the B CC I see.
2ND: BAYLISS KYSIENA CHANT OF THE DREAM AT KARMAJEN True Spitz head and expression, not quite the verve on the move as above, and can drop his tail. Lovely boy to go over, and has a particularly harsh coat in good order.
3RD: JACKSON & MINSHALL’S PERRYMERE JUST BERTIE
OB (5) ABS: 1
1ST: CHAMBERS MANZAMAS MADE WITH PRIDE CC Smart bitch, has a lovely sharp expression, Is a good little mover and well bodied up too. Good solid bone for size, and in enough coat for a summer show. Nice proportions and she looked really well compared to the dog CC, who I must admit to falling for in a big way!
2ND: BAYLISS REFLECTIONS OF FAME RES CC Small of good type, was not impressive on the table, but she comes alive on the floor, and was moving truly and with the brisk stride desired. Excellent bitch all through, Not quite in coat on the day.
3RD: ANDREW’S CLARAN COURT OF DREAMS
