It was an honour to be asked to judge German Spitz Kleins at LKA. I would like to thank the Committee, Stewards and all that entered for making it a great and memorable day. Both my Dog and Bitch CC winners I have admired since puppies and have followed their progress from the ringside over the years. It was pleasing to find that they did not disappoint me once I went over them on the table. I was very pleased with my Best of Breed and congratulate him for a faultless display in the Group Ring. He is an excellent example of this wonderful breed of ours.
I hope everybody has a safe Christmas and New Year and that you are all able to fulfill your goals and expectations in the forthcoming show season next year.
Again, I would just like to take this opportunity to remind exhibitors of both Mittels and Kleins as to the preparation of your dog’s coats for the Show Ring. Quote from the KC Breed Standard. “This is not a trimmed breed and any evidence of trimming and shaping, other than the tidying of feet, anal area and legs below the hocks, is unacceptable and should be penalised.”

1. 6061 Oberitz Opportunity (Allison) A 3 year old brown male of good size, good wedge shaped head, small erect ears and correct dentition. Clean neck well set into shoulders, square in profile, well off for bone good coat of correct texture. Moved well in side profile but close at the back. Bold lively temperament, full of character which made hard work for his handler.

1. 6066 Nardik Wizzard (Beck) A 3 year old cream sable male, correct wedge shaped head, small erect ears and correct dentition. A moderate reach of neck into firm level topline with a high tailset. Long in profile, well off for bone good coat of correct texture. Moved well in side profile but close at the back.

1. 6074 Radajasa’s Henri Fiocca at Delgray (Grayer) A 2 year old White male of good size and breed type, Excellent head qualities with a keen attentive expression, correct pigment, ears set good and alert. Strong neck of good length but not over done leading into well set shoulders. Tailset high and well feathered, coat of correct texture, nice square conformation excellent rear angles. Sound from all directions and moved with a brisk, effortless gait, presented in tip top condition with good muscle tone. DCC BOB
2. 6077 Ch. Nosregor Willhe Surprise Ya (Rogerson) A 2 year old black male with the darkest of eyes, well pigmented, correct bite and ear carriage. Clean neck well set into shoulders, square in profile, well off for bone good coat of correct texture, with a high tailset, Moved well in side profile, good forward reach but lacking rear drive. RDCC

1. 6083 Lusam Cheeky Boy (Trendle) A large 7 year old cream male, correct head shape and dentition, dark clear eyes, ears could be smaller to advantage, profuse coat in good condition, stands slightly longer in body that is ideal but moved well when settled.

1. 6080 Fecimus Having A Giraffe (Shepherd) A 10 month old shaded black bitch, good wedge shaped head, small erect ears and correct dentition. Clean neck well set into shoulders, square in profile, well off for bone good coat of correct texture. Bold lively temperament, full of character. Moved briskly around the ring. BP

1. 6078 Nosregor Sister Sledge (Rogerson) A 16 month old cream bitch of good size and breed type, correct shaped head, darkest of eyes, well pigmented, correct bite and ear carriage. Strong neck of good length but not over done, leading into a firm level topline. Tailset high and well feathered. Good forward reach and strong drive from the rear, moved soundly around the ring.
2. 6063 Claran Black Diamond (Andrew) An 18 month old black bitch, correct wedge shaped head, small erect ears and correct dentition. A moderate reach of neck into firm level topline with a high tailset. Long in profile, well off for bone good coat of correct texture. Moved well in side profile but close at the back.

1. 6082 Fecimus One of Us (Slack) A 3 year old orange sable female of superb type. Excellent head qualities with a keen attentive expression, correct pigment, ears set good and alert. Strong neck of good length but not over done leading into well set shoulders. Tailset high and well feathered, coat of correct texture, nice square conformation excellent rear angles. Sound from all directions and moved with a brisk, effortless gait a rarity in this breed at the moment, presented in tip top condition with good muscle tone. BCC RBOB
2. 6070 Oberitz Sweet N’ Spicy for Pavoskas (Cooper) a petite 5 year old brown female, good wedge shaped head, correct eye shape and ear set, alert expression, correct pigment for coat colour. Nice shape and well balanced outline, well off for bone good coat of correct texture. Moved well in side profile but close at the back.

1. 6073 Radajasa’s Nancy Wake at Delgray (Grayer) A 5 year old white female that possesses some very good quality, lovely head and expression, strong neck of good length but not over done leading into a firm level top line. Tail set high and well feathered, correct coat, moved soundly and with style at all times, lovely to go over, good front & fore chest, well boned legs & tight feet, lovely body & enough rear angulation. Neat brisk mover with a particularly good front & side gait. Pushed hard for the CC, Well handled and presented. RBCC
2. 6071 Longsdale’s Little Bird with Ferrybelle (Ferry) A petite 5 year old orange sable bitch good wedge shaped head, small erect ears and correct dentition. Clean neck well set into shoulders, square in profile, well off for bone good coat of correct texture. Good forward reach and but moved close at the rear, moved briskly around the ring.

Class 1783 Veteran Bitch (1:0a)

1. 6084 Lusam Toodle Pip Sh.CM (Trendle) This pretty 10 year old, grey sable lady, still has not lost any of her sparkle. A lovely expression, correct pigment, ears could be smaller. Compact body, level topline, tailset and carriage, good coat texture. Moved well, still a real credit to her owner, her exuberance would still put some youngsters to shame. BV
