OUR DOGS would like to apologise to the exhibitors and judge for the late publication of the following critique.

I would like to thank the committee for their invitation to judge both German Spitz Klein and Mittel but also to thank the two ring stewards for the efficient and faultless way they carried out their role. The Breed Standard for both being the same with the exception of their height and as such they remain one of the only ones to be measured whilst judging.

Klein PD (2). 1.Chambers – Bemojo Pearls of Wisdom at Musique (Naf.Taf). Smart young man proportionately built showing in good coat. Well placed shoulders with firm top line maintained throughout. Smooth effortless action true fore and aft with good ground coverage. 2.Godridge – Isilme No Rupologies. Well made but too much of him for me. Sound movement.

JD (1). 1.Pearce & Dale – Longsdale’s Cesar Chance. A well balanced and attractive young man showing in good coat. Typical spitz head with correct eyes and well placed ears carried erect. Firm top line with good bone and muscle tone. Correct angulation giving a positive and easy action. Was a close contender for the CC but pleased to award him the RCC.

OD (7). 1.Pearce & Dale – Ir.Ch. & Ch. Longsdale’s Cool Rider. A beautiful and striking example of the breed, excellent coat carried on a strong frame with good angulation and sound top line. Balanced head with expressive eyes and neat well placed ears. Effortless and flowing movement with good ground coverage. A worthy winner of the dog CC. and Best of Breed. 2.Pearce & Dale – Ch. Longsdale’s Blame It On Me. Difficult to split these two but No.1 showed slightly better on the move. 3.Chambers – Ch. Musique Born Legacy.

VD (1). 1.Jackson & Minshall – Ch. Holbain Just Like Bill. At 10yrs. but defying the years and showing in good coat, soundly made with alert expression and good ear carriage. Correct action and ground coverage. Best Veteran.

PB (2) 1.Pearce & Dale – Longsdale’s No More The Fool. Lovely expression showing alert all time with balanced head and good ear placement, carriage. Well put together with ample bone and substance, sound true movement. Deserved winner of RCC. Out performed her rival in the challenge – Best Puppy. 2.Godridge – Isilme La La Vhoom. As for her litter sibling, soundly put together but too much overall for me.

JB (1) 1.Shepherd - Attractive bitch well furnished with ample substance and bone. Firm top line, correct angulation giving sound brisk action.

LB (2). 1.Shepherd – Cyfelin Catch A Falling Star For Fecimus. Smart bitch showing in full coat with alert expression. Well made with good angulation ample bone and substance. Sound positive movement. 2 Slack – Fecimus One Of Us. Took time to settle being a little nervous on the table. A well balanced girl with proportionate bone and good coat. Moved out well.

OB (4). 1.Ferry Longsdale’s Little Bird With Ferrybelle. Well balanced with attractive outline. Good head with alert expressive eyes, well set ears. Correct bone and muscle tone with well placed shoulder giving good angulation. Sound top line with smooth and positive movement. Pleased to award her the bitch CC. (I believe this was her third – well done). 2.Shepherd – Miss Natasha Fecimus The Good Fairy. Nicely balanced presenting good overall picture. Full coat with sound bone and construction, producing good movement. 3.Wright – Orion Chole May.
