Critique
Many thanks to one of the unsung heroes of our hobby, my lady steward who did a superb job single handedly and kept the ring running very smoothly and correctly. It makes a judges job so much simpler and easier.
Puppy Dog (1)
1st Pearce & Francis Longdales Luv Mr More (NAF) 7 month cream. One for the future with lovely head and eye, well placed and well used ears, excellent rib and body for one so young, tight feet and super tail carriage and moved well both ways for Best Puppy in Breed.
Junior Dog (1)
1st Chambers & Chambers & Gepp-Cox Bemojo Pears of Wisdom at Musique. 14 month white with pleasing head, dark eye and nicely set ears. Good bone, spring of rib and tail and moved well. A little wary on the table but regained his confidence on the floor.
Graduate Dog (1)
1st Moore Pommary Silver Surfer 3yrs cream/sable Nicely proportioned head with dark eye. Expression spoilt by flying his ears at times but true front assembly, well balanced and moved out OK.
Post Graduate Dog (1)
1st Moore Pommary Mark My Word 4yrs red/sable Good head, well constructed with good eye. Lovely overall shape with good rib set off by nice tail carriage and moved out OK both ways
Open Dog (6) 2 absent
1st Pearce & Francis Ch Longdale’s Blame It On Me 4yrs cream and one of my stars of the day. Excellent well proportioned head and skull, dark eye set off by super ear placement, good neck into body of substance with super spring of rib, short coupled and super topline with good front assembly, tight feet and perfect movement for CC and BOB
2nd Pearce and Francis Ch/Ir Ch Longdales Cool Rider 4yrs Black and yet another beauty being short coupled of excellent balance all set off by lovely head, eye and ears. Straight front and nice neck into super body & topline. A good tail set ensured a lovely overall picture and covered the ground well.
3rd Jackson & Minshall Ch Perrymere Just Bertie JW
Veteran Dog (2) 1 absent
1st Pearce & Francis Ch Longdales Willie Win JW 11yrs Well balanced head, correct shape and colour of eye, super ears, full dentition, good neck into short coupled body with nice rib and level topline and straight front and moved out like a youngster for RCC
Special Beginners Dog (1)
1st Moore Let Rumour Begin 5yrs cream/sable with good overall balance and spring of rib with good tail set all set off by nice head and true front assembly. Moved well and very attentive to his handler.
Puppy Bitch (2) 1 absent
1st Pearce & Francis Longdale’s Remember Me (NAF) 7 month chocolate with well proportioned head, correct shape of eye, nice ear placement, well bodied with excellent tail and overall balance. Front movement still needs to tighten up but time is very much on her side.
Junior Bitch (1)
1st Pearce & Francis Longdale’s No More the Fool 12 month cream and another with lovely head, eye and ears. Nice flow of neck into correct front, well boned and good body and topline. I just felt she moved better at front than rear today.
Limit Bitch (2)
1st Slack Fecimus One of Us 4yrs orange/sable eye catching lady with lovely head, and dark eye. I just felt her ears were a little wide apart but very attentive with nice neck into well balanced body with correct topline and good tail carriage. Super bone and straight front assembly. Moved out well for RCC
2nd Rogerson Nosregor Sister Sledge 2yrs cream with well balanced head good eye and ear and another that was very attentive. Overall good balance & topline and moved out well.
Veteran Bitch (1)
1st Pearce & Francis Ch Longdale’s Jen You Win JW ShCM an unbelievable 13yrs of age. What a star. Cream bitch with excellent head of correct proportions, dark eye, super ears, well used and still full dentition. Short coupled with excellent neck and topline. Good chest and straight front with nice bone. Super outline set off with lovely tail carriage and moved extremely well over the ground for CC and Best Veteran in Breed. Also pleased to see she went Res. Best Veteran in Show.
