German Spitz Breeders and Owners Club    Open Show 30^th July 2023

My thanks to the Officers and Committee. I was a replacement judge on the day! I wish Miss H Hall a speedy recovery, My appointment for this club was booked for next year and as I was present on the showground having judged for Leeds the previous day, I was delighted to accept. It does make for a long day for the exhibitors especial when your breed is second in the ring and you are also waiting for the judge who is judging another breed in an adjacent ring.

Puppy Dog, 1 entry
1st, Claran Court Your Breath, 10 months old cream of good size, head properties are yet to develop, having said that his construction is excellent with a well laid shoulder and good forechest, well ribbed with strong short loin and well set tail. He has a perfect scissor bite with strong even teeth and a well balanced head. A dog I would like to see again when he is mature, Reserve Best Puppy

Junior Dog, 1 entry
1st, Claran Court You Looking for Musique, 10 months old cream puppy, litter brother to winner of previous class, well up in size, masculine developing head with nice expression, dark oval eyes, scissor bite, straight front legs, he has lovely feet and bone, a lovely boy that presents a beautiful picture of balance in profile, moves even just a touch high stepping, Best Puppy

Special Yearling Dog, 1 entry
1st, Nosregor Take It All, 15 months old black, he is a beautifully constructed and well knit dog, developing head with dark medium size eyes, small erect ears and tight scissor bite, clean neck into his compact and well ribbed body with a short and strong loin, straight and brisk movement, I was very pleased to award him, Best Dog.

1st, Isilme Nuggetosaurus, 3 ½ years old, a good size cream male who showed well, he has a masculine head, medium size eyes with tear stain, small erect ears and undershot bite, moderate length neck into firm body with big coat, good profile movement going around.

Limit Dog, 2 entries
1st, Bemojo Pearls Of Wisdom at Musique, 22 months old, a most attractive cream dog in lovely coat, masculine head with dark oval eyes and scissor bite, balanced in outline with good length of rib and short loin, he makes a lovely outline when standing and moved well in profile, he is surely ready for top honours, Reserve Best Dog.
2nd, Isilme No Rupologies, 21 months old black that is unfortunately over size fo the measure, masculine head with dark obliquely set eyes and scissor bite, moderate neck into strong body with a big coat, on the move he was crossing his front coming towards me.

Open Dog, 3 entries (1 absent)
1st, CH Musique Born Legacy, 4 ½ years old with a big cream coat and a well balanced masculine head, dark oval shaped eyes and tight scissor bite, moderate length neck into compact body, front legs viewed straight with ample bone, on the move he has good profile and rear movement.
2nd, Wychlea Percy Vehere, 4 years old black lad who is not as compact as winner and lacks chest, masculine head with light eyes that detracts, I would prefer darker, scissor bite, moderate neck into sloping shoulders, harsh double coat, on the move he was crossing his front legs and his rear was even.

1st, Nosregor Easy On Me, 15 months old black, Such a pretty black girl of 15 months with a well laid shoulder and well angulated rear. Her head is very attractive and she had a lovely outline on the move.
Reserve Best Bitch.

Limit Bitch, 2 entries
1st, Isilme  Lusamlegacy, I see this is a repeat mating to the 2nd place. 5 years old sable with dark overlay, feminine wedge shaped head but with big eyes that were dark brown colour, scissor bite, short neck into compact body with huge floor length coat and tail over her back, moved out well.
2nd, Isilme Lady Of Rivendale, 6 years old sable, big oversize female with a strong head, dark oval eyes and scissor bite, strong neck of moderate length into a body of substance, abundant coat with dark overlay, front legs straight with ample bone, on the move she was looking for her mate, so not easy to assess.

Open Bitch, 1 entry
1st, CH Nosregor Sister Sledge, 2 ½  years old, stunning cream girl, she just gleamed. She has such a  well balanced head and a beautiful wedge with no coarseness, a good length and spring of rib and short strong loin. She has brisk and effortless movement and behaved like a star. This girl was in perfect coat and condition and was a joy to go over. Best Bitch, Best of Breed and Reserve Best in Show.

Veteran Bitch, 1 entry
1st, Isilme Dazzle Me, 8 years young sable girl who moved with purpose and showed very well, her head is a little overdone but she is an attractive little lady all through.
