Critique

Thank you to BUBA committee for my appointment and to those attended. I didn’t observe any major issues with in the two sizes of German Spitz but I did find the breed sizes continue to be unstable. German Spitz Klein P (1) Chambers, Bemojo pearls of wisdom TAF, White dog, at just 6 months old he was a joy to meet. Happy, friendly temperament and developing as I would have expected for his age. Moved out happily and briskly, head of correct portions ears well set and of good shape, excellent pigment for colour, a good dark black. Body shape and angulation all good and as expected for a puppy of his age with a well-set tail nicely curved over his back. I’m confident that he will grow on and mature to become a very nice young man. PG (1) Trendle, Lusam cheeky boy, 8-year-old gold dog, Luckily, he will not be growing on anymore, lovely temperament true to the breed and his name. Head in proportions but with a slightly round eye and ears well set on but would have like a little smaller and sharper triangular shape, head was well set on to neck running down to a well-made body good depth of chest and well sprung ribs, straight limbs and lovely bone, well set tail constantly carried well, coat of good texture and consistency. Moved out well pushing from behind helped by his fit condition. Also my RBOB. O (3,1) 1 Chambers, CH Musique born legacy, 3yrs white dog, This dog oozes show presence and obviously loves being in the ring, his sparkling white coat and personality demands you to look at him, head, eye and ears well in proportions shape and angles, good depth of chest and well sprung ribs, good muscle tone and in good condition, nice bone with good feet, good tail set which he carried over his back with pride. Moved out well and correct for construction. Also my BOB. 2 Bradbury & Serman, Oberitz topsy turvy for Wychlea, 8 year old black bitch, a happy friendly lady who used her tail well and very well behaved, well made head and used her ears to her advantage, good length of neck on to a well sprung body and depth of chest, straight limbs and coat of good texture, would have liked a slightly shorter loin, but everything was well balanced and tidy feet. Moved out in her own time which did add a little roll to the movement, this is due to effort applied not construction, but generally a happy friendly laid back lady. 3 Serman, Ch Printzagems late arrival for Tymy, 11yrs Black dog.
