GERMAN SPITZ - KLEIN
VD (3,1) 1 Jackson & Minshalls Ch.Holbain Just Like Bill, cream, lovely for size, bone and substance, typical wedge shaped head, dark oval sparkling eyes, good bite, so well balanced all through, level topline with well set and carried tail, moderate angles fore and aft, beautifully presented with just enough coat not to spoil his outline, moved out briskly and true in all directions holding his topline in profile, hard to believe he is 12 yrs old, Best Veteran in Breed 2 Trendles Lusam Cheeky Boy, Pale gold 10 yrs on the top size of the standard, has much substance and plenty of bone, he scores in head properties but eyes a little rounder than ideal, he presents a nice shape of the breed on the stack, a sound and moderate dog, he didn’t want to use his ears today and I would have liked a bit less undercoat but he moved out briskly and well with good footfall.
PD (1) 1 Huntleys Fecimus Brother Bear At Puidelup, Really liked this young brown male, lovely for size and balanced, correct wedge head of equal skull and muzzle proportions with broad skull narrowing in a wedge shape to the nose, medium oval eyes obliquely set, neat small ears, compact in body and making a nice outline, scored in neck, shoulder and rib, correct tailset and carriage, well presented double coat in excellent condition, moved out briskly, just a tad close behind but good in front, just lost out to the bitch on a bit of showmanship for best puppy.
JD (2) 1 Andrews Claran Court Your Breath, Cream, gorgeous young cream male who captivated me with his beautiful head and expression from the darkest of oval eyes obliquely set,his pigment is amazing being dense and dark, small triangular high set ears completed the picture, he is compact and nice for size with enough bone and substance, well balanced all through he makes a lovely outline on the stack and holds his shape on the move, not in his best coat today but that will grow and I think he is destined for the top drawer. 2 Leroys Pom Of The Gang Little Samurai, red male and very different to 1, on the larger side of the standard with an enormous coat which spoilt his outline, heavy bone, a different head to what we have in the uk being short in muzzle, his ears although erect were too wide apart, good neckline and moderate slope to shoulder, well ribbed up and rounded, well set tail, very well presented and handled, he moved briskly but can firm up in rear movement.
PGD (2) 1 Moores Pommary Court Jester, Red sable, scored in head properties with a well shaped eye, didn’t want to use his ears, correct bite, decent neckline and shoulder, level topline , moderate hind angulation with well let down hocks, out of coat on the day which made him appear a little longer than ideal and didn’t really use his tail to full advantage, however he did move well fore and aft with a good brisk stride. 2 Bayliss Kysiena Lord Montague At Karmajen, Brown/white parti, nice for size and compact in body, liked his head and expression from his oval obliquely set eyes, neat small ears, level topline with correct high tailset, has a good double coat unfortunately he didn’t move well in front or from the rear which cost him the class.
LD (4,2) 1)Rogersons Nosregor Take It All, Black, much admired this male although he was sadly out of coat today, loved his wedge shaped head with dark oval obliquely set eyes which just sparkled, excellent neckline and front, well ribbed up and rounded, level topline and correct tailset and carriage, well balanced quarters, he makes a lovely outline on the stack and moved out briskly and true if a tad close in the rear, one to watch for the future. 2 Radajasa’s Agent Hamish At Brookwell, Cream, chunky boy on top side of the standard, he has a very nice well proportioned head and dark oval eye, moderate angles fore and aft and well ribbed up and rounded, level topline with high set tail, on the heavy side and a huge coat rather hid his shape, moved out well in profile but hind movement let him down.
OD (11) Awesome class of mature males in differing shapes and sizes, splitting hairs between the first 3 champions. 1 Pearce & Francis’ Ch.Longdale’s Blame It On Me, this pale gold headed this amazing class, he makes a wonderful silhouette of the breed, scored in head properties with a correct wedge shape, dense dark pigment, small high set ears perfectly placed, scores in neckline and shoulder with good forehand, level topline and well ribbed up and rounded, moderate tuck up, well balanced quarters with high set tail, expertly presently and handled to extract the very best from him, just the right amount of coat, he moves with brisk effortless action and has excellent carriage which took him to win the DCC, BOB and a fabulous shortlist in the hotly contested utility group. 2 Grayers Ch.Radjasas Henri Fiocca At Delgray, Cream, another top class dog who I much admired, super head, eye and expression with the darkest of pigment, small neat triangular correctly placed ears, clean neckline leading into good forehand, well ribbed up and rounded, well balanced moderate quarters with hocks well let down, high set tail, smothered in an abundance of well presented coat, moved out briskly and well in all directions and pushed one hard RCC 3 Chambers & Gepp-Cox Ch Bemojo Pearls Of Wisdom At Musique, Cream who finished off this lovely trio of champion boys who are all well worthy of their titles, admired his head, eye, ears and expression, dark pigment, scores in outline, so well balanced all through, has an abundance of coat so well prepared, moved out briskly and true in all directions and pushed hard for top spot.
GCDSD (2) 1 Paulsrud Multi Ch.Bandit Vom Raffzahn, B/Tan, very smart showy dog, compact in body, clean neckline and decent forehand, level topline, well ribbed up and rounded, high tail set, enough coat but appears curly and damaged in places, scored on his brisk and free movement, makes a good outline on the stack. 2 L Cheeky Boy - Rpt VB (6,1) 1 Trendles Lusam Toodle Pip, 12 yrs, admired this veteran for size, shape and type and to be honest surprised she was never titled, lovely head properties, nice eye and expression and neat small triangular ears, so well put together and makes a lovely shape on the stack, balanced fore and aft, good bone and substance, excellent ribs and topline with a high set tail, an abundance of coat, would prefer a bit less ideally, she moved really well front and back and deserved to win this class. 2 Kettlewhites Lusam Spic N Span, hard to believe this lady was 15 yrs young, in a very similar style to 1, admired her correct wedge shaped head , clean neckline and decent forehand, firm level topline, balanced fore and aft, high set tail, in good coat and condition, moved out freely in all directions. 3 Paulsruds Nor Ch.Bjonnbekkmoras Romantic Baby Girl, Black/tan, 9 years old and belying her age, super showgirl well presented, compact in body and well balanced fore and aft, level topline and well ribbed, coat was rather curly which isn’t something I have seen on a GS before, she moved out briskly and well.
PB (3) 1 Pearce & Francis Longsdale’s Sweet Nothin’s, Black, very pretty and feminine, loved her head proportions and expression from her dark oval obliquely set eyes, admired her neckline and front assembly, scored in ribs and topline, high set tail and well balanced moderate quarters, beautiful coat and condition, she makes a lovely outline on the stack, moved out briskly and well in all directions displaying lots of personality on the way, Best Puppy In Breed 2 Shepherds Melitabe Lyra, another little beauty who pushed 1 all the way, Grizzle, compact and feminine, so nice for size and balance, good head and eye with neat small ears, clean neckline and well made forehand, well ribbed with moderate tuck up, level topline and well balanced quarters, high set tail, well presented coat in excellent condition, didn’t quite match 1 on the move deciding factor. 3 Allison & Chambers Barbarita Best Beast (IMP LVA) Black with lots to like, correct head proportions with dark oval eye, neat small triangular ears framing her face, makes a nice outline on the stack, well ribbed with level topline and high tail set, well presented and handled, didn’t move as well as above. JB (1) 1 Shepherds Fecimus Butter Me Up, Gold sable, a real showgirl with lots to admire, good wedge shaped head, neat triangular ears well set and carried, clean neckline with good forehand, well ribbed with level topline and high set tail, compact in body she makes a lovely outline on the stack, lacking some coat today, she is a lovely mover from all directions with good carriage and showmanship.
PGB (6,2) 1 Shepherds Fecimus Having A Giraffe, Black, feminine with a very nice wedge head and dark oval eyes, small neat triangular ears which she used well, clean neckline, slightly longer in body, clean neckline with good front assembly, level topline and well set tail and carriage, well ribbed, moderate hind angulation, in good coat and condition, well presented and handled she moved out briskly and well in all directions. 2 Bagshaws Pommary New Beginning, Red sable, scored in head, ears and eyes, clean neckline, nice for size and well balanced all through, moderate angles fore and aft, compact in body, decent forehand and well ribbed, level topline and balanced quarters, let down hocks, sadly out of coat today but moved out briskly and well. 3)Saunders Delgray’s Bootylicious At Brookwell, smaller cream, very feminine, preferred head shape on above 2, nice dark pigment, compact and square in body, level topline, good coat quality, proper little showgirl who moved out briskly and well
LB (5) 1 Pearce & Francis Longsdale’s Remember Me, Brown, beautiful young bitch with much to admire, lovely for size and compact in body, super wedge head, oval eyes compatible with coat colour and obliquely set, neat small triangular ears, clean neckline into excellent forehand, well ribbed, level topline and high set tail, well balanced quarters, expertly presented and handled, super coat and condition, moved out briskly and true, a star in the making and pushed all the way, RCC 2 Morins Pom Of The Gang Chantilly, Dark gold feminine bitch of correct size, head is short in muzzle and not typical in uk, compact in body with a clean neckline, well ribbed up, decent forehand and level topline, balanced quarters, beautifully prepared coat of good texture and in excellent body condition, very well schooled and handled, she moved briskly and well. 3 Bradbury & Godridges Wychlea In The Purple, Black, lovely type of GS with a super head, eye and expression, clean neckline, compact and well balanced all through, well made through front assembly, level topline with correct high tailset, she had enough coat but sadly was very thin today and it cost her a higher placing. OB (8,2) 1 Rogersons Ch.Nosregor Sister Sledge, Really loved this very typical Cream, she makes such a lovely shape of the breed, correct wedge shaped head, neat small triangular ears, dense dark pigment, oval dark eyes obliquely set, super neckline sits cleanly on a well made forehand, small rounded cat like feet, level topline, well ribbed up and rounded, moderate tuck up, balanced quarters with high set tail, ideal for size with good bone and substance, I would have liked a bit more coat today but of course that will grow and nothing was hidden, she moved out briskly and true for her young handler, CC 2 Pascuccis Ch.Quokka Del Monte Odano, Pale gold, compact in body and pristine in coat and condition, nice for size, not quite the head I was looking for, nice eyes, ears and pigment, clean neckline, moderate angles fore and aft, well ribbed up with moderate tuck up and level topline, scored well in movement briskly and true in all directions. 3 Grayers Radajasas Nancy Wake At Delgray, cream, lots to like about this one, compact and nicely put together, decent head, balanced fore and aft, holds a good outline on the stack, very heavy coat and was carrying too much body for ideal, nice for size, moved well.
