GERMAN SPITZ - KLEIN

I would like to thank the exhibitors in both Kleins and Mittels for their fabulous entry and sportsmanship. 
PD (1) 1 Huntley’s Fecimus Brother Bear at Puidelup. 11 month brown who is square in outline and has the required balance throughout. Good head shape with correct pigment for coat colour. Uses his ears well. He has good bone and no exaggerations. Chest good for age. Has good ribs and topline. Presented in good coat and moved well. BP. 
JD (1) 1 Francis, Pearce & Williams’ Longsdale’s Dance with Me Trebettyn. 14 mth I thought this boy was very typical, he is compact with good bone and balanced, moderate angulation front and rear. Head of correct proportions but would prefer his eyes to be slightly less round. Well placed, small ears. Straight front, good feet. Good topline which he retained on the move and correct double coat. RBD. 
PGD (2) 1 Saunders’ Radajasa’s Agent Hamish at Brookwell. 2 yr cream who at first glance appeared long, however, under that double coat, he is virtually square. Good headshape with well placed ears and good eyes. I preferred his forechest and his spring of ribs to 2. Correct topline which he kept on the move. 2 Foster’s Claran Court Your Eye. 19 mth cream who is a good shape. He has good width to his skull, good ears, dark eyes and excellent pigment. Good neck, straight front, still needs to develop in chest. Good topline and tailset. He wasn’t as settled as 1 when moving. 
OD (2) 1 Andrew’s Claran Court Your Breath. 19 mth cream who really caught my eye. Beautifully balanced, no exaggeration. Masculine head without coarseness, well placed ears of good shape and size. Correct eye placement, shape and size. Enough neck. Liked his angulation front and rear, good bone and feet. Well ribbed up, short loin, good topline. Moved effortlessly round the ring. Although he left his coat at home, he deserved his BD & BOB award. 2 Dyer’s Longsdale Knightshade at Javarm. This 4 yr old black also has a typical wedge shaped head, with good width to his skull, good eyes and ears. He has a good neck, good bone, straight front and good feet. Not the balance or rib of 1st. Has a good topline and tailset. 
VB (2) 2 very typey girls of a similar age. 1 Cooper, Cooper & Critchlow’s Oberitz Sweet N’spicy for Pavoskas. 8 yr old brown who has that compact, almost square outline that a German Spitz should have. Balanced, wedge shaped head with dark, oval eyes. Good neck, shoulders and front. Preferred her chest to 2nd. Good rib, topline and tailset. Moved well. 2 Bayliss’ Kysiena She Who Wears Fur at Karmajen. 7.5 yr old brown/white. She also has a balanced outline, good width of skull, high set ears, dark eyes. Good neck and straight front. Preferred the front of 1st. Good double coat. A little unsettled today. 
PB (2) 1 Morgan & Griffiths’ - Gwen Festival at Sharoday - 8 month red of good size and shape. Balanced head with beautiful dark eyes of correct shape. Good neck and shoulders. Straight front with good bone and nice, round feet. Good ribs and topline. Nice bend of stifle. Balanced movement. In good coat. 2 Hickson’s Claran Court of Delights at Kichigai. Lively 6 mth old cream baby who shows a lot of promise. Balanced throughout, head developing nicely with good ears and lovely dark, oval eyes. Good front, bone, topline and tailset. Unfortunately, acted like a typical 6 mth old which made it very difficult to assess movement. I’m sure she will do well in the future. 
PGB (3) 3 very different girls. 1 Foster’s Bemojo Pearls of Honey. 20mth cream who won this class on her overall balance and type. Good head with well placed ears which she holds erect. Good eye shape, colour and placement. She has good shoulders, well ribbed up, level topline and high set tail. Best mover in class. 2 Bagshaw’ Pommary New Beggining. 19 mth red who despite being taller than 1 still nearly square. Muzzle slightly longer than skull, but has good width to her skull, nicely placed ears which she carries well. Correct eye shape, colour and size. Good length of neck, level topline and high set tail. A little long in hock which caused her to move close behind. 3 Morgan & Griffiths’ Ruskies Athena at Sharoday. 
OB (2) 1 Slack’s Ch Fecimus One of Us. 5 yr old red sable who I felt excels breed type. Beautiful, balanced outline, good head with a moderate stop. Well placed ears of correct size. Dark eyes which perhaps are a little too round but still healthy. Correct, moderate angulation front and rear, lovely, small, round feet. Good depth of brisket, well rounded ribs and level topline which she retained when moving. BB. 2 Bayliss’ Reflections of Fame. 7 yr old black. Square in outline with a lovely head and I preferred her eye shape to the winner, however, I preferred the front of 1st. She has good bone, well ribbed up and level topline. Moves well in profile.
