Thank you to the Committee for the invite to judge German Spitz which was my first appointment. The role couldn’t be successfully completed without the support of excellent stewards, which I had. Thank you to all exhibitors to came on a bitterly cold day and made my day special, especially as it was so close to Christmas.

Privileged to be presented with two champions in this class unfortunately there can only be one winner. Movement gave 1st the win today.
1: CH Nosregor Sister Sledge. Eye catching female when stood and in movement. Very feminine head with correct eye shape, ear setting and pigment. Good angulation throughout. Effortless on the move, straight in all aspects of movement. Shown in full harsh coat. Handled extremely well by her young handler working together and getting the best performance from the dog. A pleasure to have been able to go over her.
2: CH Fecimus One of Us. Different in type to winner. Compact in body with a very pleasing outline and balanced throughout. Well-proportioned head with good ear placement and of correct shape. good dark pigment that enhanced the pleasing expression. Covered the ground with drive showing good extension when in profile. Well-muscled. Worked well with her handler.
