Critique
MITTEL: PD (5) 1 Garbutt and Heslop's Nixtev Fyreblade. Promising black presenting excellent outline and the best mover in the class. Substantial bone and tight feet. Well bodied, high ear placement and lovely eye giving the desired expression. 2 Beard's Wyndlee Ghost in my House. Cream with good pigment, eye shape and mouth. Plenty of bone, well ribbed, high tailset. Unsettled on the move. 3 Clayton's Studholme Bronco Kid.
JD (4) 1 Connor's Galvizach Limited Edition. Unusual sable parti pup in superb coat. Not a big dog but well balanced, sound and presenting a good outline. Good rib, bite and bone. High tailset. Showed and presented very well. 2 Hickman's Nosreger Cadberys Dream Boy at Kateandy. Cream, still coming into coat. Another sound mover. Correct bite and head although rounder in eye than the winer. 3 Beard's Wyndlee Ghost in my House.
PGD (10) 1 Beard's Wyndlee Oldharm Prince Eugen. Beautifully balanced orange sable with superb head, dark almond eye and small, neat ears. Well boned and ribbed, high tailset and sound, straight mover. Never stopped showing and should have a bright future. Pleased to award him the CC. 2 Hewett's Runfold the Joker. Attractive cream sable. Very good bone, tailset and rear angulation. Sound movement, although somewhat erratic. 3 Hickman's Nosregor Cadbery's Dream Boy at Kateandy.
LD (9) 1 Rogerson's Nosregor Mystical Myth. The best mover of the class. Cream with good dark pigment all round. Excellent coat, lovely eye shape. High set ears, correct bite and ample bone. A little light in body on the day, but sufficient to secure him the Res CC. 2 Hill's Kilima Chacmool. Similar type cream with a lovely outline and coat. Excellent body and showmanship. Not so settled on the move on the day. 3 Blight's Rosechow Cappachino.
OD (2) 1 Williams' Druitz Benedict Arnold JW. Sable with a good outline. Small neat ears, correct dentition. Well bodied and coated good bone and moved well. Not much enthusiasm for showing on the day which cost him anything further. 2 Rogerson's Only the Lonely. Cobby little black with profuse coat, excellent bone and body. Lovely expression.
PB (7) 1 Garbutt's Nixtev Fyrefly. All monor puppies. Very impressive black with excellent bone and feet. Good eye shape and expression, well set small ears, beautifully behaved and presented. Lovely mover and should have a bright future. Res CC and BP. 2 Clayton's Studholme Kiss An Tell. Cream, not the substance of the winner. Good eye shape, bite and head. Well ribbed with good high tailset. 3 Hazelgrove's Studholme Hugs An Kisses.
PGB (3) 1 Hewett's Runfold Eternal. Black and tan with excellent bone and feet. Beautiful mouth, short coupled with good shoulders. High tailset, plenty of coat. Showed well and moved well in front and a little narrow behind. 2 Briggs' Pennypot Winters Dance. Sable. Lovely bitch in outline and on the move but threw her chances by refusing to be handled on the table. What a pity.
LB (3) 1 King's Flyaway Pipit to Grizwold. Sable with a good outline and sound, straight movement. Ample bone, well ribbed, not in full coat at the moment. 2 Hickman's Wyndlee Mistie at Kateandy. Blue with a good standoff coat, ample bone. Good body and rib, not big but well balanced, spoilt her outline by constantly dropping her tail. 3 Beard's Driftaway Ginsling in Wyndlee.
OB (8) 1 Connor's Ch Galvizach Black Pebbles of Kichigai. Black of no great size but well put together and moving well when settled. Correct head, well laid back shoulders, short coupled with a high tailset, and plenty of coat. Never stopped showing. CC. 2 Garbutt's Ch Runfold Crisis at Nixtev. Cream. Preferred size but refused to use her ears, which somewhat spoilt her expression. Excellent pigment, even lips were black. Beautiful coat and presentation. Good body and condition. 3 Rogerson's Ch Shelayne Minstral Show.
