Critique
MITTEL: PD. (4). 1. Clayton’s, Studholme Bronco Kid. 8 months old cream. Well made, compact and well balanced. Head well formed for age and not overdone with nice eyes and small ears. Good straight front, nicely formed body. Just needs to settle dowm. The best mover by far in this class in spite of his naughtiness. 2. Holland’s, Schojan Dream Maker. 10 months old orange sable coming along well but quite a handful and needing to settle. Very typical head, good eyes and ears. Front can strengthen both standing and moving. 3. Garbutt and Helsop’s, Nixtev Fryeblade.
JD. (2). 1. Powell’s, Desaria Disraeki at Brookwell. RCC. 15 months old cream sable in fantastic coat and condition. Super head, eyes, ears and front. Ideal compact body with good rounded ribs. Moderate rear angulation with sound hocks. Excellent movement both ends and in a brisk gait. Has the quality to go on and get his title. 2. Hickman’s, Nosregor Cadberys Dream Boy at Kateandy. 16 months old cream and another top quality one. Scores well in head and correct shaped eyes, medium length of neck. Good front standing. Quite short in loins, medium bend of stifle. Good coat. Just spoilt by his excessive high stepping action in front.
PGD. (5). 1. William’s, Druitz Brother Dominic. First class black who I made an easy winner here. Scores well in head, eyes and ears. Relatively short neck, good front and feet. Fairly compact in body. Good tail. Nice coat. Moving in good style. 2. Nelmes’s, Druitz General Montgomery. Wolf sable of nice proportions. Scores well in head. Front can still tighten especially on the move. Nice compact body with good ribbing. Sound in backend. 3. Hickman’s, Nosregor Cadberys Dream Boy at Kateandy.
LD (5). 1. Blight’s, Rosechow Cappachino. High class chocolate sable. Super head, eyes, ears and front. Vety compact in body with a good ribcage and short strong loin. Correct rear angulation with sound hocks. Moving with correct brisk action and quite precise both ends. 2. William’s, Druitz Brother Dominic. 3. McBain’s, Willmac Mystical Myth.
OD. (4). 1. Rogerson’s, Only the Lonely. CC. Superb black with excellent balance and very compact in make. Looked an absolute picture standing and was the best mover in the class. Super masculine head, dark oval eyes. Excellent small and well used ears. Medium neck. Ideal body, straight front and correct rear angulation. Champion on the day and well deserved. 2. Powell’s, Ch. Kuseleys Kute Kevin. Cream sable. Has so much to like about him and shown in excellent coat and condition. Pleases immensely in head, eyes, ears and neck. Firm front, nice short loins, good rounded ribs. Correct moderate rear angulation. Tending to move a shade wide in front but still true. 3. Hunter’s, Rossfort Banjaxed.
PB. (6). 1. Sanderson’s, Glavizach Fredrika Danack. BP. 11 months old chocolate. All together with a lovely outline and compact body. In good coat and condition. Head is well developed and nice ribs. Certainly one with a good future assured. Very proficient mover. 2. Garbutt’s, Nixtev Fyrefly. 7 months old black and one with the quality to ensure a good future. Already coming together quite well and has a very nice head and general forehand. Sound in backend . Moves well but not yet as steady as the winner. 3. Lack’s, Abbeyhome Heven Delight.
JB. (2). 1. Lack’s, Abbeyhome Heven Delight. Black well grown with plenty of bone. Scores well in head, eyes and ears. Good front standing but can still tighten here on the move. 2. McLaren’s, Rossfort Indianna. Very feminine wh/blk. Fine head, nice eyes, well used ears. Very finely boned in front. Ok in body, coat and tail Moderate angulation. Rather all over the place on the move.
PGB. (2). 1. Orchard’s, Runfold Fatal Attraction From Spilman. Shaded sable of nice proportions and in brilliant coat and condition. Lovely head, good eyes and ears, correct neck, straoght front. Well bodied, just a shade over coupled. Correct tail, moderate rear angulation. Moving in nice fashion. 2. Briggs’, Pennypot Magic. Ultra fine black of bottom size. Slightly out of coat. Pleases in head qualities. Body and ribs go well with size. Sound enough in rear eand with nice moderate angulation. Could have been a little more positive on the move.
LB. (3). 1. Curson and Hindley’s, Shelaynes Little Show Girl. High class cream of pleasing balance and proportions. Very nice feminine head with expressive dark eyes and well used small ears. Straight front. Just right in body, ribs, couplings and rear angulation. Super plume. Moving in good brisk style and quite true both ends. 2. Briggs’, Pennypot Winters Dance. Blk/cr sable. Nice quality and sound to go over. Not quite the performance, standing and moving compared with the winner on the day. 3. Hickman’s, Wyndlee Mistie at Kateandy.
OB. (5). 1. Rogerson’s, Ch, Shelayne Minstrel Show. CC and BOB and G3. Superb quality black. Very typical all through absolutely sound to go over. Beautiful head, eyes, expression and ears. Medium neck, straight front. Not yet back in full coat but still good enough to take this strong class. One of the best movers in the entry. A really super bitch. 2. Garbutt’s, Ch. Runfold China Crisis at Nixtev. RCC. Top flight cream. Very feminine yet well made all through. Super head, eyes and ears, medium neck, strong straight front. Ideal body and ribs. Quite compact in build with very sound backend. Excellent coat. Took the winner close up. Moved really well but just could not match the winner. 3. Curson and Hindley’s, Ch. Shelayne Showstopper.
