MITTEL

PD (6) 1. Gardner’s Daraydala Secret Squirrel. 10months o/s dog with masculine head/expression. True spitz head type with oval eye set slightly oblique and neat well set & used ears. Overall v good body properties, harsh textured coat, v good tail, excellent rear, just needs to settle in front. RCC and BP. 2. Powell’s Desaria Flash Gordon at Brookwell. B/sable d with excellent conformation/bone and v good body, though not as compact as 1. Another one with excellent rear action, but again not too settled in front action. Ears not used to advantage, so this affects expression. Would like harsher jacket. 3. Clayton’s Studholme Paperback Writer.

JD (1) 1. Hewett’s Runfold Full Frottle with Spellcast. 14mths lad with ‘junior stage’ written all over him! Both body and coat at in-between stages, just needing time to come back into their best. V good front and rear angulation, though would like a bit more compactness of loin. Has alert and active outlook, so correct for this breed and delighted to see it! Typical pigmentation and eye colour for his coat colour, v good ear set and moves well.

PGD (6) 1. Hunter’s Nemo aus dem Norden (Imp). 20mths white with classic spitz outline. Medium sized with balance between body & leg length. Excellent tail set, harsh texture off standing top coat. V good forehand and shoulders, but could strengthen front pasterns just a tad. Head properties excellent with moderate stop, dark oval eye obliquely set, excellent black pigmentation, compact body with v good rear quarters. Not showing his best at times and on the move I felt he could have been moved out better to more effect. Perhaps a handler who could stride out? 2. Saunders’Desario Diablo by Kuseley. Fairly compact body on this gold dog who has pleasing outline. V good to go over, v good coat, excellent tail, dark oval eyes, ears could be a shade higher set. V good movement. 3. Powell’s Desaria Aurelius at Brookwell.

LD (5) 1. Powell’s Kuseley Kloves at Brookwell. 4yrs wolf sable whose preferred size, front construction and movement gave him the class. Lovely body shape covered with harsh correct coat; presents v balanced picture, v good movement and excellent tail. 2. Rogerson’s Nosregor Mystical Myth JW. Cream d presented immaculately. Gives v showy account of himself and v square outline. Excellent bone, legs and feet. Lovely tail set, excellent coat texture, excellent head and expression with v neat ears though a tiny bit wide set.

OD (4) 1. O’Loughlin’s Claran Earthworm Jim under Caoilta. 5yrs chocolate with excellent outline and balance. Correct expression having oval eyes on slight oblique. V good neck, front, excellent body, well ribbed back with compact short loin; excellent tail, v good front and side gait. Ears are a tiny bit wide, DCC in challenge for BOB although the bitch was in far better coat on the day, I preffed the dog’s front action and eye shape. BOB. 2. Powell’s Ch Desaria Disraeli at Brookwell. 2 1 /2 yrs sable & cream with excellent outline, balance and tail. Dark oval eyes, excellent feet and rear gait. Preferred the forehand and movement of 1. 3. Saunders Ch Desaria Dante.

PB (2) Two charming youngsters. 1. Powell’s Desaria Fanny Ann at Brookwell. Mature and well schooled youngster having a more complete picture at this time. Excellent conformation, bone and feet, body shape with compact properties, excellent tail. Lovely oval shaped eye, good ears. In the challenge for BP was v unsettled and wouldn’t apply herself at all. V promising. 2. Briggs’ Pennypot Enchantress. Black 6mths baby again with excellent conformation, though a touch longer in couplines. Correct live wire personality, which I personally feel is being ‘trained’ out of the breed, what a pity. V good rear action, alert engaging feminine expression.

JB (3) 1. Rogerson & Dore’s Kateandy Black Magic at Nosregor. Another ‘teenager’ here today who nonetheless has correct alert spitz head & expression, lovely character. Body well ribbed back, but a bit long overall. V good coat texture, would like tail a bit higher set.

PGB (5) 1. Pooley’s Wyndlee Fallen Angel from Azkaban. Light gold 3 yrs with excellent conformation and body shape, v good movement. Typical head and expression but would prefer ears a shade higher set. V good rear angulation and tail set. Coat not quite at its best on the day for texture or shape. 2. Clayton’s Studholme Kiss An Tell. Just in minimum size, v feminine expression on this girl. Lovely conformation. Excellent body shape, topline rear angulation. Not much coat here on the day but that is only temporary. Ears could be a shade closer set. Not concentrating on her movement and this showed. 3. Andrew’s Draillig Foxy Lady from Runfold.

LB (6) 1. Sanderson’s Galvizach Fredrika via Danack. Beautifully presented dark chocolate b who has glamour stamped all over her. Best conformation, body shape and front in the class. Excellent head & expression, though eyes are a bit too round for me. Excellend use of ears, lovely bone, legs feet and tail. V good action around ring, CC, her 3rd, In challenge, preferred eye shape and front movement of Dog CC winner. 2. Smith’s Desaria Destiny. Smaller mould, light chocolate with lots to like. Alert expression, ears well used, compact body, excellent tail, ok rear. Not the front of 1. 3. Hewett’s Runfold Eternal at Spellcast.

OB (5) 1. Andrew’s Northernsoul in Orbit over Runfold. 6yrs chocolate with required spitz outlook, lively and alert, ears well used, v good construction in front and rear. Correct coat texture and tail. Excellent legs and feet, presents an overall pleasing picture. RCC. 2. Curson & Hindley’s Shelaynes Little Show Girl. Cream with exquisite expression, having dark oval eyes, small neat ears well set on and used. Is well ribbed up and has short loin but insists on the ground to stretch out and stand long. Today was leaving her party frock at home and only had her ‘undies’ with her but has correct harsh texture.
