Critique

MITTELS – I very much enjoyed by day.

VD (4) A lovely class of dogs, a credit to their owners. 1 Thurston’s Rossfort Caractacus from Luibice, cream, lovely wedge head, good expression, ear placement, forechest & front assembly, well bodied, quality coat of correct texture, moving actively while retaining his good outline. BV; 2 Hewitt’s Ch Runfold Full Trottle with Spellcast, upstanding brown of substance, pushed 1 hard, lovely head, well bodied & boned, good harsh coat in abundance, moved well; 3 William’s Musique Executive Decision. MPD (2) Two lovely creams. 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Torvald, outgoing, lovely head, eye & pigment, very good front & body, super coat texture, moved & showed well on good legs & feet, great temperament. BPD; 2 Williams’ Galvizach Galatea at Druitz, lovely boy, very good head & expression, well placed ears, well bodied boy. Very lively & his unsteadiness on the move made it difficult to assess. PD (6) 1 Garbutt’s Nixten Tyxeros, cream with super pigment, pleasing head & expression, very good front assembly, well bodied, good tailset, neat legs & feet, moved steadily; 2 Hewitt’s Spellcast Shoot About It, upstanding black in bloom, good head, neat well placed ears, well ribbed up & back, good tailset, well muscled. Not too steady on the move; 3 Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly. JD (3) 1 Swani’s Spellcast Team Talk, stunning well balanced black in full bloom, good head & expression, well placed ears when he chooses to use them, well ribbed up & back with good tailset, well boned & moving well. Has great ring presence but ideally I would have liked him a little more outgoing, however, teems with quality & shows steadily. CC, & Best Opposite Sex In Show with my co-judge; 2 Smith’s Spellcast Jive Talking, litter brother to 1 & full of quality, very similar to his brother, lovely head & expression. Not quite the balance or front as 1 but a lovely dog, a very active mover; 3 H Hot Toddy for L. PGD (7) 1 S Team Talk; 2 Jones’ Flamuna Revelations at Runestone, good sized sable in full good textured coat, well balanced, well bodied, in good hard well muscled condition, good tailset, masculine head with well placed ears, moved & showed steadily; 3 Wilson’s Nickila Silver Sovereign. LD (8) 1 Andrew’s Claran Narada, upstanding black in bloom, lovely head with neat, well placed ears, good body, well ribbed up & back, good tailset completes a well balanced picture, moving & showing well, his day will surely come; 2 Garbutt’s Nixtev Polarize, cream in super condition put down to perfection as all are from this stable, lovely head with good pigment, good body, bone & tailset, moving well, will trouble the best; 3 Alfred’s Luibice Just William. OD (5) Very hard class. 1 Johanneson’s Nor/Dan/Sw/Fin Ch Possford Rising Sun, cream with fabulous coat, lovely head & expression, neat well placed ears, good body, well boned, retains his lovely outline on the move which he does well fore & aft. Just lacked sparkle in the challenge, but worthy of RCC; 2 Lord’s Nixtev Phoenix, white of similar type to 1, good head, well placed ears, good bone, neat feet, well ribbed up, moved super away, preferred 1 coming; 3 Smith’s Wyndlee Ghostly Magic.

VB (2) Two crackers here. 1 King’s Grizwold Inabikari, 8 years wolf/s, totally feminine, well balanced with good tailset, good head & mouth, well bodied & balanced, moves very well; 2 Pooley’s Wyndlee Fallen Angel from Azkabin, good sized gold, good head, neat well placed ears, good body & bone, moving like a 2 year old instead of the 12 year old she is. A very hard decision between these two. MPB(3) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Tantalise, lovely white, good pigment, super head & eye, neat ears, well boned neat feet, correct coat, well bodied & moved well fore & aft; 2 Andrews’ Dagsljus Against All Odds at Claran, o/s, beautifully balanced, sweet head & expression, neat well placed ears, well ribbed up & back, good legs & feet, lovely mover. Ideally would like her bigger; 3 Hamers’ Dagsljus Uptown Girl of Clamer. PB (4) Two gorgeous creams, totally feminine, correct coats, put down to perfection. 1 King’s Spellcast Talk Ta Da Tail, a pup I have admired since I first laid eyes on her & she didn’t disappoint, super head & eye, neat well placed ears, well ribbed up & back, good tailset completes a balanced picture moved well, showed her socks off. CC, this will not be her last, & BPIS; 2 Francis, Pearce & Garbutt's Nixtev Selenia At Longsdale, very similar to 1, well balanced & much the same applied, 1 has the edge on movement but another lovely girl with a bright future; 3 Williams’ Hocombewood Party Popper at Druitz, most attractive o/s I have noticed before, lovely head & eye, neat ears good legs & feet, thoroughly enjoying her day out but making hard work for owner. JB (1) 1 Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets with Azkaban, very nice black, out of coat. Very pleasing head & expression, well placed ears, super mouth, well bodied, moves nicely on good legs & feet. PGB (5) 1 Richardson’s Wyndlee Lawdy Miss Clawdie at Jomihvar, well balanced orange, good head, eye & forechest, well ribbed up & back, good tailset, nicely angulated. Out of coat, but won this class on her very good movement; 2 Garbutt’s Nixtev Passion, lovely white bitch in good bloom, pleasing head & expression, good bone, well bodied, moved well away; 3 Blight’s Flamina Curtain Call for Rosechow. LB (5) All nice movers here. 1 Mountain’s Daraydala Pink Fizz at Hocombewood, shaded brown, not a big girl but well bodied & balanced, good head & eye, neat well placed ears, good tailset, legs & feet; 2 King’s Druitz Cariad Back of Grizwold, orange, out of coat. Pleasing head & eye, very feminine, good bone, well ribbed up & balanced; 3 Heslop’s Flamuna Babyshames. OB (6) 1 Conway’s Ch Druitz Corndolly at Spawood, good sized orange well deserving of her title, typy feminine head, good ear placement, well bodied, good tailset & quality coat, retains her very good outline on the move which she does well fore & aft. RCC; 2 Orr’s Rossfort Andante with Sobriety, lovely cream, good head & pigment, neat ears, good body & bone, moves well. Just preferred the balance of 1; 3 Thurston’s Caolit Iceni for Luibice. Brace (4) 1 Garbutt’s, creams in total harmony, moving well together & so typy; 2 Heslop’s black & brown, showing as one; 3 Thomas’ orange & brown.
