German Spitz Mittel
MPD (2) 1 Davies’ Nixtev Serylius, cream with dark pigment, very well balanced, broad skull, definition to stop, dark eye, scored in shoulders, mouth & action, ribcage is developing, high set tail & carriage, moderately defined hindquarters, good all round mover; 2 Mountain’s Hocombewood Charlie Brown, attractive head which is well laid out with broad skull, arch to neck, well ribbed up with good topline & tailset, needs to settle in action. PD (2) 1 Chambers’ Musique Worth The Wait, well grown br, upstanding with balance, ears high set, decent neck & front, very well ribbed up, firm level topline & tailset high, decent turn of stifle, busy mover but true enough when settled; 2 Davies’ Nixtev Serylius. JD (1) 1 Pearce & Francis’ Studholme Rolls Of Thunder at Longsdale, handy size cream that is very honestly built, prefer softer expression, very best of shoulders, necks & front, ribs are well sprung & coupling short, super definition to hindquarters, tailset & carried high, quality coat well presented, super mover. PGD (1) 1 Williams’ Druitz The Student Prince, very compact black, eyes dark but touch bold, ears are high set, excellent pigmentation, decent shoulder & front, well ribbed with level topline & high set tail, moderate turn of stifle, super quality coat, moves out very soundly. LD (4) 1 Williams’ Spellcast Talk To Da Paw at Trebettyn, well grown black, head well laid out with broad skull, neat ears & decent stop, good finish to underjaw, clean in neck & front, ribs are well sprung & topline level, scored in front action & hindquarter definition, steady mover in good coat; 2 Hughes & Forrester’s Druitz Welsh Wizard at Candease, masculine headed sable, ears high set, moderate stop & balanced muzzle, arch to neck, firm in body with tail high set, good turn to stifle, steady mover; 3 Mulholland’s Zephon Nebula Rubiestar. OD (2) 1 Mulholland’s Ch Zephon Spookz The Tempest, well grown appealing cream, head is balanced & very well laid out with dark eyes, excellent neck, shoulder & front, some forechest, well ribbed up & carried back with short couplings, level topline, high set tail, well modelled hindquarters, true moving & shown in good double coat, CC & BOB; 2 Williams’ Ch Druitz Black Prince, handy sized compact black, wedgy head with broad skull, neat ears, definition to stop, dark eye, appropriate width to front, strong neck, developed ribcage, short coupled, tidy hindquarters, steady mover but not quite as positive as 1, RCC.
MPB (4) 1 Francis, Pearce & Garbutt’s Nixtev Selenia with Longsdale, so soundly put together cream, ears tend to dominate head at present but hopefully things will balance out with maturity as she has a broad skull with super dark eyes of good shape, straight forelimbs with firm elbows, arch to neck, ribs developing well for age & loin short, level topline & good high tail carriage, excellent hindquarters, good mover if a touch exuberant in front as yet; 2 Williams’ Hocombewood Black Beauty at Druitz, head well laid out with dark eye well set, clean neck, ribs developing, firm topline with tail high set, quality coat texture, moves out fairly true; 3 Clewer’s Spellcast Telltail at Bullbo. PB (0). JB (2) 1 Moir’s Ch Jansanleis Mayhem, liked this young cream very much, handy size with everything in proportion, excellent pigmentation, head very well laid out with features in harmony, best of fronts, very well ribbed up & tail carriage high, moderate definition to stifle, very good all round mover, shows herself off to good advantage & is a sound animated mover. CC.PGB (1) 1 Blight’s Flamuna Curtain Call for Rosechow, very well balanced black, short coupled & compact, feminine head with ears well placed, dark eye & moderate stop, firm underjaw, decent neck & shoulder, reasonable spring to ribs, high set tail, sound quarters, sprightly mover in quality coat. RCC. LB (2) 1 Orr’s Rossfort Andante with Sobriety, quality cream that I would have preferred a touch higher on the leg, mature in head with neat ears well set, could use neck better to advantage, deep well sprung ribs, definition to stifle, true steady mover. OB (3) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Lexis, very showy cream, uses herself, particularly neck, to advantage & holds her shape on the move, dark eye well placed, firm underjaw, best of necks, shoulders & fronts, well ribbed, good hindquarters, quality coat, sound mover; 2 Moir’s Ch Nixtev Liberty at Jansaleis, very similar to 1 but not quite the outline in action, I see is dam to the junior CC winner who has inherited many of her excellent virtues, a most useful dual purpose bitch; 3 Orr’s Ch Pufnstuf Put A Spell On You at Sobriety.
