PD (5) 1 Williams’ Grizwold Lohengrin at Druitz, 11 months cream, who stood away from the rest of the class here for me. So good in outline with excellent neck, firm level topline, short loin & high set curled tail. Balanced head with dark expressive eye & super ears for size & set. Well constructed throughout & moving true all ways. Super, outgoing temperament. BPD; 2 Godridge’s Flamuna Mani, 8 months cream, bigger all round than winner but with lots to like. He also presented a nice outline with correct length of neck, good topline & nice high set tail. Carrying good bone, nicely proportioned head with good eye & excellent ear. Another who is soundly made. Not as settled on the table; 3 King’s Grizwold Loki. JD (3,1) 1 O’Leary’s Amoyalois Rufus, 14 months parti, balanced boy at the top end of the standard. So good in outline with strong neck of correct length, excellent topline & tailset. Correctly proportioned head with good ears for size & set. Well boned & soundly built, stylish mover. Beautiful coat & presentation, very well handled; 2 Smith’s Spellcast You Talkin To Me, 6 months black, at his first show who was rather overawed by the whole occasion. Attractive head with well set ears. Excellent feet, tailset was difficult to assess but when finally settled I was able to see his sound brisk action. I am sure given time he will take all of this in his stride.PGD (4) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Tyxeros, 23 months white who I admired for his overall type, having a delightful head, correctly proportioned with dark oval shaped eye of correct set & good ears for both size & set. Carrying nice bone & substance. He presented a balanced outline with moderately short neck, level topline & nice short loin. Excellent side gait & carriage. RCC; 2 Davies’ Nixtev Serylius, 2 years old cream, smaller all round than winner & of different type but with lots to like. Attractive head with good eye & ear. Nicely balanced boy with strong neck of correct length, level topline & excellent tailset. Very good feet, another who moved well when viewed in profile but could be more positive in rear action. Well handled; 3 Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly. LD (5) 1 Hewett’s Spellcast Shout About It, 2 years old black, who won here with considerable ease. He is so well balanced with strong neck, firm level topline & tailset nice & high. Head of good proportions with excellent ear. Eyes good for shape & set but could be a tad darker for perfection. Well constructed boy with excellent shoulder & nice straight forelegs. Moving soundly all through; 2 Pooley’s Wyndlee Short N’ Sweet at Azkaban, 5 years b/w, of completely different type to winner. Smaller boy all round, but he is well made & moves straight both coming & going. He could use a tad more length of muzzle to balance his head. Excellent ears for size & set, good neck & nice level topline. Very good feet, excellent coat & presentation; 3 Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly. OD (3) 1 Smith’s Spellcast Jivetalking, 2 years old black dog who stood out for me in this class. Adored his overall type & balance. Moderately short neck, level topline, excellent rib, short loin & tailset on nice & high. Delightful head & expression with excellent eye & ear. Moves like a dream when viewed in profile & one who uses himself to full advantage. Top quality coat & presentation. An easy CC winner for me here today; 2 Chambers’ Ch Musique Worth The Wait, 2 years old brown, who unfortunately was not in the best of coats today. Different type to winner but so good to go over. First class construction & could not be faulted on the move. Moderately short neck, good rib, level topline & short loin. Nicely proportioned head with excellent ears for size & set but eye a touch rounder than I would like; 3 Garbutt’s Nixtev Polarize. VD (1) 1 Thomas’ Desaria Darby for Daraydala, 12 years old, who apart from dentition was shown in excellent condition for his age. Balanced boy, with correct length of neck, level topline & very good tailset. Skull narrower than I would like but otherwise his head proportions are good. Good ears for size & set. Pleasing side gait & carriage.
PB (4,2) 1 Hewett’s Spellcast Talking About Me, 6 months black, with the most captivating head & expression, having the darkest of eyes & of correct shape & set. She is so well balanced with correct length of neck, good topline & nice high tailset. Good shoulder, nice straight forelegs & excellent feet. Super, outgoing temperament, shall watch her career with interest. BP; 2 Saich’s Zephon The Thunderstorm at Lindcoly, 7 months black, another promising puppy, but she didn’t quite have the balance of the winner, being slightly longer cast. Attractive head but slightly shorter in muzzle. Good eye & ear. She also impressed for construction & didn’t disappoint on the move. Good coat & very well handled. JB (3) 1 Hewett’s Spellcast Talking About Me; 2 Z The Thunderstorm At L; 3 Thomas’ Lysebourne Aasha. PGB(5,3) 1 Hamer’s Dagsljus Up Town Girl of Clarmer, 2 years black, who was the clear winner here for me. Nice girl overall but feel she still has some maturing to do. She was nice to go over & is soundly built & stands correctly at all times. Attractive head, with dark oval shaped eyes & excellent earset giving rise to feminine expression. Handled to advantage; 2 Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets with Azkaban, 2 years black, who was out of coat on the day. Bigger girl all round than the winner & with a nice length of leg. Good head proportions with nice eye but preferred expression of winner. Moderately short neck, reasonable topline. Strong hindquarters with correct angulation. LB(8,1) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Tantalize, this 23 months white, headed this very nice class. Super girl, of excellent type, who presents the most beautiful outline. She is so well balanced, having a strong neck of correct length, firm level topline, excellent rib, nice short loin & high set curled tail. Carrying nice bone & substance. Most attractive head with dark expressive eye & excellent ears for both size & set. In profile she moves out so well & uses herself at all times. Quality coat & shown in first class order. CC & BOB; 2 King’s Spellcast Talk To Da Tail, 2 years old cream, another super bitch. Different type to the winner but really liked her & she certainly should go on to gain her title. Ultra feminine throughout & again so well balanced. Well proportioned head with excellent eye & ear. As sound as they come & moving true when viewed from any angle. Excellent coat. Handled to perfection; 3 Conway & Oakden’s Macpaws Roxy Rascal. OB (6,1) 1 Moir’s Ch Jansanleis Mayhem, 2 years cream, who stood away in this class. Feminine girl, who scored in outline. Moderately short neck, level topline, good rib & curled tailset on nice & high. Well proportioned head with dark oval shaped eyes & excellent ears. Soundly built all through & a pleasure to watch on the move, using herself at all times & another so very well handled. RCC; 2 Williams’ Druitz Follow That Dream, 3 years old brown, of different type to winner but a nice bitch nonetheless. Balanced in outline with correct length of neck, level topline, short loin & nice high tail set. Head of correct proportions with good ears for size & set but eye a tad rounder than I would like. Good shoulder & nice straight forelegs. Nice brisk action; 3 Conway’s Ch Druitz Corn Dolly at Spawood. BV. VB (0).
