BLACKPOOL MITTEL CRITIQUE
Enjoyed judging this breed and they presented well with some quality exhibits on show.
PD (2) 1 Rogerson's Fisher Bloom Black Shamen With Nosregor TAF. Good balance to head and body, nice eyes and pigment, good bone and feet, when he settled he showed he can move well both ways. 2 Henry's Musique Zirkon. Not as mature or forward in body as winner, but good outline and topline, well made quarters used well on the move, would prefer darker eyes.
JD (5, 2) 1 Roberts' Longsdale Turning Tables At Cwrtafon. Liked the head and eye on this one, good mouth and ear placement, nice shoulder and body, good tail set and quarters, steady on the move. 2 Brock & Peterson's Jansanleis Polar Express To Pomkins. Moved out well both ways, would like a shade more strength to head, nice neck and shoulder presents a good outline when stacked. 3 Saich's Hocombewood Ace Of Spades At Lindcoly.
PGD (3) 1 Heslop's Flamuna Zetes. Clean outline, nice head and eye, very good pigment, good shoulder and neck, strong quarters, nice action front and rear. 2 Saich's Lindcoly Fozzie Bear. Out of a smaller mould but handles well, would prefer a little more masculinity, good action going away, a little erratic in front. 3 Caldow's Flynn's Fly'ing Scotsman Over Livlandean.
LD (3, 1) 1 Saich's Lindcoly Mischief Maker. Scores for size and balance, eye could be better shape, but of good colour, well placed ear, clean neck and shoulders, ok on the move when settled. 2 Hall's Sobriety's Grizzly Bear For Pufnstuf JW. Little too much overall. Lovely eyes and expression, good ear set and coat condition, nice action both ways.
OD (5) 1 Hewett's Ch Spellcast Shout About It. Very nice typical male, good head and eye, well placed ears, used well. Good bone and feet, nice shoulders, neck and topline, strong quarters and such a good mover. CC and BOB. 2 Cook & Clayton's Ch Studholme Moon Orbit. Good on the move both ways, nice head and eye, lovely outline, particularly on the move. 3 Saich's Hocombewood Hot Toddy For Lindcoly.
PB (5, 1) 1 Rolleston's Kelham Love Is In The Air. Scored in outline here. Feminine but has plenty of body, good expression, neck and shoulder, very good on the move, bright future. RCC and BP. 2 Taylor's Clarmers Mischief Managed Under Tispitza. Not as forward and appears a little narrow right through at the moment. Lovely eyes and ear placement, steady mover fore and aft. 3 Hall's Spellcast Lets Ava Talk At Pufnstuf.
JB (2) 1 Moir's Jansanleis Envy. Excellent head and eyes, good expression, clean neck and shoulder, well made body and correct action both ways. 2 Saich's Lindcoly Follow That Dream. Nice for bone and feet, well made quarters, would like a cleaner eye but nice expression, moved ok.
PGB (2) 1 Purves' Bulabs Blonde Lady. Liked the eyes and expression on this one, good balance and front assembly, when she settled she moved well both ways. 2 Heslop's Flamuna Khione. Not so good in front as winner but moved out very well fore and aft, good balance to body.
LB (4, 1) 1 Pearce & Francis' Longsdale's One And Only. Lovely head and expression, clean eye and well placed, used ears, nice neck and shoulder, firm topline, strong body and quarters, very good mover, inbetween coats which cost her BOB and CC. 2 Alfred's Nixtev Vitesse At Teamor. Not the eyes or front of winner but excellent body and quarters, nice mover fore and aft. 3 Purves' Bulabs Leading Lady.
