Thank you to the Secretary for inviting me, my stewards who were so helpful and exhibitors for their support.  A dry but cold day which didn’t seem to appeal to some dogs here today as several dogs I have previously admired from the ringside didn’t have their usual sparkle and some didn’t cope well with all the smells on the ground.

JD (1) 1^st Saich Lindcoly The One An Only, really liked this striking, 17 mths sable parti, beautifully presented with correct textured coat, wedge shaped head with mobile & well used ears, correct bite with strong teeth, straight front, moderate neck into well laid shoulder, firm level topline, good bone & substance, loved his extrovert character & he oozed personality, (as did all from this kennel), so full of life that his movement was difficult to assess but glimpses of correct movement when he put his mind to it.

PGD (1) 1^st Clayton Wyndlee Perfect Storm, smaller framed black who appealed for breed type, pleasing outline when standing, typical head & expression, good bite, neat ears, straight front, adequate bone & substance for size, slightly overawed at times & found the smells on the ground too interesting to resist.

LD (5 4abs) 1^st Rogerson & Mulholland Fisherbloom Black Shamen, dark wolf sable, compact and short coupled, presenting a balanced outline when standing, masculine head with lovely oval eye, neat well used ears, firm level topline, excellent tailset, correct textured coat, brisk, smart mover who was attentive to his handler. RCC.

OD (6 1abs) Quality class.  1^st Hewett Spellcast Talk Tidee, 3 years mature, masculine brown, profuse quality coat which makes him look deceptively bigger than he is, stands foursquare, excels in bone & substance, super wedge head with correct eye, good bite & strong teeth, moderate neck, good spring of rib, excellent catlike feet, super tailset, hard muscular condition, accomplished showman who covered the ground with a brisk, smooth action CC.  2^nd Smith Ch. Spellcast Jivetalking, thought this quality black would be my winner when he entered the ring, loved his proportions, compact with stylish balanced outline, typical head & expression, neat ears, harsh coat that was beautifully presented, showed well but did not move as positively as the winner today. 3^rd Caldow Flynn’s Fly’ing Scotsman Over Livlandean completed a lovely trio.
