Critique

I would like to think the committee of LKA for their invitation to judge. Although there were a number of absentees on the day I had some really nice dogs to go over.

MINOR PUPY DOG 0 ENTRY

PUPPY DOG 1 ENTRY

1. MS BARNES & MISS KING IZLOU SHIVER ME TIMBERS
Smart Black of 9 months. Good masculine wedge head with flat skull dark well shaped eye and neat triangular ears. Well muscled body with good neck shoulders and rear angulation. Nice outline. Gleaming well presented coat. Moved soundly. Best Puppy in Breed.

JUNIOR DOG 2 ENTRIES 1 ABSENTEE

1. MESSRS PEARCE & FRANCIS & MRS ROBERTS LONGDALE’S REBEL ROUSER
12 month well grown Black mature for his age. Strong well boned with great substance. Heavy double coat of good texture. Pleasing head with well placed ears and masculine expression, correct bite. Good constructed and well sprung body. Tended to carry his Tail a little lower than ideal when standing today.

1. MRS BROCK & MRS PETERSON’S JANSANLEIS POLAR EXPRESS TO POMKINS
Cream with good head properties. Well placed shoulders, good rib, strong loin and muscled hindquarters so nicely square and balanced throughout. Neat feet and legs.Well presented double coat. Moved well.

2. MRS KING’S GRONW OCTOBER MOON OVER GRISWOLD
Nice dark shaded sable. Good for size with sufficient bone and excellent tail set giving the required square outline. Nice head and expression but slightly wider ear set than desired. Moved soundly.

1. MRS & MIS ROGERSON & MRS MULHOLLAND CH FISHERBLOOM BLACK SHAMEN WITH NOSREGOR
Sable with classic masculine head, nice dark well shaped eye and good ear placement, good bite. Very well built body with deep chest, level top line and well muscled quarters. Excellent feet and strong boned legs. Sound effortless front and rear movement. Well presented coat of correct texture. Showed non stop. Pleased to award him the CC and BOB.

2. MRS HEWETT’S CH SPELLCAST TALK TIDEE
Larger brown of correct proportions and type. Lovely wedge shaped head with good flat skull, expressive eye and small well set ears. Sound neck and shoulders with correct angulation of upper arm. Short coupled body giving correct square outline. Was unsettled on the move and not showing as well today therefore had to settle for the RCC.

3. MRS ROBERTS CH LONGDALE’S TURNING TABLES AT CWRTAFON

VETERAN DOG 2 ENTRIES

1. MISS WILLIAMS’ CH SPELLCAST TALK TO DA PAW AT TERBETTYN
Well known Black who is up to the measure but is so balanced in construction. Correct head pattern with good eye and ear placement. Firm body well put together. Gleaming coat with good length on top but short under his body which gives the impression he is on the leg however on handling he has the correct proportion of leg length to height. Moved and showed well.

2. MRS MCWILLIAM & MS GREGOR NIXTEV RAZIEL AT ISTRAMAC
Cream of good overall make and type. Nice wedge shaped head with good eye and expression. Well made sturdy body with nice outline. Standing and moving a little wide in front but correctly in rear and from the side.

1. MRS KING’S CH GRISWOLD LOKI
Gold Sable of lovely type. Handsome head qualities. Well constructed body with square outline finished by correctly carried tail. Shown and presented in first order. Moved really well. Worthy Champion.

MINOR PUPPY BITCH 1 ENTRIES

1. MR & MRS PURVES BULABS Q E BEAUTY
Cream 8 months but still very much a baby. Head has a good shape with nice dark eye and pigment. Sturdy well made body but a little long in back. Coat coming on. Moved steadily. Will do better when she has gained more confidence.

PUPPY BITCH 1 ENTRIES

1. MR & MRS ROLLESTON’S KELHAM ONE LOVE
Black almost 10 months. Head is maturing nicely with good dark eye and neat triangular ears. Good body shape and development. Heavy coat is a little soft and wavy over back. Stood square and showed well for her handler. Moved well at the rear but needs to tighten in front. Best Puppy Bitch.

1. MR GARDNER’S DARAYDALA BLACK PEARL
Black at the in between stage. Head has good eye shape and ear placement but would benefit from more fill in foreface to give the desired wedge shape, Body well made with well carried tail giving pleasing outline. Moved ok.

POST GRADUATE BITCH 1 ENTRIES 0 ABSENT

1. MR & MRS ROGERSON’S NOSREGOR UNFORGETTABLE
Pretty cream with super wedge head shape of correct proportions and lovely expression. Ears well placed. Nice level top line. good moderate angulation and high tail set giving square outline. Not the biggest of coats but what she had was of correct texture. Moved soundly.

1. DR DREW’S IZLOU PEANUT PASSION
Smaller type of black but well boned for size. Pretty head with well set ears, good dark well shaped eye, correct bite. Well constructed body throughout. Super coat and condition. Moved well at the rear and in profile but still needs to tighten in front.

2. MISS BELLINGHAM’S GRIZWOLD MOONS MYSTIC CHARM
Cream/white particolour a little between coats but what she had was well fitting. Balanced head with gentle expression. Well constructed body. Moved fluently round the ring and showed steadily.

1. MRS & MISSES MOIR’S CH JANSANLEIS ENVY JW
Cream who is so well constructed. Very feminine with super wedge shaped head and small triangular ears right on top, correctly proportioned muzzle and good bite. Super neck and shoulders, well ribbed back and short loin. Nicely boned legs and tight feet. Well carried tail. Moved with very good brisk stride. Not in full coat today but worthy of the CC

2. MESSRS PEARCE & FRANCIS’ KELHAM LOVE AND ROMANCE WITH LONGDALES
White. Size larger than one but still ultra feminine and of similar type, Very pretty head with appealing expression and well placed ears and good bite, Lovely body shape and make. Nice outline. Very sound on the move. Shown in sparkling coat. RCC

3. MMS BARNES & MISS KING’S IZLOU WALNUT FORGET ME JW

VETERAN BITCH 3 ENTRY 0 ABSENT

1. MRS & MISSES MOIR’S JANSANLEIS MAYHEM JW
Cream bitch with good front and shoulders, level topline, short loin and excellent hindquarters giving nice compact body and outline. Pretty feminine head with nice dark eye giving sweet expression. In good coat of lovely condition. Super mover. Best Veteran in breed.

2. MS ANDREW’S DAGSLJUS AGAINST ALL ODDS AT CLARAN
Cream sable of lovely type. Feminine head well shaped oval eye and neat well placed ears. Compactly made with strong short loin and good ribbing. Not the biggest of bitches but everything in balance and with sufficient substance. Another good mover.
