GERMAN SPITZ - MITTEL

Quite a nice entry awaited me and I was so pleased to see some quality youngsters coming along in the males.   Very few females exhibited. PD (2) 1. Spelcast Ive Got The Look (Hewett). Lovely puppy of 7 months, nice clear brown colour with toning pigmentation.  Very good head which will develop a little more I am certain.  Good neck into the best of front construction, well ribbed with good depth and length and a high tailset.   Pleasing bone and neat feet.   Very good on the move once he settled to the task.  Pushed hard For Bp. 2. Cadasaro Hans (Griffiths) B/W Particolour of 11 months and in good coat.  Pleasing in head with dark eyes, good bite and well set ears.   Good legs and feet and neck, ribbing and couplings all correct.  Moved with confidence but just a bit close at the rear. JD. (3) 1. S Ive Got The Look.   2. Longdales Derun Around At Heansway (Dreschler). Nicely coated black with a good head, bite, eyes and ears all pleasing, well developed in skull and all carried on a decent neck which runs into good shoulders, nice and tight at the elbows and well developed in ribbing.   Pleasing on the move though a tad narrow.  3. Longdales Take It Easy (Blight).   LD (2,1) 1. Izlou No Prob Llama (Barnes & King)  Beautifully balanced black & white with a pleasing head with excellent muzzle shape and good skull.   Neat well carried ears.  Nice front assembly and well ribbed with a good tailset.  Nice legs and feet, on the move showed good front and rear action and, in the challenge, earnt himself the Res CC.  OD (5). This was the biggest class of the day and was full of quality.  1. Ch. Ir Ch. Int Ch. Izlou Float Ma Boat (Blight).  A lovely black/tan presenting a super outline.  I loved his head with good muzzle to skull relationship, nice small ears set in the right place and lovely eyes.   Carries his head nicely on well set neck, good topline and tail set.   Well sprung ribbing of good length and nice and tight at the elbows.  Stands on good legs and feet.  A very good mover in both directions.  CC & BOB   2.  Ch Izlou Shiver Me Timbers (Barnes & King) Brother to winner and very similar in shape and head type.   He has a slightly bigger ear than his brother and perhaps a little less bone.  The rest is almost identical so he pushed hard in this class.   3. Cadasaro Gerhard (O’leary) Vd 1. Spellcast Hear Your Talk (Durham).  Sound and free moving seven year old black in super coat and condition.   Pleasing in head type with good bite and dark eyes.   Nicely placed ears.  Is well bodied and nicely boned. SBD/B 1 Cadasaro Hans. 2nd in PD VB 1 Izlou Peanut Passion  Another with the same sire as the BOB and of similar lovely type.  Super headed almost 8 year old black with good legs and feet.  Nicely sprung ribbing and carrying a good jacket.  Showed very well and good on the move in both directions.  Res CC PB (2) 1. Cadasaro Hanna (O’Leary) Pretty cream brindle who unfortunately had left most of her pretty coat at home.  Typical in head with perfect bite, dark eyes and good stop.   Lovely expression. Nice for neck, well made in front, standing on good legs and feet and well up on her toes.  Nicely ribbed and excellent tail set.  Pleasing on the move and should tighten in front.  Being four months older than the dog puppy she was coping well with the sights and sounds of a big show. without any tiredness, so awarded BP though both of them have such a great future I am sure.  2. Spellcast Durham Addition (Durham) Six months black with sweet head, nice neck and topline.  Stands on good legs and feet.  She moved OK but has quite a lot of developing to do and learning about these big events.   PGB (2) 1. Izlou Muffin Compares For Shyliar (Nicholls)  Beautifully made black which oozes confidence. Super head with lovely expression, well constructed in front and has excellent ribbing of good length and depth. Stands and shows well.   High set tail. Very good on the move in both directions.  CC  2. Cadasaro Gucci  (Kettle-White) Black/white parti with interesting head markings which deceive the eye at first look. Pleasing type with good head and topline.  Well made in body and moved nicely but she does need to settle to the task to show off her best.
