Thank you to the society for the kind invitation to judge at their general championship show. Thank you to my steward who kept the ring running smoothly and was great company. A huge thank you to all those who entered under me with their much-loved dogs, very much appreciated and luckily the weather stayed dry for us, even if we were all freezing!

Class 328 – Veteran Dog

Class 329 – Puppy Dog (3)
1st Lewis, Grizwold Pirate’s Tale at Louchelle. 9 month old black dog. Lovely overall outline and proportions. Good for size. Lovely head and expression with wonderfully dark oval eyes. Relatively flat skull with great size and shape of erect ears. Good length of neck. Well placed shoulders. Good amount of bone. Level topline, great spring of rib. Correct tail set. Tight feet. Moved effortlessly around the ring. RBD & BPIB.
2nd Francis & Pearce, Longsdale’s Hope in Ya Heart. 11 month back dog. Masculine male without coarseness, everything in proportion. Loved his head & expression. Great bone with straight legs into nice tight feet. Good forechest and spring of rib. Tight elbows. Well muscled throughout. Correct tail set. Moved extremely well.
3rd Huntley, Ciasman Ala Droppaa Mun Tunnelmaa (IMP FIN)

Class 332 – Open Dog (2)
1st Pearce, Francis & Roberts, CH Longdale’s Rebel Rouser at Cwrtafon JW OSW. 6 year old black dog. An outstanding male, I have done well for before. His overall outline and balance is bang on, with nothing overdone. Beautiful head and expression. Lovely dark eye, of the correct shape and size. Correct length & width of muzzle with a perfectly black nose. Ears of correct shape and size which he used well. Just enough forechest with good spring of rib. Level topline into high set, well plumed tail. Nice tuck up. Well muscled. Strong hocks. Great feet. Moved precisely around the ring, holding his topline at all times. BD & BOB.
2nd King, Grizwold Owl Light. Cream/White 2 year old. Similar in outline to 1. Good overall body proportions. Not the head of the winner, but a nice eye and ear set. Good length of neck. Correct shoulders. Good bone, feet ok. Level topline, which he kept on the move. Correct tail. Good rear angulation, strong hocks. Moved very well.
Class 333 - Veteran Bitch (1)
1st Williams, CH Dulas Moonlight Over Paris at Trebettyn JW. 8 years old Walf Sable. Quality bitch with a lovely outline. Prettiest of head, ultra feminine without losing the width of muzzle. Solid in body with excellent front assembly. Lovely topline. Short solid loin. Well muscled, great tight feet. Moved extremely well. BVIB.
Class 334 – Puppy Bitch (2,1)
1st Saich, Lindcoly Wish on Rainbows. 7 month old cream girl. Very much a baby, plenty of scope for future development. Pretty head with correct eye. Good amount of stop and length of muzzle. Good ears with correct set. Enough length of neck. Shoulders well placed, nice amount of bone. Good feet. Nice overall outline, with high set tail. Needing to strengthen in the rear yet. BPB.

Class 336 – Post Graduate Bitch (2,1)
1st Saich, Lindcoly Trust In Me. 15 month old Blue Sable bitch. Typey outline with good overall proportions. Nice head with correct eye shape, although would prefer slightly darker in colour. Nice small, well set ears. Solid body, with great bone. Great forechest, tight elbows. Level topline with correct high set tail. Well angulated rear. Great feet. Moved parallel with an easy stride.
Class 337 – Open Bitch (3,1)
1st Roberts, Cwrtafon Cosmic Love. Coming up to 2 years, black bitch. Loved her overall proportions. Good length of muzzle, just enough stop into a nice almost flat skull. Good shape and size of eye, with correctly placed small erect ears. Lovely angles fore & aft. Good tight feet. Moved with real precision as a well made dog should. BB & BOS.
2nd King, Grizwold Oops A Daisy. 3 year old parti coloured bitch. Very pretty bitch, loved her head and expression – the most beautiful darks eyes. Great length of neck into well placed shoulders. Forelegs correctly placed under withers and of correct amount of bone. Good spring of rib and enough tuck up. Level topline. Tail high set and of moderate length. Good for rear angulation with strong hocks. Couldn’t match the movement of 1st unfortunately. RBB.
