Critique

German Spitz Mittel

Amazingly no absentees in this nice entry. Many could have been in better coat, but this wasn’t a high priority today. I thought there was quite a variety in heads, some very strong in skull and short in muzzle. All went under the measure, some easier than others.

Fairly square d of 6 mths. Masc head, dark eyes. Well set ears. Medium neck. Balanced and moderate in angulation. Level topline. Well bodied. Fairly accurate mover just a bit playful infront.

Junior d (2)

Fairly evenly matched pair.

1st: 4409 DRECHSLER, Miss A Longsdale's Derun Around At Jeansway

Square d. Liked his head. He is v alert, dark eyes, neat well set ears. Medium neck. Quite a good forechest. Chest to elbow. Level topline. Moderate rear. He could be cleaner coming towards.

2nd: 4407 BLIGHT, Mrs Ellen Longsdale's Take It Easy

Square d. Strong and masc head. Dark, oval eyes. Medium neck. His angulation is moderate and balanced. Could have a little more width of chest. Level topline. Accurate on the move.

Post grad d (1)

1st: 4432 WILSON, Mrs I D Izlou Everday I'm Truffling At Flytesway

Slightly shorter in body than his height. Quite a strong, masc head. Dark eyes. Well set ears. Medium neck.He is moderate in his angulation. Level topline. Accurate on the move with a brisk stride.

Square d who is out of coat, but best mover in class. Liked his head, lovely balance, dark eyes, super expression. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder. Tight elbows. Level topline. Moderate rear.

2nd: 4403 ANDREW, Ms Karoline Jericho Rapidamente Daraydala TAF (Imp Pol)

Square d who has a moderate stride. Coat is a bit soft. Liked his balanced head, well set ears. Medium neck. Forward in shoulder. Level topline. Moderate rear. Accurate on move but shorter stride than 1.

Square d who shows so v well and has a super, easy profile action. Super coat texture. Liked his head. V good eyes. Well set ears. He has enough neck. Well laid in shoulder. Firm body with a level topline. Moderate rear. Just a bit elbowy in front, parallel at rear. CC & BOB, hope he returns to gain his crown.

Square d who could carry more coat. Prefered his expression to 3. Liked his head. Medium neck. Could have a slightly better shoulder. Level topline. Chest to elbow. Moderate rear. Parallel mover with a typical stride. RCC

Certainly enjoying his time in ring. Square d with profuse coat. Masc head, eye shape could be better and ears a little low. Medium neck. His angulation is v well balanced. Level topline. Went well.

2nd: 4412 DURHAM, Mrs L Spellcast Hear Your Talk (ai)

Tends to drop his tail. Square d who is heavily coated. Strong head. Dark eyes. Would like better eyes. Medium neck. Level topline. Balanced angulation.

Lovely pup who is square under her coat. Super head. Lovely eye and expression. Well set ears. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder with long, sloping upper arm. Level topline. Well bodied.Moderate rear. V good mover. Still in puppy coat. Her slightly better proportions won CC. BP

Very raw and not yet in coat. Pretty head. Her eye colour is ok. Medium neck. Level topline. Chest to elbow. Parallel mover.

Slightly off square and is a bit short of coat. Well shaped head. Pigment could be deeper. Medium neck. Quite a good front. Chest to elbow. Level topline. Moderate rear, could be more accurate in hind action.

Square b who is a v good mover. Could be more relaxed on table, expression much better on floor. Well set ears. Medium neck. Her angulation is well balanced. Level in topline. Well ribbed. Moderate coat.

Super mover. Would prefer a little more leg length for better balance. She has a v good head, dark eyes. Fem, with correct width of skull. Medium neck. Well laid shoulder. Deep chest. She is well ribbed back and short in loin. Level topline. RCC

2nd: 4405 BARNES, Ms L & KING, Miss I Izlou Mustard Been Love

She is more square than 1. Find her a bit strong in skull and would prefer a longer muzzle. Medium neck. Balanced in angulation. Level topline. Moderate rear. Lifts front a bit high moving. Accurate up and back.
