GERMAN SPITZ - MITTEL

I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge at this popular well run show, the conditions being far more favourable than last year, I must also thank my very capable stewards and although being late gaining access to the ring they enabled me to get my BOBs into the group and finally the supporting exhibitors for their quality entry only having, I think, 2 absentees, congratulations all round. JD (1) 1. Fox’s Izlou Let’s Avocuddle. 16 months bl/wh, compact, short coupled and well knit with almost square outline, active and alert, masculine head, nearly flat skull, small well set ears, good front assembly, level top-line, moderate hind, moved soundly with a brisk action, by my limit winner, RDCC. LD (3) 1. Barnes/King’s Izlou No Prob Llama. Very active and alert bl/wh standing on small well arched toes, well balanced all through, well knit compact body with well sprung ribcage and short loin, not quite the masculine head of his son from previous class, maintained a level top-line on the move which was brisk and sound. 2. Drew’s Doroluna If The Crown Fits. A handsome brown of larger frame and not in full coat today but still easily within the standard and son of the lovely veteran bitch, much to like regarding his overall make and shape, very sound and steady on the move, appreciated his handsome head and expression. 3. Taylor’s Tispitza’s Futterwacken. OD (1) 1. Barnes’ Izlou All You Knead Is Love. Handsomely headed quality mature black of 4 years with everything the standard asks for, well bodied, in full double coat of good texture, good balance of front and rear angulation, level top-line on the move which is brisk and sound, DCC & BOB. VB (1) 1. Drew’s Izlou Peanut Passion. Thought this 8 year old black, mother of two other fine exhibits, quite lovely, so correct and typy, smart sound mover, so much to offer, BV. JB (1) 1. Taylor’s Tispitza’s Avada Kedavra. 17 month quality and typy black with a lot going for her, really feminine with well balanced head shape, neck well let into her shoulder placement, good return of upper arm, well ribbed body, good balance of front and rear assemblies, smart mover, RBCC. PGB (1) 1. Nicholls’ Izlou Muffin Compares for Shyllar. 2 year old black of good type with much to appreciate, good for overall balance and type, good body frame, sound on the move which, covering the ground well. LB (2) 1. Drew’s Doroluna’s Diamond Crown. Two very similar blacks,  both being well made, well bodied and full of type and overall balance, just preferred the head of first. 2. Barnes’ Izlou The Truffle Maker. OB (1) 1. Barnes/King’s Izlou Gossip Girl JW. Beautifully balanced and very out of coat but her quality is there for all to see, most delightful well balanced head, dark pigment, moderate neck into good front assembly enabling her to stand well over herself, ample spring of rib, level top-line, good tail set and carriage, smart co-ordinated mover, BCC.
